I want to know...was it extry to order the Clover Farms Dairy chocolate milk/Mountain dew dual fueled model? Will the occasional incentive make them robots work faster?🤣🙂🙃😂🐄🐄🐄🐄💩🐄🐄💩🐄✅️🪄🔮👀
Need to let you know Eric just how much your Fan Base appreciates the EXTRA time you give to us in explaining what You and Your Dad's plans are for the day, the EXTRA time spent camera placing so we Fans see what you see, AND we really appreciate you chatting to us as if we are all sitting at your kitchen table having a few good laughs at your hilarious Comedy Gold "Eric-isms"! 🤣 You both set the bar high when showcasing your work ethic. Amazing to see just how much progress is achieved from video to video! Always a bonus to have wonderful neighbors to lean on as they too lean on you all! Thank You from reminding me to always do my best and to help others when ever I can! MOO From Next Door In COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋
Good Morning From Northeast Mississippi-I’m a disabled retired dairyman and I really appreciate and enjoy all of your videos-I have never seen a robotic feed system work so I’m excited to see it working-This is not the same but I installed a computer feed system in January 1987 and it really saved on my feed cost plus each cow would get the correct amount of feed per the amount of milk she gave-Good luck with your new feed system-I hope it does what y’all need it to do-
It’s the forward thinking that you and your ancestors have obviously used to thrive and evolve in the world. We need more forward thinking people. I feel I’m close to your dad’s age Eric. Lived on a dairy farm in northern Indiana. Born in 1960. World population was a little over 3.1 billion. We are now pushing 8,000,000,000 less farmers more people to feed. Thanks to you and your family for all you do 💙
Smaller meals, more often makes sense. Loved your Dad's comment, too. You may want to throw down some Portland cement mix, rake it in, and wet it down around the workbench area. It will give you something solid if you drop any small parts. It won't hold up equipment, but you can stand on it. Just hand trowel it smooth after you wet it down. Cheap way to get a solid bit of floor, and won't be any trouble if you want to put concrete in later if you continue to use that as a shop. Great video!
Oh goodness ......I'm a 66 yo Aussie and in a past life I used to be a contractor with my own business installing STEEL STORAGE SHELVING !!!! .......watching that little bit of time lapse of you and your Dad actually pulling your shelving apart took me back 30 years !!! .......... same technique of hitting the shelves up off the clips ......... made my day seeing that ......
Spread a one quarter inch layer of portland cement over gravel dust, rake in and smooth out surface, moisten with light, even spray. Allow to set. This will accommodate foot traffic and light vehicles. It will eliminate the choking dust associated with indoor dirt floors. It will also provide a strong sub grade for future concrete application. Consult your concrete contractor for additional information. We refer to this as "soil stabilization".
Very cool to have the machines on the farm, and excited to see them in operation. “My replacements have arrived” from your dad😂😂😂. 7:06 I’ve never seen an enclosed trailer operate like that…also very cool!
I know that your income from videos is helping with the much needed farm upgrades. And I’m very sure your dad, mom, wife, uncles, aunts are all very thankful for the modernization that you are building. I’m very hopeful the feeding robots will make life MUCH MUCH better for you and for the cattle. God bless you all.
Remember when we put our pipeline in. My grandfather said it would be the end of him milking cows. At 75 he was the first one out of the milk house with two units. You will never be replaced
Hey,,,love what yer doing. Last dairy i worked on as the mechanic/field boss was 250 milking cows focused on genetics/production. Im truly enjoying the mechanical side. Thank you.
only thing with the new workshop floor being rock dust what if you drop a nut or bolt that you need and it just goes into abyss and never to be seen again lol keep up the good work man hard working men
What I used as a temporary floor in my dirt floor shop was thick horse stall mats. They also make gym mats that interlock. Also way back when I used treated plywood with 1x2 strips on the bottom of the plywood to screw it all together and I had stone under the floor to keep moisture off it. Hopefully that helps with some concrete alternatives and be able to have a sweepable floor.
So cool to see this farm grow through your channel! From when I started watching you has been such an amazing journey. And like you said, just seeing the robots on the property is making it so much more real. But the idea that you guys now run a solar powered robot dairy farm is so freakin cool hahaha 8:55 Nobody can replace pops on the farm. Might be an impossibility. Especially for some measly robots ahahha
So great hearing your dad say "My replacements have arrived" so comical. It is times like this and other times where your dad has done the filming that I wish my dad was better at communicating. And, also enjoy your dad's interaction with you and the camera. Very entertaining man.
The guy that delivered our Lely milkrobots drove them round our yard like he stole them on his forklift. Made me a little grumpy but they are working well 😆
You're getting closer to having the system up and running. Hopefully everything will go well, with smooth sailing all the way. Good luck and I hope you all have a great weekend, what's left of it!
