we had one same year and same color for about 18 years in our family. my father bought it as a dealer demo from a Dallas based acura dealership. it was my sisters first car, my first car and my brothers first car. it recently got totaled and it felt awful when we went to the tow yard to empty it out. seeing on this channel just flooded in memories and a tiny tear. thanks wizard, im excited to watch future videos on this!
Yeah, losing a faithful rig that provided years of service is always painful.
have a question I thought these had the bad transmission from the accord-ish models?? I wanted to get one of these but I remember Honda having those transmission issues in the 2000s
@@JDMHaze honestly I was sold on that idea too without being able to verify it personally. Until one of my relatives got a 2003 mdx with the original transmission. It’s now at 250000+ miles with just regular maintenance it was around 180000 when they got it. I myself own one now cause I fell in love with the car. Mine is a 2005 with 228000 on the clock and still got the original transmission. So I really can’t tell if the problem is maintenance wise.
Hey Wizard. 1st Gen MDXs are my specialty. I’ve rebuilt transmissions in these and daily drive a 2004 MDX. I’ve got a white 2004 with 215,000 miles and just sold my black 2002 with 240,000 miles on it. They’re fantastic vehicles as I run my diagnostic business out of the back of it. Welcome to the MDX family! They’re also fantastic in the snow! Passwords can be found online or with a call from the dealer
I have a question if about the trans mine my a weird gear chattering noise @55 mph and makes the same noise before 45 but it very subtle you'd have to make it do it but @ 55 mph definitely hear it I was wondering changing the fluid and changing the solenoids would help?
Hey, trying my luck here but I have an 03 mdx with 300k kilometers on it and the all wheel drive doesn't work. The vtm4 light on the dash stays on all the time. Is there any easy way to fix this or I should just forget about it and drive it in 2wheel drives till car is done for? Other than that everything else is working great on the car, just redid the brakes.
@@Frost_Tiger torque converter shudder, put it in d4 unless your going 55mph + and it will stop
@@drewruf3178 I'll try it out hopefully it stops thanks
@@Frost_Tiger not to worry you but my 03 did the same and started to around 45 mph the rpm keep pegging back and forth, all and all it was the torque converter
Friend of mine has that same generation MDX. His parents bought it new, and he’s still driving it past 450k miles. Bravo to Honda/Toyota on reliability.
The exterior appearance of it before repairs really gives it the winter beater look, I love it. Also that PS line, as a Honda owner of that era, get new o rings for sure. The original ones from the factory harden up quickly and gets air in. Sounds like a Ford PS Pump when they kick they get real bad.
I had 410,000 miles on my 2006 MDX. The blend doors were messing up so I sold it and bought my 2015. Great cars!
My mix door is making noise. It's pretty easy to get to. It only makes noise when it's hot out as it was a TX car. It never gets cold there so the heater side works fine.
@@ne2i super easy fix for anyone handy with some basic tools. Easy to find how to’s in forums.
@@whatiswrongwithus thanks My wife said it stuck on full hot. I have one on order. The cool thing about Hondas is that the HVAC is so easy to service. I changed the evaporator core and it wasn't too bad. It all comes out the glove box. All of the Hondas I've had over the years were like this.
We still have our 2006 MDX the only car we bought brand new and it is running like a champ with regular maintenance still with around 220k miles. We also have a 2016 MDX that's currently the family car.
Ive had a 01 and 06 mdx, great bang for the buck, awd is great and 3rd row is nice to have. one tip add a large transmission cooler and the transmission will be happier
First gen MDX was always my favorite.
Although early years could have transmission issue
Junk torque converter will do it
I still can't believe he paid 3k for this. For a mechanic of his caliber how does he not know about the terrible history of the torque converters on these things. I bet when he gets it up to temp the tranny will do some weird things. TQ lockup happens when you drive slowly and it kills the trans prematurely. No fluid filter or maintenance change can save it. Its the tune in the computer that is required to be done so the TQ doesn't self-destruct.
@@petarpetrik487 i know how terrible hondas with a v6 and automatic trans from this era are, im sure he knows too, but to him and a lot of other people, 3k could buy a MUCH worse car. I've seen people buy used X5 for that price and more, I'd trust the MDX more. I had a 2004 acura tl, those transmissions are terrible and are known for going out and being jerky, mine went out twice lol. I babied it when i had it rebuilt, it still went out on me. I regret not getting a manual transmission for that car, I would've loved it otherwise
I saw on on Craigslist this morning for 1700. It's nice. It just needs wheel bearings.
