Hey mate i have problem where most of the stats in your custom view are not appearing such as np-xg/90. Some stats are but most are not. I have tried loading them from the "customize current view" menu but they are not even appearing in there. I would says its about half the stats are nowhere to be found. What's strange is yesterday they were all there. Do you have any idea what the issue might be? Cheers
@@harryyes1527 that’s really unusual I’ll take a look again but that shouldn’t happen. I would fully delete them ( from the drop-down quick menus too )l and try to reinstall them but thanks for letting me know
Mate im so glad I found your channel. I've been so demotivated to play FM these past couple of years because I feel like my saves are very similar. This is so interesting to watch. I have to try this when I feel like I've got the hang of it. Please never stop uploading these!!

It may be too late, but have you consider not searching for position? Especially in attacking roles the understanding of the position might not be that important, especially since they will learn it quickly. I think it makes sense in the moneyball gameplay to try and search for players who are being underused because they aren't quite playing in their correct position. Btw love the series, both this one and the academy, the level of detail you go into is amazing

Loving the series so far! Such an interesting way to play the game. One thought is that you tend to not sub your CB's even when their fitness is low. Definately need another CB, even if its just to help with their fitness levels. Keep up the good work!
Great episode and amazing series! Instant sub :) A question regarding signings. Shouldn't you take into account the age of the potential signings somehow? Their resale value (at least) should be affected by their age.
Thank you! Yes It’s a consideration but it’s also about value. If you’re going to get a player who’s statistical output is what you need and it contributes to the statical average and the value of the transfer is good value for the stats, then we buy stats. We buy stats and numbers not players. Obviously if they’re young they should have good resale value and that’s taken into account and is also a important part of the scouting/recruitment process but it’s not the only part. I don’t know if you’ve seen the film Moneyball but they reference this with the addition of David Justice where Billy Beane says the phrase “ I don’t pay you for the player you used to be, I pay you for the player you are right now” indicating the money spent on him for his current statistical output was very good value despite him being at the end of his career & the perception of the league that he was finished as a player.

Well, that's a good start, hahaha. Just a quick question, have you thought about making physicals visible? Like, it's not hard to get data on who's faster or not. Be that during training or in game. A "fastest sprint" or "topspeed" stat would be a decent alternative but lacking that I think that things like speed, acceleration and strength should be visible.
Yes it was haha almost too good to be true ! The first goal was unreal! It's been mentioned before. People could do that if they wanted sounds like a interesting idea, but for this series I'll keep everything hidden.
@@TheCultofFM I’ve chosen Grenoble, I wanted to start in the same league as you but with another team, chose them at random pretty much… I’m sure once I’ve got my tactic tweaked and a couple of players I shop o be fine but there might be some tough times in the beginning lol 😂
Thanks mate for the first part, For the second part I'm doing 2 series that are both in depth and I work a full time job. I mentioned last week I was away so it was a little slower but the plan is to have these out every other day

Will have a think on what teams could do with a new recruitment approach and get this fired up soon. P.S - When it comes to the end of the season, is there a way to keep player stats? as I know that the game wipes them after a certain date

Yes make a new save file right after your last game So Burton is my normal save file for example After the last game of season 1 = Burton Season 1 then re-save over the Burton file, then continue as normal After the last game of season 2 = Burton Season 2 then re-save over the Burton file, then continue as normal You can export the data too but I will more then likely just use this method for this series.
When it comes to recruitment - instead of recruiting based off your own players why dont you do it based off the best performing player in the league? for example, if im end of season and promoted to the championship, and looking for a striker, I'd look at the top performing striker in league one to get my stats for, instead of a striker at the club. If that makes sense? Obviously you're the expert here, so unsure if I'm missing something!
In my next episode I explain that it's not how I would normally do it but it works for this window & this current situation because of where we are in the league. We're top of the league and my players are playing my style of football so I have those variables eliminated this way. It's likely my players are the best performing players especially Morgan as the striker. Next season if we go up we will likely take 3 mid-table teams stats and create an average for us to search for!
@The Cult of FM, at 7:25 you said you gonna copy Morgan's stats, I am curios do you have to copy every stat by yourself like input the numbers or you can select specific player and copy his stats? tnx

Yes make a new save file right after your last game
So Burton is my normal save file for example
After the last game of season 1 = Burton Season 1
then re-save over the Burton file, then continue as normal
After the last game of season 2 = Burton Season 2
then re-save over the Burton file, then continue as normal
