    hi there!
long time viewer here, since your hank's gunner belt review actually. thought I'd finally log in to say hi and drop a sub.
I've got 3 knives in my EDC rotation: the spyderco grasshopper, the buck 110 and the CRKT minimalist katana.
the grasshopper (2 inch blade, slipjoint) is my actual use knife for opening boxes etc. the minimalist katana I've got on me whenever I'm walking the dog or hiking in the woods and the buck 110 I've always got in my car and on my person whenever I'm in the city.
while the minimalist katana is legal to carry in germany, it is a self defense knife - the buck 110 is more neutral and living right on the border to the czech republic there is a lot of police presence here and I get pulled over regularly. never had a policeman react negatively to the buck.
    cheers!

Thank you for the support! I don’t have any first hand experience with a Spyderco or CRKT knives but I hear they are both great quality. It sounds like you have a good use for each knife. That is one of the things I like about knives so much is that you can find one that fits the role you need it too. Thanks again!