@@hoopty. for that price I could buy a decent old Toyota Sienna, like I said there much better cars for your money, my opinion is MDX is not worth it but hey if you feel like it’s your only option 🤷♂️
5:36 If you open the glove box and look on the left hand side, there should be a little sticker with the radio and navi codes.
I wonder if he found it???
Worst case scenario the dealer will also provide the code for free if you provide your vin. At least they did for me in Canada.

@@christopherhamilton5557 hahah Wizard will not even tell us. He is the wizard with the magic wand....
I bought a 2005 MDX about 3 years ago for 3500. It only had 115,000 miles on it. The paint is doing the same thing but it's had the sun and heat of AZ to help it along. The headlights are my biggest problem. Tried buffing them out and still dim. Trying not to have to replace the lenses due to funds. Just had to replace the alt/battery, ac compressor and brakes. But runs like a champ. Good in the sand as well as the snow. Gas mileage sucks but new plugs and injectors are next on my list. Have fun with both of your new rides. Love the paint job on the bike, sweet ride. 👍
Beautiful bike, not really a bike person but its good to see the wizard rewarding himself not only for the hard work he does for people, but also for providing a proffesional service whilst being authentic, transparent and working with integrity, business isn't just about making a quick buck and maximising those single opportunities, when it comes to money, some people are short sighted always looking for the quick buck, an easy way of generating income by taking advantage someones lack of knowledge but when you see the bigger picture, it's about creating a meaningful relationship with someone based on trust through behing honest, transparent and genuine by adding knowledge and offering solutions in a clear manner based on logic which the wizard does perfectly, that's why his customers are loyal and that's why i support this channel. ☝🏽
Hey Wizard check inside the glovebox/glovebox compartment. I recall Honda would put the radio code in there. Usually on the sides hidden where the blower is. Doesn't hurt to look and change the cabin filter while you're there. The only other option is give your vin to the dealership or stereo S/N to get that code. The Harley is beautiful! Mrs. Wizard would love to take the Harley out too once the weather warms up.
My 02 rsx had it printed on an unlabeled sticker on the glove box. Not sure if they did it on all of the cars of this vintage
We had an 04 pilot and the radio code was an unlabeled sticker in the glovebox.
They did on the 2009 Fit
If you need to get the S/N of the radio just press buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously and then turn the radio on. You don't have to pull the radio out to do this as long as your Honda is 2001 or newer.
@murray1575 Yep then he can call an Acura dealer, ask for the parts department and they can look up the radio unlock code based on that serial #. I work for a Honda / Acura dealership (we do both) and get that call 10 times a day
I’m glad you weren’t going to say don’t buy a Acura MDX, because I just bought one for my daughter.. it’s a 2017 mdx awd with 176,000 miles from a buddy of mine.. it’s so clean and all dealer maintained..
Tyler's a bad influence on you, Wizard! XD
Seriously, for such little issues, you got a good deal. Nice winter vehicle.
I recently had the occasion to look one over, out of curiosity, of the same year model but it was a "dove gray" color. That particular vehicle had almost 200,000 miles on it but had been garage kept by its original owner and dealer serviced only. Sale price? $12,500.00 FIRM! You stole your truck! The used pickup/SUV market is out of control here in the Southeast with a decent "beater" often selling for almost new, for any given model year, prices. Thankfully The Lovely Bride and I purchased the '05 Chevy Colorado Z71 4X4 crew cab, 3.5L 5cyl, LS that I utilize for hunting and fishing trips before the market went totally fool!
The transmissions are common failures for these MDXs and they also tend to have parasitic draws on them. I’ll look forward to you doing those repairs If they pop up on your MDX!
I just bought a 05' MDX for $4k a month ago with absolutely nothing wrong with it besides needing an oil change. It does have over 200k miles but runs and drives perfectly. The AWD (VTM-4) will get you out of any situation. You'll like your new ride Wizard.
Do you take it on road trips recently and what kind of maintenance have you had?
Got 05 MDX... so reliable, hardly need anything other than regular service. Fun fact... even 2022 MDX has similar fuel mileage... no major economy improvment... I guess something to do with aerodynamic. Be sure to install transmission cooler and upgrade the power steering cooler while you are at it (usually upgraded with towing package by dealer).
That is an awesome paint scheme, I don't think I've ever seen that before. Being an Army vet you would probably appreciate all of the military themed "Quirks and features" on the Fatboy.
Always interesting to see how a mechanic "buys" parts for personal vehicle vs selling parts to a customer.
