Hey, I've got a leak in my power steering hose and I'm looking to replace. Do you recommend I stick with OEM or spend a little more on a k series hose instead? Great video 🤙
In my opinion, you might as well go with the k series since the quality might be better compared to the OEM since they're made to resist hotter temperatures than usual. But those are just my speculations ahah
@@NielVTEC I just did this job on my car and the bottle of power steering fluid cost me 20 bucks for my honda do yeah it hurts to do it your way lol but still works great video
hey.. which is the return hose ? i'm researching for a way to drain it and i really like that method of removing the return hose and using a barb hose leading to a drain pan to collect the flushed fluid while i fill up and turn wheel progressively.. but which is the return hose? the one that connects straight to the pump and stays on the bracket of the reservoir? or the one next to the reservoir bracket for the other hose that leads down to the metal pipe ?
Stay smooth like your skin NielVtec ;)

What fluid brand u use?
I used Kleen-Flo, but it honestly shouldn't matter as long as you're using the right one for your car!
What a waiste of fluid, why not just pull the return hose off the resavour and flush it thru there ?
That's definitely the way to go! But this way is more doable for the majority of the population and there's less mess
