    THANK YOU!!!!! Bought this rope because you gave it a good review and it is AMAZING. I have been jumping 8 years I am 5'11 3/4 and always had 9 ft ropes but when I found out that my wing span was that of someone 6'5 I got a 10ft rope from Punk Rope and I have always been a good jumper but some moves couldn't do. With this 10' rope there is nothing I cant do and I had a Buddy Lee Master that my daughter lost but thot it was just ok. So I took a stab at the long handle again when you discusses this one and I LOVE IT!! Thanks again!!!

    Thank you so much for always being so informative. You explain why you like a rope and what its best used for, etc. Because of u I knew I wanted a long handle rope. I knew I didn't want to spend the money for a buddy lee when I just ordered a a crossrope for Christmas and this was a cheaper option and I'm so glad I did. It arrived today and my footwork already looks so much better than my beaded and digital counting rope. I love it. Thank u for all the info

      Jump Rope Veteran cool. It’s kind of expensive but the speed is unreal. I think it’s what I was using in my UA-cam clip actually. I have noticed one downside, the swivel bearing isn’t long lasting or very smooth on both of mine. I’m 5’8 and the 8ft rope works great with the rope master and aero speed.

    Amazing Video,
    I started jumping a few weeks ago with the icon rope from rush Athletics. Its a great rope but it broke after 2-3 weeks of jumping outside without a mat. I think it is also my fault but I didnt want to buy another of them because of the high pricing so the elite srs will be my choice after this video😊 i have one question left. Is it possible to perform releases with this rope?

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  3 роки тому +1

      Johannes, it probably wasn't your fault that the RA rope broke. I think you were right to not buy another one. The EliteSRS is $25 cheaper and, from what I've seen, far more durable. You can definitely do releases with this rope! ➰💪🏾

    Are the handles designed in such a way that they don't shear off the cord from the tip of the handle?
    This is the main problem of many bad jump ropes. Considering it is manufactured by EliteSRS\buyjumprope, I would expect this one won't have this problem.

      Why should I not use it outside in cold weather why will it break

    • @djpickleballplayer
      @djpickleballplayer 4 роки тому

      Yusuf Husain The cold makes pvc cords stiffer. When you swing the cord and it hits the ground it can break. Happened to me a few times. Beaded ropes are good for cold weather.

    • @yusufhusain2736
      @yusufhusain2736 4 роки тому

      David Jerome at what temperature would you say is too cold to use it outdoors?

    • @djpickleballplayer
      @djpickleballplayer 4 роки тому +1

      Yusuf Husain hard to say. Definitely under 40 degrees is too cold. Maybe under 50. If you have a steel rope or a beaded rope I would stick to that under probably 50. Also, if you are going to the gym in cold weather you don’t want to put the pvc jump rope in the trunk. It will get cold in there and it can still break on you when you get to the gym. That happened to me, too. You want to put the rope inside the car so the heater will keep it warm.

    Thank you for this in-depth review! How does it compare to Rush Athletics Money Rope? I’ve been using the Money Rope for over a year now and I’m thinking of getting this rope due to the long handles. Please let me know!

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  3 роки тому +3

      I'm glad you enjoyed it, Alina. It's different from the money rope because the handles are longer and the cord is thinner. It also has a string inside the cord which I've found has helped with maneuverability and durability. I like this rope a lot more than the money rope, but it's tough to compare the two because they're used for different purposes, but personally, I'll take this rope over the money rope any day.

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  4 роки тому

      Awesome! It takes time with this rope. It takes a little while to break in and it's also lighter because the cord is thinner. Trust me, I know what you're going through. It happened to me as well when I tried to do double under crossovers for the first time. Try holding the rope at the edges of the handles and see if that makes a differences.

    • @JumpRopeVeteran
      @JumpRopeVeteran  4 роки тому +4

      George, great question. The knots are to shorten the rope and to provide more weight toward the handles so that I have a better idea where the rope is. This helps me when I'm turning the rope more quickly.
