I payed and finished this game on PC back in the day. PC version looks way better than the PS1 version. The game looks amazing in 3dfx Glide rendering mode. High resolution with smooth FPS. Definitely one of the highlights of 1999.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 if I remember correctly, you could turn your rear view mirror on and off. If you’d turn it on, your frame rate went down pretty hard.

@@CYON4D for early 1999 it really looks spectacular. The PS1 version runs with a very low resolution, it looks much much worse than on the PC.

That's true for most racing games, when you turn the mirror on the FPS goes down.

i like the ps1 version better but this is still cool