Nothing or no one will ever replace Dad. He’s just getting a break after all these years. As far as cementing the new shop floor, wouldn’t it be easier to have it so you can scoot around on the creeper, etc ? Is this going to be a case of “would’ve, should’ve, could’ve” ? You’ve spent all this money so far. Wouldn’t it make life easier ? My bet is you’ll cement it at some point. That said, you must be very excited. Seeing this video was produced at the end of July, it’ll be neat to see how far you’ve come. Congratulations !
Looking good!! I wonder if you can use that "rock glue" or "gravel lock" type spray to lock in that stone dust to have a cleaner floor in the new workshop.
I think you definitely need a sweeper attachment for the skidsteer, I don’t know how the robots will handle dirt but it would definitely help clean the pathway and it can be used in general just for sweeping large areas, it seems like a good investment
I can only imagine the coast of all the concrete you poured for the passageways for the feeders; but I feel a little more for a substitute shop would be much better than crawling in the dust.
Its going to be exciting to see those robot feeders in action. I imagine you could find an example of them on youtube somewhere but I want to see them in operation for the first time on Eric’s channel.
Love all the work you guys have done. I don’t think you’re going to be happy with that dirt floor in your shop. Every time you drop a nut or screw (or whatever you’re working on), you’ll never find it!
Another great educational video. I wonder if you were able to sleep due to the excitement of your Robotic Feeders arrival? Looking forward to see how this setup works once completed. It’s foreign to me. Thanks for sharing & for the education.
I just started this video and you said, “we have a neighbor that has a rock crusher” and I mean yeah, who doesn’t 😇. That is too cool. You have great neighbors for sure, and they have a great neighbor in you guys. Love your project so much I look forward to your content 💯 percent of the time. Always best wishes. Keep the Faith.
Get someone with a concrete groover to cut the floor where the metal strip for the vector runs. It'll be flush with floor level and makes it easier to keep clean. 👍
Wow, I was pretty nervous seeing the mixer wobbling on the forklift after you got it off the truck they’ll be fine from now on😅🙏 Soon enough all yours fans will get to see this project come to fruition. And you will, also.
Well i didn't expect to have them look like that.. lol. All i could imagine was a robot like on the Jetsons !!! You might be too young to know what I'm talking about but it was a cartoon.. so exciting ... Can't wait for the next video.. see you soon!!!!! ❤️🙏🇺🇲
WOW! They’re much bigger than I expected‼️ I just want to respectfully note that stone dust may be an issue regarding respiratory health. The school board where I worked put it all around our school portables,(extra classrooms not connected to the school when enrolment exceeded our school capacity) and we all ended up with terrible bronchial illnesses. One older teacher got pneumonia and had to take an extended leave. Everything in our classrooms including our clothes was covered. It was even in our mouths like crunchy gritty sand. The issue was that the stone dust material was only for sub-grade applications and easily became airborne entering our lungs. It took parents calling the news stations and a huge kerfuffle to finally get it fixed with an oily sealant and an over-pour of gravel to cover the stone dust. Soooo, maybe wear your mask when you’re in there. I know it’s temporary and you probably have a plan but you work really hard and I can’t imagine the farm running very well without you and your Dad in good health 💕 Can’t wait to see the Robo-Cops …. I mean Feeders in action🍃‼️You and your family are Impressive Farm Evolutionists🍃
If you soak that stone dust with some water and pack it down, its gonna stop most of the dust and overtime your floor will be as packed as recycled asphalt!
8:55 “My replacements have arrived” love that! Hopefully your dad can take more breaks and enjoy a slight “retirement” while you take over. Need to do another Q & A with your dad and maybe your family. See some behind the scenes with merch and other stuff. Anyway, thank you and god bless you and yours!
You maybe should pour some concrete for your shelves and workbench to sit on so everything sits nice and level. Lots of progress happening for you guys.
I can’t remember if you have a power broom for the skid loader might be a item to review the robots path will probably need to be kept clear of debris, the driving over it with a gravel driveway and winter light snowfall ?
You will hate the stone dust. It will get in everything!!!! You will hate the new shop!!!! But great video!!!!! As always. You learn by doing. Or talkung to people who have been there before .
I understand budgets, but it just seems funny that the new shop location will not get concrete, with all the concrete you've gotten in the last few months. You'll be eventually putting in a floor. Thanks for this update. Looking forward to seeing the robots working.
you guys may need to get a broom for the skidsteer to keep the lanes clear. i dont know if you have tried to push something while walking on a dirt covered concrete all you do is slip.
"My replacements have arrived" lmao pops
He works that hard, takes two to replacement him.
I want to know...was it extry to order the Clover Farms Dairy chocolate milk/Mountain dew dual fueled model? Will the occasional incentive make them robots work faster?🤣🙂🙃😂🐄🐄🐄🐄💩🐄🐄💩🐄✅️🪄🔮👀
Awesome I'm excited to see the robots set up and working
Now you can sit on the porch and relax a little!!
No one or thing could ever replace you Pops. Cheers 🇨🇦

