  • I am so excited to share this conversation with you that Myquillyn Smith & I had about the intersection of personal style & home decor.
We discuss the importance of building a home style & a house that you love NOW even if it isn’t your perfect or forever home.
We also talk about shopping your house before shopping at a store, the importance of the “homey” trinity of rugs, drapes, and lighting, & why there should always be empty surfaces in your home.

I love seeing you both together. I have followed Myquillen before she ever told us her first name! I agree that both of you use the same principles, but I never realized it until today. Thank you for a great interview.

Great interview! I can’t wait to get her book tomorrow from Amazon. I am looking forward to working on my master bedroom this summer. I agree that similar style is often reflected in both our clothing and our homes.

Thank you for this wonderful interview. My daughter bought me one of Myquillyn books for Christmas a couple of years ago! Looking forward to reading this new book. I live in a 100yo victorian home also and she needs some fresh inspiration 😊

I have to laugh because in first grade I received a C on my report card in spelling, because I, too, had NO idea we were supposed to memorize the spelling of words. I just didn't understand!
