- I think it is almost always a wonderful thing to combine l'hoest monkeys with gorilla's. And this video is proof of it. They like to play. I hope you'll enjoy another video of tiny silverback baby Kiango ;P!

He is such a determined and spunky little guy. At one point it looked like he was showing his bicep 💪🏼 muscle to a very unimpressed mangabey.🤣♥️♥️♥️
“Come chase me!!” Kiango is having SO much fun with the mangabeys - it’s just beautiful to watch. I think my favourite moment was when he did the BIIIIG jump off the log - the smile on his little face after that was priceless! He’d ran over to mama as if to say “Did you see me? Did you see how far I jumped?” He’s such a little treasure❣️
I love how much room he has to run around and play. He’s so dang cute. I wish other zoo’s would do the same for their gorilla families.

I love the way kiango plays. He just wants to be chased & have fun. He is the most loving & mellow little gorilla I've seen so far...I wonder what he will be like when he becomes a silver back.
Adorable. Kiango has a quite big head. That's why he resembles a human toddler so much. Similar type proportions.

I think it’s wonderful that little Kiango has two monkeys to play with. Ringo and Jabali have two muntjac deer but I believe pitting your skills against fellow primates is better! Go Kiango ❤

Thanks! I'm very aware of what I post and what I can start with some clips. My channel is about how beautiful they are and how important it is to also keep them alive in the wild. My channel is not for discussion or negativity. I work very hard for it, so thanks for the big compliment. I find it hard to read there are so many negative comments about the dutch girls Tayari and Iriki. They're young but they do very good as first time moms ;)!

BaoBao has 2 white hairs on his stomach. Is it because of his age? I hope he is healthy and happy ❤️
BaoBao has a heart condition, they're keeping it under control with medicine and they watch him closely. He is in wonderful hands ;)! He misses a bit of hair on his stomach because they shaved it for medical research for his condition. He does seem to look happy, also interacts sometimes with his first born Kiango ;)

@@LiekesShotOfLife I do hope BaoBao has other children soon. Maybe oneday, one of them will come back to Taiwan. I don't think he will come back to Taiwan oneday if he has a heart condition.
@@chunyu5476 Maybe, but I don't think they would send him back. The travel would be hard on him and he is getting older and he came with a purpose ;). so let's hope he gets more kids soon indeed and that he feels well!

You always do such interesting work, and the music you pair with your videos is wonderful background 👍. With other videos the music is so over the top, I turn the sound off so it doesn’t distract. I especially love the playfulness between the toddler Gorilla and whatever kind of monkeys they share a space with. You really showed us his personality and it’s so endearing. Thank you very much! I’d never be able to travel from zoo to zoo but I’m so glad you’re able to take us there vicariously. We’re you always interested in the Great Apes, or did you develop an interest in college… what brought you to this degree of observation? It’s completely in keeping with the female tendency to study or teach or spend a lifetime observing and living among them.

Everyone has a different preference of music ofc. Gorilla Kiango is playing with L'Hoest's monkeys in this video ;). Beautiful to see the interaction and character of all of them. They're all lovely individuals.
My love for animals in general was always there since I was little. But for great apes it grew over time. They amaze me with their ways of living, communicating and social interactions. Ofc they have a lot in common with us but their also different in lots of ways. Almost every time I visit a great ape and observe them for some time, I notice new things (new behavior). I absolutely love that.

King KI doesn’t Really have a Silverback 🦍 to teach him the necessary things. His dad BAO BAO seems NOT to be in the best of shape or condition 😢

Kiango has been walking around with Moto and Mojo so much that even his b-hole became white.