REALLY....new rotors and used pads...WOW!
Mr. P
I have that EXACT Acura same color and same paint peel on the front. Mine has 200k on. Houston TX car. Immaculate underneath. I changed the rear catalytic converter ant the bolts came right off. The transmissions can be a problem. I put a transmission cooler on as they run really hot. Also there are finger screens on the shift solenoid's that can plug up and make it shift erratically. They are easily accessible on the outer case. These need good Honda transmission fluid and they need it changed often. This car played yoeman duty pulled behind my diesel pusher rv for many years. Great vehicle you'll love it.
Spoke too soon the blend door actuator just stuck on full meltdown. Thankfully they are easy to get to and not to expensive.
Brother, I would check that timing belt for power steering fluid… guaranteed you will need to replace that belt if it got saturated with Power Steering Fluid. Secondly, oil from the flywheel cover indicates a Rear Main Seal leak!
For the radio code check for a sticker on the side of the glove box or taped to a fuse cover in kick panel or even under the hood.
actually in this case, he's more than likely going to have to extract the radio and get the serial number for it and then he can call Honda and request the security code!
Why would they bother to put an anti theft code in the radio if the code was stamped on the car itself?
It’s just a fairly common thing you will find with Hondas. Not sure if the dealers were the ones to put the sticker in these places I listed but I worked in the car audio industry for about 10 years and many times I would find the code that way. If you can’t find the code in the car then yes you will need to give a dealer the radio serial number and if they are nice they will give you the code.
@@mattvanourney128 oh yeah I'm a long time Honda owner and that happens all the time on those cars!
@@mds2465 He does not have to pull the radio. Pressing 1 and 6 on the head unit will give the serial number, and he can call Acura (assuming the hidden unlabelled sticker in the glovebox/fusebox is gone).
Triangle is a Chinese tire brand. I have a set on my 2015 Mustang GT only because they came on the rims that I bought used from someone to have a set of winter and summer tires. They had good tread on them, practically brand new. They are really good in the dry. Actually have lots of grip. In the wet, dial it back some quite a bit.
Worked at an Acura dealer several years back, brought back some memories
I have an 01 MDX with 281,000. Love it for the winter. Yes it did need a transmission. I bought it that way.
I bought a 2002 MDX with 155k miles for only $1700.. It's in prestine condition. Incredible car. 3 rows of tan leather seats, moon roof..ect. ect.. No dents, no rust-- absolutely NOTHING leaks on this thing. Tires must have been changed recently- 90% tread at least. What a find.
I purchased my 03 MDX with a blown trans at 165k from my customer , 2300 to rebuild trans , now have 212k miles and have replaced control arms droplinks Kyb struts shocks pads front and rear twice, tires twice, evap repair was difficult to diagnose as it has two ! canisters and two vent valves and two purge valves one of the most complicated evap syestems youl ever diagnose. It gets 24-28 mpg highway, be sure to check timing belt and motor mounts every! 90k.
I'd buy it for 3k. That is the transmission and transfer case that made it into the 06-08 Pilot and 06 and up Ridgeline. Not as bad as the 03-05 Pilot or Odyssey. As long as you do drain and fill of transmission and VTM every 30k, they'll last. 143k on the clock, plenty of life in that thing. Likely replace sway bar end links, and compliance bushings are probably toast if it is chewing up tires. Oil pan leaking on that side is rare, usually it is the oil pump leaking on the other side, which usually happens around 200k.
I’m subscribed to at least 30-40 channels - this is definitely on my top 5. Love it 🚗🚗🚗💥💥💥
WIZARD! RADIO CODE!
Check the sides of the glove box, check the interior of the center console, and check the inside of the fuse box lids, one of those should have it
Yep. On my Accord it's on the outside of the glove box.
I just bought a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer with 154k miles.for 600$. All its needed was a battery and a power steering line. Paint is 100%. No dents and the interior is spotless. Never been smoked in.
Car wizard looking more and more like a UA-camr and less and less like a mechanic…. Love the growth
Funny
I have about 230,000 on my 2007 RDX. I snapped a CV joint but otherwise just scheduled maintenance. My son took it to college in Colorado mountains. A set of snow tires makes it a beast in the snow. He loves it. The stock sound system is really nice too. I broke the beauty cover on the engine so I just left it out. Unfortunately he slid sideways into a pole trying to avoid a deer. He was ready to scrap it but I told him to act like a broke college student. A sledge hammer to the fender got I off the tire. He had to tape the rear window and door permanently shut. Now he loves it even more because he isn't afraid of damaging it
That is growth?
