Will Voodoo 3 run gta san andreas?
@@НарекАмиршадян I never tried San Andreas with the Voodoo 3 but I guess it won't work since it is much newer than the old Voodoo 3.
I was #1 in the world at creating cars for this game. No joke. I was part of a small development team spread across the globe. We created our own demo version of this game with update graphics, tracks and cars. I was responsible for everything concerning the car sounds and handling. I was able to squeeze out some incredible stuff from this old game engine - things it was never meant to be able to do, such as seperate on- and off-throttle sounds for example. Our founder (Toon Kersten) even presented our demo to Spyker Cars in the Netherlands. Ibwas rhe co-founder b.t.w. (Matthias Nyberg). I spent some 5 - 10 000 hours developing and testing cars for this game.
@@ScaleCrawling wow very interesting. I liked and played Viper Racing a lot back then, it certainly was one of the best games of 1998.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 For sure. I bought it in 1999 and was hooked. I met Toon Kersten in the early 2000s and started working on the VRGT demo. I think the demo (or an equivalent "new version of the game" of some sort) is still available on the website "Val's Viper Racing" (Val's personal webpage). Val is another guy that was part of the community since forever. He is known for creating the largest number of cars for the game, and hosting online races for an unbelievable number of years. For decades, literally. He can probably answer any questions you might have.
Anyone tell me please how I get steering camera I mean cockpit view in patch version?
@@diablogaming6774 in the 3dfx glide version there is no cockpit view, unfortunately. Only in Software mode cockpit view is available.
pretty good performance. impressive
@@RealHero101111 Quake 3 runs surprisingly well with the Voodoo 3 2000 in 1024x768 maximum details. And Quake 3 not only was released almost 1 year after the Voodoo 3 but it also had very high system requirements for that period.
This looks just like Daytona USA.
@@comyxcon4gaming860 That’s true, it looks similar.
eu me lembro de jogar esse jogo numa riva tnt 2 de 64mb placa top na epoca hoje até uma calculadora tem placa de video melhor kkkkkk
The Riva TNT2 was one of the best cards of 1999, it could run Unreal very well with a relatively fast CPU for that time.
You know you can move and shoot at the same time?
not all endings are happy ending

@@upgrade1373 both are very nice for 1999 games. The TNT2 though is a lot cheaper than the Voodoo 3 3000.

Hah you just added another game to my list :) thanks
@@RootiferasRetroGameplay I played this one back in the year 2000 so I thought I should try it out again. It’s a simple arcade racing game, the graphics are nice though for the year 2000.
I didn't know anything about this game. I'll give it a try. Thanks for bringing the video. Would it be possible for you to try Nightmare Creatures if possible? Cheers!
@@gatopardo4443 well it’s not a great racing game but I thought I’ll try it out since I remember playing it back in the year 2000. I already installed Nightmare Creatures on my retro system but for whatever reason the game runs just too fast and I don’t know what to do to slow it down to a normal speed. Everything moves like 3x faster than it should.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 I've been reading about that problem, and I came across this: 'The game logic and some animations are tied to the frame rate, but not entirely. Therefore, although it is possible to play at 60 FPS or more, it is recommended to play at 30 FPS.' So, do you need a program to cap the FPS at 30, like RivaTuner, for example

@@66mhzbrain One of the best shooters of 1999 with excellent graphics and special effects for that time. It also has some negative aspects, like: repetitive closed space levels, no diversity among the enemies, also a little too short.
I like more Lemans 24hours, also from 2000 but from Infogrames and much more polished. Unsure if has glide support.

@@efpcvintageplanet3406 it has very nice graphics and runs excellent with the Voodoo 3 in Glide.
Aside pure 90s gaming, which is the reason people still bought them, Voodoo GPUs has a pretty weird color rendering with anything beyond early 00s (as example, GTA III itself). A Geforce4 MX440 or maybe a Radeon 9800 Pro is the key for very early 00s rigs and games (specially using a nice CRT).
@@AggressiveMenace of course GTA 3 runs much better on newer faster cards but back in 2002 a lot of gamers still had Voodoo 3 cards. GTA 3 still runs acceptable with the Voodoo 3 even if it was released more than 3 years before the game.

Hey. Here I am again with another question. 🙂 I have an amd K7-600 mhz with a voodoo 3 2000. I'm very happy with my system and I ask myself if a voodoo 3 3000 would give that much more performance in my system? I ask this because I know somebody who sells a voodoo 3 3000. I attached an extra fan to my voodoo 3 2000. So I think I could safely overclock it to a voodoo 3 anyway. I am very curious to your opinion. Thank you and I always enjoy your videos.
@@poweruppete Thank you. The V3 3000 is exactly 16% faster than the V3 2000, in practically all games in 1024x768. The difference is small in my opinion. It would be worth it to upgrade to the V3 3000 only if you can buy it for a low price. Most V3 3000 overclock to around 180-190 mhz so if you reach that frequency with your V3 2000, it wouldn’t make sense at all to buy a V3 3000.
@@3dfxvoodoocards6 as I thought. Not much of a win. I offered 80 euros for the card.
