  • The Deckpad was out of stock on the Rad website when I bought my Radwagon 4. But they do ship the bike with a ton of packaging. For just a couple of dollars in fence board, straps, and vinyl covering I made my own seat for the kiddos. Radwagon 4 upgrades are super easy!
    Tools:
    Staple Gun
    Scissors
    Utility Knife
    Material:
    RadWagon Packaging
    Fence Board
    Fabric/Vinyl
    Double Sided Tape

Why not use the bamboo decks?

Nice work! How did you attach the new DIY seat to the rack?

I’m guessing 2 hole pipe clamps

I actually used straps. I didn't want to mess anything up. So just 1'' web strapping wrapped around the whole thing. One in the front, and one in the back.

nice work re-using the packaging! I ended up using an old outdoor chair cushion and packing tape. no complaints after 3 years! but time to replace.

Hmmm, anything for the kid to hold onto? I just did this, I used vinyl plank flooring, u really want the seat to be as thin as possible to make the bike stable and so the kids can reach the side platforms with their feet. This seems like a temporary solution at best.
