I like the old tv intro. Sick.
With bushings a lot of times they need a break in period before tightening them much past flush nut. They often end up hardening up nowadays once you spend a couple hours on them. Sometimes just gotta accept a wobbly weird first sesh or two before they hit their proper resistance. Ace af1 bushings especially. They were hardly there on my first few sessions, now they feel springy and cushiony with good snap to center. You can always just hit some stationary turns back and forth standing on your board at the house tho to get them worked in ahaha.
Killi ripping and Seth is gonna find the stoke

I set up all my boards with the Bones Hardcore bushings. The Medium bushings go on the front truck. The Hard bushings go on the rear truck. Try that and feel how the trucks respond with one another. I don't ride switch so this set up is perfect. I tightening them to about flush nut. Hopefully this helps and saves much time.

Another great video. At 12:42 that weird shuffle he was getting looks like the beginnings of a natural powerslide to fakie. I haven't seen much footage of yall skating anything but lines in the bowls, which yall are killing btw, and no fakies, but he might dial that in on a bank or something, I bet he would dig it. Anyway, just an observation from a Monday morning keyboard skate coach. lol

Look like some Stage 4 reissues with the new inverted kingpin baseplate! I recommend Stage 4s to everyone! Looks & turning of Ace, with 💪 of Indy or AF1s

I am getting by with (2) 1/8” riser pads, one shock pad and one ace riser pad, with 10”’Ace trucks and 58mm cubic nanos with no wheel bite. That is my favorite combo

The purple metal topped Khiro business are the hardest. I used them before switched to Film Trucks. Now I use Film Trucks hard bushings.

    I had this same experience.
Ace just don't work the same, even tho they're an old Indy design. I use 92a Indy bushings (no top washer) on all my setups, but in the Ace Classics i had to crank the kingpin down more AND get used to a different kind of turn. Took a while to get used to 😅 I can imagine how hard of a time you're having, preferring tighter trucks 😏 U were on the right track switching to harder bushings, but Ace just duzn't always cooperate lol.

My rule is if I don’t like skating it brand new I don’t like skating it. Doesn’t mean it’s not good product but if I have to break it in or tinker with it, 😂 than I don’t consider it for me. Took me a while to figure that out and that makes my skating more consistent and less stressful.

Another issue I forgot to mention on the Indy inverted kingpin: i had to tighten it down a lot more than i anticipated to get them to my liking. In fact, i was never able to get them truly adjusted to my liking. I gave up just got used to my trucks being a bit looser.

If Seth is not feeling it after a while, im going to say something blasphemous but ask him if he would rather a trick scooter or to bring the bmx.
Its still time with you ,
My yongest is preferring her scooter of late but no pressure to use her board but it comes with and she has a crack at both.
She is 8 going on 9.
I both bring our quads too and if i had a little bmx , shit id be giving it a crack as i had a go on a young blokes bmx last year and forgot i use to be good at this.. lol
    It was fun .
As for my daughter, she dosent love bikes and only sees them as transport,
She wont drop in on her quads even though she has been skating all 3 for 3 years but a drop in on quads is hairy , your just stepping in to the bowl with wheel strapped to your feet , some times the other foot dosent follow as well as it does on a board and or scooter.
Im not touching her scooter though... lol
I dont know why but they freak me out more and she loves the new grown up scooter she got for Xmas. Its a adult weight rated trick scooter 😎

Ace hanger and an Indy baseplate is pretty much a Slappy truck, no? Also DohDohs has a 100a bushing kit if you need a harder bushing. Happy Easter Roman!!!!✝️🙏🏾

oh my lord you should never have to go uggg when you use a tool on any part of the board. its not a 490 structural bolt thats been snapped lol cmon big guy you should know that by now. everything snug 1 full nut and a thread minimum to many or to little threads something is probably not right or the hardware is to long. you shouldnt have to put any real muscle into any of it.i semi ruined a set of grind king baseplates by messing up the nylon in the nut in the base plate. if you tap them you mess the nylon up and lose your pin. that wasnt my fault lol
