- Just £10 per adult, children free and affordable great food even before you consider the incredible artworks you can see, and even buy. The British Ironwork Centre really is worth a visit.
For full disclosure, we paid for entry and food and the venue had no idea we were visiting. The way we like it.

Thanks for sharing your excellent day out with us, 😊👍
Some real talent in those sculptures. The Rhinos nose raised my eyebrows especially.
What an amazing place. There are some truly talented people out there. Thanks for the tour 👍😁
What an amazing place thanks for the video recycling at its maximum
What an amazing place and the detail in the sculptures is incredible and the larger ones must weigh several tons I imagine. Never knew this place existed so thanks for the tour!
That place looks amazing. It's on my list of places to visit. Thank you for sharing it.
This looks a fantastic place to visit Ian and Carly. A real enjoyable video.
another great video has always Ian and Carly miss/mrs hubnut and hublets and hubmutt 👍
Driven past it a few times and wondered what it was. Now I’ve seen this I’m amazed. Looks great!
Ive driven past this place countless times and never knew how big it was! 14:03 Always thought the sculpture at the entrance was only a tempter, bever realised that there was so much more on a similar scale. Will have to visit next time im passing and have time.
What a amazing place....I'm blown away that is a must visit.........👍
Britain has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, most tourists only go to London. I prefer the more rural or the suburbs where you can visit a local pub, preferably one of the rougher ones. Greetings from Denmark and happy summer to you all.
I turned an old washing machine stainless inner drum into a fire pit and barbecue, the outer drum some sort of GRP, once the concrete vibration damping removed the carcass was a lot easier to transport to the recycling centre.
My wife does that with the old washing machines, she has made a few firepits.and sold a couple to friends.
That is a park where you can spend several days to see everything. It's amazing how they make these figures from all the parts.
My late mum lived up the road in Gobowen and had a huge collection of model Hippos. She would have coveted that huge sculpture 😂
Added to my bucket list of places to visit, some serious talent making these sculptures along with some very odd minds who think of them. To stuff. Many thanks for sharing.
Wow! Looks fantastic, thank you for sharing this place with us! Before my legendarily terrible memory fails me and in no particular order: 1) The enormous thing in the middle is from Gundam I think (only think that thanks to Ready Player One). 2) Honestly thought Anubis was 'A New Bit' 😂 3) The giant head looks like it wants Snozcumbers if you get the reference. 4) I was expecting to see King Julien on a cruise missile. 5) I may need to get my ears cleaned out 😋.
Absolutely brilliant video Ian miss hubnut ❤👍looks like a really great day out brilliant
The Knife Angel is currently on display in the centre of Southend, as I discovered this morning. It's beautiful and chilling at the same time.
Wow what a display of great pieces impressive. Great video Ian & Carly thank you.
That looks amazing. Shame we don't have anything like that in Northern Ireland
That is beyond stunning. What a totally amazing place.
Oh my gosh what an amazing place that is & so much that see it’s looks so interesting & informative too , well done on a great video 👍👍👍
Wow.Thanks Ian and Carly. Really enjoyed your tour around the site.
Absolutely fabulous, looks well worth a visit 👍
I drive past this place regularly on the way up to Gobowen - wondered what it was like - looks brilliant!
What an amazing place to visit!
Some stunning works of art there 😍
Carly must have been thinking, I know exactly where to take all the scrap from the unit.
Some relations of mine went a few years ago and it does look a incredible place to visit.
Now on my places to visit list
USED TO DRIVE PAST THAT PLACE ON MY WAY TO OSWESTRY HOSPITAL.....SADLY NEVER WENT IN
Pigs at the end had a hard day boozing. They are legless.
AY UP MR AND MRS HUBNUT
Looks like a really interesting place. Near Oswestry you say? Did you go to the OK Diner?
Not this time. Did last time we were this way (after filming buses).
Big Roosters are all the rage on this side of the pond for Yard Art like that stuff.... where I live this is called wither art or weird sh!t...one or the other, sometimes both. Enjoy the weird.
I clicked on this vidthinking it wouldn't interest me.... How wrong I was! They're fascinating!
Was enjoying this but again youtube puts 60 second ads after 5min every minute making it impossible to follow or watch. Sorry Hubnut but the greed of youtube especially with larger channel are destroying family frendly content like this. Especially as they are putting adult toys ads in content like this that children can watch.
Sorry to hear that. We're away at the moment so without my laptop, I can't adjust the frequency of mid roll ads. Wasn't aware they were showing that sort of content.
Thanks Hubnut I don't think it makes a difference on your side they seem to just put ads in especially on smart tv seen every 5min 60 seconds long on 30 min video, Certain times of day.
Plus it's youtube that needs to police the ads and put family frendly ads on family friendly content only.
This is why I caved in and went UA-cam premium, no ads at all :D
I hear some people use FireTV sticks and side-load the SmartTube app which apparently blocks ads, not that I would condone such a thing of course!
Where did you get your hat I want one
A charity shop in Aberystwyth.
Just goes to show what you can do with a welder and a load of old metal, though in a way does make me sad seeing some parts being re-purposed when they could have been used to restore something instead, but that's just me...
