it’s kind of puzzling to me that almost everyone knows what a butterfly knife is, but i’ve barely met anyone who was interested in balisong flipping as a hobby. i’m really glad that squid industries is making such a big impact on the community as well as bringing new people in. i only got into bali flipping a few weeks ago, and it might even be my favorite hobby. it would be super cool if #squid made some sort of tutorial on a maybe more dynamic and complicated version of the tf2 spy’s balisong flipping.
now that im thinking about it, me neither! I would love if some of my friends actually gave it a shot, the learning curve might be much for some people, but its really fun! And now my inked mako is coming in tomorrow and im so excited!!!

Can we talk about how #squid has a super unique design language? Like I just love how every balisong just fits into the same product line yet has so much character and elegance in the machining and design. I love how impactful all of the designs are and how innovative and creative these balis are! I truly feel like each balisong is a work of art even if they aren’t super exclusive. Amazing work!

Nice. 7th grade High School Art class. The Teacher needed a knife to open a box. Simple pull from my back pocket, simple opening flip. Handed to her, handle first of course... She thanked me. Now a days, I'd be in jail. Great videos. Amazing talent and knife builds.

i’m just gonna write this down to make sure i understand it. so i do a bt8b > whip rollover > rev thumb rollover > shortstop. that seems doable. if i learn the whip rollover tomorrow i should be able to get that combo down in under a week. edit one day later: i was WAYYY off. i’ll have it consistent by tomorrow.

I just got my first #squid balisong trainer just 2 weeks ago and I'm having a great time learning tricks through your videos! I am currently playing Team Fortress 2, which also has a character with a balisong in it, although the tricks may be a bit basic for their own video, especially when compared to these.

Currently none of my favorite games have balisongs which is a shame since I think they add a fun design aspect to a game and would make any character cooler but I still have a good time flipping anyway. Love all the tutorials you guys at #squid are putting out. They are truly high quality and are helping a lot of us flippers improve.

I just got my first #squid balisong trainer just 2 weeks ago and I'm having a great time learning tricks through your videos! I am currently playing Team Fortress 2, which also has a character with a balisong in it, although the tricks may be a bit basic for their own video, especially when compared to these.

Currently none of my favorite games have balisongs which is a shame since I think they add a fun design aspect to a game and would make any character cooler but I still have a good time flipping anyway. Love all the tutorials you guys at #squid are putting out. They are truly high quality and are helping a lot of us flippers improve.
