I don't think I've ever used front serrations in any normal plinking use. I think the front serrations just ruin the aesthetics on the Glocks, same with the beveled fronts on the new ones.
Thank you. This should fit any Glock 17 holster (it really basically is a G17 from that standpoint.). I tried it in two that I have for my G17 Gen4 and it worked and locked in place.
I’m sure everyone has already commented this below but Gen 1, 2, 3 have the smaller single recoil captive spring and smaller frame for fit and the gen 4 and 5 has the bigger dual captive recoil spring and bigger frame to fit it. Was cringing when u were slamming that gen4 slide onto the rare P80 frame 😖 good review appreciate the video!! 🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🔫🔫
Hi mate I'm in the UK as you probably know we don't get guns here. Looks a cool gun. If you don't mind can you tell me how much the gun costs please. If you don't want to say I will understand. Cool video bud 👍
We don't sell them - we just review them. The MSRP is around 700 but they appear to be selling for more right now given the interest in them and relative scarcity.
Thanks for replying. That's less than I thought it would be. Nice bit of kit to defend yourself with, although hopefully you'll never need to. Stay safe bud
Good Review The 17 Model 1st. Gen. Best Of All Models ( P80 now )/w Up-Grades Would Be My Choice. I Never Owned, Fired... Yes, Have Seen In Gunstore But Back In Those Days Laughable Because 'Plastic Guns' Did Not Stand-Up To " The Test Of Time " Until Glock Was Invented. Yup... I Used To Think That Way Because All My Water Pistols Trashed But Metal Cap roll Pistols Last Longer... Haha ha !
Only the Gen 5s and some specific Gen 4s (special runs) have the "Marksman Barrel" (which is a polygonal/standard hybrid). All previous generations are straight polygonal.
That is correct, the point was that you don't have to use old mags to use it. Because you cannot reverse the mag catch, any mag that will work in any G17 (including the Gen 5) will work.
I just got one for a Christmas present for myself and I love it.
Where did you get yours? I’m having trouble finding one
@@srtflacko they are hard to find only 10,000 made I got mine at my local gun shop they said they got 3 in mine was the last one they had.
The Gen 4 bump makes for a better trigger in my experience in that it keeps the sharkfin from walking sideways during pulling the trigger.
Excellent review, very helpful.

The glock p80 and taurus tx22 are my favorite pistols right now.
Great video and always great reviews!
Thank you.
I carry one of these every day
Good video
Thank you.
Everything old is new again.
Great video thank you....can you recommend a good holster for it.....👍🏻

@@HammerStriker Thank you very much for the help I really appreciate it greatly.. Keep up the great videos take care and be safe out there 👍🏻👏🏻
They're getting harder to find. I was lucky and found a brand new one in the bottom of the case at my local shop two months ago.

The magazine rip-out cut was not reintroduced on the 19X. It has a bottom front like the G26.

Thank you. The Glock proved 'em all wrong.
mine is a April 1985 BTM barrel
the p80 has a polygonal rifle barrel and the other gens have a marksman barrel not the same barrel

This P80 will work with any full sized 9mm Glock mag, not just the newer ones

I think its Cool.
Sounds good as Tupperware pistol.
Pass on this one for me
Excellent😴🔫👍
Thank you.
Looks like a g48 to me
I bought one but have not shot it.. it nicely tucked away in my safe😎
Mine too
I'll probably never buy one of these but this two-part review was still interesting given that Glock is the de facto semiauto standard.
Thank you.
