- We take the ferry across to North Stradbroke Island and spend a few days fishing, surfing, beach 4WD, whale watching and getting used to caravan life in preparation for a big trip coming in 202.

Wow your video are such great quality. Mate this video brought tears to my eyes. Its the great Australian life, a beach holiday with the family. We always went away just after Christmas and seeing you with your son on the boogie board just brought me so many memories. Enjoy it because they grow up quick.

We head to straddie every January.. The kids absolutely love it. Such a healthy family holiday!
Home beach, find a gutter and fish it 1 hr after high tide. You'll catch bloody 30 fish in an hour. Mainly butter bream, bream, whiting and dart (nothing massive) but the kids will love it. I've had luck with this tactic every year for the past 3 years

My kids are adults now but we still love to get together just like you and your young family and do exactly what you filmed. Really enjoyable to watch and as I`ve said before, brought back relatable memories !!

Love straddie. Can remember many times spent surfing and soaking baits with the old man. Sailing and Capsizing the lazer in the rainbow channel.
Love the change of pace with this one. It’s not always about the amount of fish you catch but the journey and adventures. Looks like a magic spot to visit

Amity Point would have to be one of the top Bream spots around in winter, wasn't uncommon for club members to get cricket scores there. Those black soldier crabs are a great bait, especially for Trumpeter and big Whiting.

Great video mate but you're wind direction information about sheltered spots is completely wrong. A westerly wind blows straight along adder's and cylinder's beach, probably the only spot on the east coast where it's unfavourable and main beach is completely sheltered from a northernly wind.
