I had my 3rd jab exactly 3 weeks before my daughter caught covid. So I actually haven't had it.
I let her choose whether to have the vaccine or not, and considering how mildly it hit, I don't regret.
We forced her to take the "travel vaccines", so hepatitis will never catch her.
We've tried having lung inflammation when in China, nothing can scare me anymore. She's good and alive.

Thanks a lot, we like the subjects you post. Here are our SUGGESTIONS: more outside filming while driving, and more about the Danes - maybe have conversations with Danes. Second, meet US or Canadians who also live in DK and film conversations with them - about their likes and dislikes of living in Denmark, Manga tack :)
Happy birthday. My ANY time best birthday was the 50th. We have been married 37 1/2 year in February. Talk about feeling overwhelmed of how fast time has flown by.
I have no wishes for things to see. I just enjoy your perspective on my little "sugar bowl" country. I see a number of problems but also where other countries could learn from us. If something pops up in my thoughts I'll let you know.

You have A LOT going on girl! 2 kids at home with corona... 😳 you have my sympathy. I had my 19 year old home from work due to covid and it nearly drove me crazy. He is back to work again now! 👏

I live in San Diego CA and work with the Sheriff's Dept. Crime is NOT slowing down but we have staff out with covid so we are BURIED in excess work!! We will all get through this tough time as before, so hang in there Kelly! BTW do you live near Viborg? I have a good friend in Viborg and plan to visit her in 2022 (when possible).

Hi Kelly! Wishing you a Happy Birthday!! So glad you were able to spend time with your USA family recently. Seems doubly special in a pandemic;). You are so lucky to be living in Denmark. I have always felt so safe when visiting there. Now, we not only have the gun issues but people that refuse to wear masks or get vaccinated;( uggh! I still want to move to Bornholm but hubby says I will suffer because I am such a people person and the Danes keep to themselves. For future podcasts; I would love to see towns within Denmark (maybe Billund) ? Also, I would like to hear what you are able to eat since you are a vegetarian and you are in the land of meat:) Wishing you all the best in 2022-
Yes. You would need to be around a lot of foreigners if you are a people person. It takes most Danes years to get used to foreigners. I have a video about Billund! You should check it out. Yes people in the coutryside are more reserved, but people in Copenhagen are much more relaxed.😊
I have friends in Seattle and family in Adelaide who are health care workers, in the last two weeks they’ve all caught covid from patients :/ This variant seems really contagious:/

I'm not sure I'm the best person for that. I am one of the least romantic people you could ever meet. LOL Most of the time, we don't celebrate Valentine's Day since we moved to Denmark. :) Things were different when we were younger and living in the US.
My corona was a Happy holiday with a bit of flu symptoms… not seriously bad. Fixed a lot of things at home and in My greenhouse. Feed the birds and chickens enjoying the blue sky😉 life is easier, when it is over… no tests, just the mask and 2 meters distance when shopping.

In my hometown in the Philippines we have 400 active cases alone so travel is difficult. The government now is having stricter travel rules between provinces, cities and islands. Public access to boats, planes and public vehicles is difficult if people are not vaccinated.

I'm curious about American vs Danish gender roles.
I have dated an American girl about 10 years ago, and I feel that the American guys I met have a need to be a bit more "macho".
Also in terms of who does the cooking and washing Ect.

I’m just ending my 1st “contact quarantine”. The contact was my 8 yr old nephew. We were eating outside, but he then got on my lap, as is normal, without his mask up. We’re all vaccinated. They think vaccinated people give off less virus, and me being boosted probably helped me out. So far, even his mother hasn’t caught it. His school shutdown due to the high Covid numbers this week.

Greetings Kelly... mange tak for the updates. "Knock on wood', I've stayed away from getting infected with the Corona virus. However, like yourself, I know quite a number of people who are (or who have been infected). Here in this little part of the world, people tend to follow the rules and wear masks inside public settings.
I personally know of a case where an older lady, originally from Denmark, who lives here in this community, has been infected with the Covid-19 virus twice. This person had received her vaccinations but still was infected.