My old Acura had numbers on the side of the glovebox when you open it ; the side facing the driver.. one of those numbers should be radio code
My 03 MDX has 278,000 and still going strong , has never left me stranded and is easily the best car I have ever owned , yes I maintain it very well and I do all the work myself ... retired mechanic
Hey, Jeff I have gotten a 2004 Mdx 236k I’ve Replaced both motors and converter still won’t go over 70mphs any fix recommendations?
That's encouraging. My 03 had 178000 and I really can't afford a new car I'm hoping to have this for a while.
Wizard 😁 I have a 2006 Acura MDX and I didn’t have the codes for the radio either, but I called the Acura Dealership with my VIN and they were able to get the code.
It's very good considering it's nearly 20 years old, worth spending a few dollars on and tidying up 👍
Love the wizards show. Wish Mrs. Wizard had her own. She could have a wonderful show. I, as many men, don't watch for women's aspects on questions or interiors. I'll always watch, I just stop at the interiors.
I've been married. Hard enough to listen to your own.
The heat some mdx cars have dual fans if one fan fails the other stays working how you tell is easy crank on the heat full blast with the fan on if your fan blows full throttle right away the 2nd fan isn't working because the 2nd fan usually has a regulator that controls voltage to the second fan hince the jet engine sound when it fails no big problem and usually isn't worth fixing unless you want a challenge
That car has held up better them most on the road. Looks like it's wasn't abused, just driven.
I saw a mdx with bad cats for 500 bucks it looked nice but supposedly the cats were 1500 each for 2 ... so I bought it and used it as a woods bomber
At the 8 minute mark it's mentioned that it has a navigation system. If that's the case you might notice the clock will be running 1 hour fast, and there's nothing you can do, it's a bug that supposedly will fix itself in August. Something about not having enough memory so on January 1, 2022 everything Honda/Acura with a navigation system from around 2003 to 2012 moved 1 hour ahead.
??? My '08 MDX's clock showed the time correctly for Daylight ST; and now shows the correct time for CST.
Go to the dealer they can reset the password for the radio
You don’t have to. You can get the code for the radio online.
that's how I fixed mine after replacing the battery
That radio lockout was such a PITA at the dealership. I'd label print that code and stick it to the inside glove box lid.
Thankfully Acura smartened up and doesn't lock the radio anymore lol. Got tired of unlocking them damn things bc the new buyers don't have the code. Such a ridiculous idea they had lol
@@stewiegriffin88 All the car manufactures were using lock-out codes for a while. My Volvo had it. The previous owner just wrote it in magic marker under the console lid.
My first car was a 01 Acura MDX touring back in 2003 loved that car
These are great and real nice too! Luxurious enough and super reliable, my neighbor has one with 280k. My Lexus IS just behind him at 279k haha! We’re racing to 300k
I too love the Fat boy Harley! Nice purchase! The Acura is also a good buy even with its issues. It should be a good snow day vehicle for you especially when you put some good tires on it! I can’t believe people leave their tires on their vehicles when they are that old! Thanks for sharing!
06er here. Bought it for my wife after selling my 08 TL. Absolutely love this SUV
Have a 2004 MDX, brought it new...and now have 247k miles on it. Have replaced the timing belt 2x and the front tie rods etc..in the last few weeks...still runs like a top...save a few dings and scratches.
Drive it until the wheels fall off!
@@EMichaelBall That is the plan...
you've got a pretty decent example of old reliable Honda.
There was one major issue, only one, but very annoying - transmission. But I believe that all of them were repaired already, and additional cooler should be installed by now on all remaining MDXes.
I can’t believe I’m this early. Thanks for all the great content Mr. Wizard! You’ve quickly become one of my favorite shop channels.
Yes the used car market is wild, seems to be a big interest in trucks and SUVs built before 2014.
Triangle started with transport tires. They are a Chinese brand. They moved into passenger cars a few years ago too. They are cheap tires but half decent. Every year I put a set of cheap snows on my car so I have a new set every year. This year using Haida and they are fantastic for cheap tires. Tons of traction and don't get stuck in even 10" deep snow like we've had a couple times here in Ontario this year.
I'm happy for you Mr. Wizard

Currently driving an 03 with 196k on it. Did a strut/shock replacement and a full bushing update .Biggest improvement was a 3x3 trans flush ( $46 for fluids, $75 for my mechanic to do the labor). added Lucas on final pass. drives like new. Great vehicle!