“ my replacements have arrived “ funny. My dad said the same thing when our milking robots showed up
Looks like Dad is being put out to pasture by a machine. He deserves some rest.
Loving how you are recycling as much as possible by crushing the concrete ❤
Loved " My replacement have arrived" 😂🤣

This is like the calm before the storm.... so much anticipation... ready to see these things work!
A broom sweep attachment for the skid steer could be useful for the amount of concrete drives now. 👍
I was thinking the same thing. Year round to, be good for brushing the snow off the driveways.
Really looking forward to seeing robotic feeders operational

Reuse of the concrete is a great idea. Exciting times on the farm for sure. Best of luck on your upgrades.
Eric, I can imagine the feeling seeinf the Robot delivered. I am happy for you. Easy does it. God bless you .

Looking like y'all's project is just about done. Congratulations to you and your Dad
I've said this before this farm is bench mark for organization 🐮🐮💯
Another addition to the farm to make things easier each day for you/ very interested to see them in action for you.
LOVE how neat and organized you keep your farm!

Will never be replacements only substitutes
this guy has the best community every neighbor owns a piece of heave equipment that you need.

Exciting day on the farm! Congratulations!

It’s coming along nicely!! 👍🏻👏🏻
Eagerly waiting for the end result of your new robotic mission,
your family farm is an inspiration to us,
Watching from kenya
They're bigger then i was expecting them to be
And I was expecting bigger
only thing with the new workshop floor being rock dust what if you drop a nut or bolt that you need and it just goes into abyss and never to be seen again lol keep up the good work man hard working men

Juno, Discovery, Vector; next robots will be Astronaut?
Not in the plans at this point
Gonna get real interesting watching this equipment installed and running
The guy that delivered our Lely milkrobots drove them round our yard like he stole them on his forklift. Made me a little grumpy but they are working well 😆
Congratulations on the progress and for bringing us along. I hope they exceed your expectations and make your jobs easier
You're getting closer to having the system up and running. Hopefully everything will go well, with smooth sailing all the way. Good luck and I hope you all have a great weekend, what's left of it!
Looking forward to seeing the project coming together.
Man oh man; so much prep work for each stage of his mammoth project. You always seem to find a way to re-use/re-cycle material…great job.
You guys are hard at work . Great job.
You all did the best thing in recycling the old concrete, Well done 👏.
Nothing or no one will ever replace Dad. He’s just getting a break after all these years.

A very exciting time on the farm!!! 🎉
I’m excited for you,,,how cool is this project!

Hey those look super cool! Can't wait to see them in action! Your Dad was funny with his comment😂
Very cool can’t wait to see them in action. You and your dad Needs a break once in a while.
Pretty cool! I work for Fisher and Thompson here in New York. I'm excited to watch this process !
I can only imagine the coast of all the concrete you poured for the passageways for the feeders; but I feel a little more for a substitute shop would be much better than crawling in the dust.
We had to draw the line somewhere with the spending. We can always concrete it in a year or two if we want.
I can't find the $donate button?...Eric...Eric?
Its going to be exciting to see those robot feeders in action. I imagine you could find an example of them on youtube somewhere but I want to see them in operation for the first time on Eric’s channel.
It's getting exciting on the farm!! God bless!
They look like Lunar Landers!
Need a smiley face on the front of those things or at least some eyeballs. 🤣
I love when ur dad do commentary 😂💪 love it👌
Love all the work you guys have done. I don’t think you’re going to be happy with that dirt floor in your shop. Every time you drop a nut or screw (or whatever you’re working on), you’ll never find it!
Your dirt floor shop brings back sum memories of working on stuff on one dirt floor also😢. Thanks sir!
now you need a brush attachment to keep the lanes clean
It’s awesome and incredible that they’ve arrived and the new silos are up and I can’t wait to see them run
Another great educational video. I wonder if you were able to sleep due to the excitement of your Robotic Feeders arrival? Looking forward to see how this setup works once completed. It’s foreign to me. Thanks for sharing & for the education.
I work for channel 8 and think we should do a story with you when the robots are up and running!
Eric, I’m very happy that you didn’t buy used robots!

Hope all that technology works out for you and the Winter is not harsh,

you had an old compactor ? I thought, ,that would make that stone dust like concrete in no time.....looks like your going to have good mouse habitat?
This is the only channel at 0:01 I click like 😎
I can’t remember if you have a power broom for the skid loader might be a item to review the robots path will probably need to be kept clear of debris, the driving over it with a gravel driveway and winter light snowfall ?
When I see you posted a new update....it's like Christmas morning.😊
I’m excited to see them working…
Have you guys considered buying a broom for your skid steer to keep the robots path clear? They work for snow too
You will hate the stone dust. It will get in everything!!!! You will hate the new shop!!!!
But great video!!!!! As always. You learn by doing. Or talkung to people who have been there before .
Not only one but two!!, crazy
Those robots need names
Thing 1
Thing 2
Its nice to have a packer for after you level out course aggregate.
I understand budgets, but it just seems funny that the new shop location will not get concrete, with all the concrete you've gotten in the last few months. You'll be eventually putting in a floor.
Thanks for this update. Looking forward to seeing the robots working.
Look really nice feeder
insane rig. massive wealth
I really can’t wait to see those robots working
8:53 Dennis sounding like something out of Orwells 1984
Good luck Eric!
Awesome video. Thank you guys
you guys may need to get a broom for the skidsteer to keep the lanes clear. i dont know if you have tried to push something while walking on a dirt covered concrete all you do is slip.
Work smarter, not harder.
These are the droids you are looking for.
