July 4 comfort crew ready to protect stressed animals in Metro Detroit

As fireworks light up the sky, Local 4 knows animals across Metro Detroit can get overwhelmed and stressed. Imagine even more stressed animals in an already stressful environment, such as an animal shelter.

As a life-long dog owner, I always hope for rain on the 4th of July and New Years Eve. Fireworks terrify wildlife, too.