i have a 2001 with over 400k miles and it still drives pretty well.
Original transmission
Of course not I had to replace the Transmission once and add oil cooler.
Had a 2006 MDX myself. Great car in the winter, but had an issue with the heating. Heater core flushed, changed radiator, blend door actuators, thermostat, heater control valve just to name a few, couldn't get good heat.
It was time to sell it. Just bypass the radiator and run a standalone trans cooler. Also, remove the Bluetooth module, they are known for being the source of parasitic draw.
There should be a radio code on a label inside the glove box. My old Acura TSX had a code placed there.

If not, I've read you should be able to call a Honda dealership with the VIN and get the code that way as well.
Car Wizard I have an 02- I hear 03 was a good year. These are gems just like the 1st gen land rover discovery. I owned one too! If you know how to fix them. Transmission solenoids get clogged. Solenoids are fairly inexpensive except the dual linear one. How do I diagnose which one is going bad? Because I want to keep things at a budget, I don’t have money to change all solenoids mechanic labor adds up real quick $$$. I want to detect the one that is bad.
Back in October I sold my 08 MDX for 4500, with 235k miles, it was a great vehicle and I do miss it at times as we bought it new back in 2008
The 2003 Acura MDX was a great purchase from the Car Wizard. He needed a vehicle to get through the rest of winter and I think that he will keep it for a while. The newer MDX's are very expensive and they have numerous amount of problems, compared to the older ones. Anyway, I am hoping that the Car Wizard will do a buy this, not that video for Subaru, Mazda or Mitsubishi sooner or later.
From the Car Wizard ?
I would like to see a buy this/not that for Subaru, Mazda for sure! You hear of Toyota and Honda dominating the Japanese market but Subaru and Mazda (And Mitsubishi) have been around for decades and are VERY strong, silent contenders! - I know with Japanese, you can't go wrong!

I bought the 05 oddysey for 3k with 190k, made it to 270k, cost me brakes, ac compressor, 2 sets tires, radiator, cv axles, power steering pump, alternator, starter. Never fixed the catylitic converters because it was 1600. Probably all in all 6500 in it for 70,000 miles, stranded on the road a few times and some added problems on some trips. The motor was impressive how new it felt power wise up until the end.
Check the cam chain tensioners on your Fat Boy. The early twin cam engines had spring tensioners and they need to be checked at 20k. When they break the broken parts clog up the oil return and often cause major engine damage.
I love the banter between you and Mrs. Wizard at the start. "You're killing me" Uh huh 🙂" had me dying lol
The perfect mechanic's car. You might just get more use out of it than you bargained for.
Bought my 2008 MDX Sport last March and paid about $9,500 for it. 108k, awesome shape. Also had a recent major service/T-belt/water pump done at an Acura dealership. Had to do front/rear sway bar bushings and drop links, both power mirror actuators (so the memory seats would work), and a couple other things, but it has been a great rig.
Wasn't sure it was a particularly good deal in 2021, but it sure seems like a good deal in 2022! Same rig is $13,500 today...if you can find one.
volvo 240 wagon is probably one of the best cars for snow.
Those Triangle Tires ride like that when they're new too. About the cheapest thing you can find Car Wizard. We've had a few people selling them in Canada trying to make a few bucks for at least 15 years now. You get lucky if they'll actually even balance.
Those solid wheels are tons of fun while cruising down the highway on a windy day, or even a nice side gust. You better be hanging on.
Not bad, I've certainly seen worse go for more money, Best I've done lately is I got an 04 Mazda 6 wagon for $1000. Just needed an alternator and a wheel bearing.
That year 3rd gear clutches usually wear out and clog the filter before before the TC lock up clutch .and like the 02 oddy ,there is a noticeable bump in power running 93 octane.
The 03 and 04 were good bang for the buck MDX 's if the 3rd gear clutch pack still has meat on it
I have a 2004 Acura MDX. 210,000 miles. It's a front wheel drive car. I live in Seattle and took my family skiing every weekend, no issues (good tires needed). We would go skiing in Whistler and the road there was always snow packed. This car is 18 years old and my son uses it at college. What a great car it has been for us. Smooth ride and great comfort. Long road trips to South Dakota every other year. I bought this car in 2006 with 21,000K. My wife wanted a Cadillac Escalade. I told her I would rather walk than that junk on wheels!
You can avoid having to reset the computer system at battery change with jumpers connected to another power source to keep the system lit. It obviously won't draw extra power unless a short is present in the system before the fuses.
