This was a big trip for us over 13hours dive from Moruya to Brisbane with a puppy dachshund. The first beach camp for us and for the BIG 79 SERIES on the sand. Stradbroke is one amazing place and this video shows what it really is like living off grid and cut off by high tied .

Would be great to see you rather using a fire pit to ensure to leave the campsite clean for the next campers. If each camper made a fire directly on the beach sand it would make a very dirty campsite.
