@@balitutor523 I was struggling with the move, kept hitting my wrist to the point of bruising, couldn't figure out how to make it go around the thumb, the best I could come up with was angling the grip and twisting my wrist really hard. The way you explained it - regular quickdraw, leave the thumb on the handle - nothing short of genius.
You don't really have to turn your palm at all. If you know the quickdraw, it's pretty similar. Here you first place the your thumb on top of the handle, then the Safehandle will hit it when opening.
@@darthrenegade5576 So basically the first Step before you let go of the Bitehandle? Make sure to know how to do a Quickdraw! Practice by placing your thumb on the left side/edge of the handle, and slide it on top of it just as you begin the Quickdraw.
Uhhh i can do the y2k pretty efficiently but this one is throwing me for a loop. I land it sometimes but others not. Have no idea what im doing wrong lolll😢
Practice the Y2K, then try to do it in reverse. The roll looks exactly the same, just the direction should change. Once you got the catch down it's a matter of practice to get it down fluently.
i had a hard time learning this while watching other tutorials but this was really helpful and i figured out how to do it very quickly
A much better tutorial than anything else online. Simply amazing
Glad to hear that, thank you so much!

This edited like a trubute to someone who died 💀
Hey is your knife a real knife or a trainer?
It's a live blade
I cant figure it out how to turn my palm and land on my thumb like that and then spin it around my finger😭

@@balitutor523thanks and what do you recommend, what kind of beginner butterfly knife should I buy that is good quality and under $50
?
dam i got the part where you start to lose control of the knife but i keep grabbing the blade as well
That probably means that you are grabbing the handle too late, you can try to do a slower rotation.
Yeah I’ll try that
This helps a lot I just can’t figure out how to turn my palm
Well your palm always stays at the side of the knife, no need to turn it during the move... On which part do you struggle exactly?
@@balitutor523 i struggle on turning it to where it lands on my thumb

When I release it just jumps up instead of rolling around my thumb
My best guess is that you are either releasing the handle too soon, or you are opening it with too much force.

Ahh I think my knife is rotating left and right in my hand
I did start today like 6 hours ago tho so maybe I'll get better
any tips for this help