I have 470k miles (752,000km) on my 05 MDX. Very little problems other than regular maintenance. does not use a drop of oil. The vehicle in this video has not been kept up properly but still has a lot of life left in it with some TLC.
When the Wizard didn't put the bike stand correctly made me very nervous.
My wife had a 2006 Pilot with that same V6 from 35k miles. We owned it long enough I did the timing & water pump service twice. Second time was about 20k early because the pump from the first time started leaking.
Recently bought myself an 02 Impala LS with the 3800 Series and 86,000 miles for $3,000. Had to replace the torque mounts which was cheap, but otherwise everything works great including the heated seats! I think you got a good deal on the MDX, let me know what you think about my purchase Car Wizard!
Good deal I guess but Acura Automatic transmissions for V6’s from this era are known to have issues....I bet the check engine light comes on soon. I bet the friendly dealer cleared the codes and hoped the check engine light wouldn’t reappear before the Wizard drove away.
CEL on these vehicles come back on within 15-25 miles unless you fix the issue..
@Car Wizard a lot of the times there is a sticker or label on the inside of the glove box that has the stereo code you need. A lot of the times when you open the glove compartment it’s on the left on the side.
The codes are located either on a sticker somewhere in the car. Either the glovebox, center arm rest, or the 3rd row side arm rests, where mine is located. We have a 2004 which treated us well since 2005.
I have an '06 and love it. 225k miles and still going strong
Tyler as been keeping the wizard busy and rolling in cash
Love my first gen MDX my grandma bought it brand new loved that car and I got it and love it
Wizard, I would definitely get in touch with Fellow UA-camr EricTheCarGuy; he used to be a Honda/Acura Master Technician back when these were brand new and could probably give oodles of advice on the common issues these MDXs have.
This era Acura MDX was not recommended by Consumer Reports. I think they still had problems with the Honda V6 transmissions.
It's not bad at all I would have definitely picked it up. Try pressing and holding the power button until the radio lights up usually the code is embedded in the radio. That's if it is the original radio.. Hope it helps
Watch out for cross winds with the solid wheels. It will feel like the front and is bring jerked out of your hands. There a lot of wind resistance. Enjoy your ride
Hell of a buy. Even if he puts 2k in it for tires and struts and leaks , way ahead. Thanks for taking us thru the vehicle.
Chuckled at the triangle joke. I like the way you note things that need doing in the future rather than doing everything as soon as you see it is starting to wear.
Radio code can be found online as well via honda/acura website
Open the glove box, sticker with the radio code may be on the drivers side of the box (on the outside).
always thought about getting one of these.. most have a lot of miles, but that honda v6 is pretty nice to have
Worst part for myself when riding in cold weather was my hands the rest of me was blocked by leather and not to bad but even with cold weather gloves etc my hands hurt so bad after an hour or two on a trip at 60-70 mph , thanks again
I have been a fan of H-D I guess that's not unusual since I have lived in Milwaukee all my life. They are some of the most comfortable bikes on the road. I personally like the Road King ever since I rode one. Although since Harley's are like belly buttons around here (everyone's got one) I want a Triumph Rocket III Classic.
Don't know for sure, but if the radio is factory, I had a 2000 Civic and the code was inside the fuse box panel. Worth looking.
We have a 2004 MDX Touring in Red that we use for the dogs. We’re the original owners, and it has 220,000miles on it. It’s still on its original engine and transmission. Love it
That's some top tier spousal-trolling by the Car Wizard...
Note how color changes on the internet....one second it is purple (actual color apparently), and under more light suddenly it's bright blue.
The current car market has an opening, if one can get the supply lines arranged... flood the market with cheap hybrids or even EVs. Cheap being around $12,000 - 13,000. Cheap, easy to repair, low on frills. If you could get the supply to customer mass production line going, you could have your company name become dominant quickly.
Well a mechanic is a good person to own a harley. You even had a good pair of walking shoes on. A must for harley ownership!
I have an 03 mdx had it for about 2 years now at 113,000 when I got it it was the awd touring all that been through a lot shared it with my brother he sunk it to the frame in mud on the gas all the time now that it’s in my possession I’m at 140,000 now never had an issue with it except for power steering leak on the high pressure line and a valve cover leak other than that not any issues, also as for that nav screen the glovebox when you open it up the codes are there not on the inside but you can look to the complete left while it’s open I guess you could call it the outside of it while it’s open you can get the codes there 👍
