Hi Julie, we've talked before. Can you help me figure out how to identify and order key blanks to have an extra key made for the hide-a-key box, like you installed. My local locksmiths do not have the TriMark key blanks for our 2020 Entegra Qwest. Thank you, Tim
Never had to order one, came with 3 but with that said, try emailing directly and include your unit number (specific to your unit, usually LZ38965 something like that) and I bet they can get for you……motorizedservice@jayco.com. They have helped me out on rv blue prints etc.
Hi Julie, I just wanted to add that I was able to have duplicate keys made after finding a site called "Easy Key". I ordered the TriMark keys using the number stamped on the originals and they worked perfectly! BTW, Jayco was no help at all.
Julie we sure appreciate your top notch videos! We have a 2019 quest 24L and they have been very helpful! Thank you! Any chance you might be doing one soon on when arising D when arising and sanitizing? We're trying to be more self sufficient but having a hard time figuring out the plumbing configuration based on Jayco owner's manual.
Yes, we have several technical videos coming up, be sure to subscribe. Also join our exclusive Entegra Qwest Facebook group, facebook.com/groups/1548272788715474/ 👍
We have the same exact Qwest 24L that you do except that we have a diesel gen. We have just bought the 2020 with only 8000 miles and are loving it. We are really enjoying your videos and incorporating many of your ideas. I do have a couple of questions please-On the compartment door, I’ll order the bracket but, can I use the original gas strut? We have a set of 6 Flo Thru TST’s and 4 of the smaller. I too did not like the Flo Thru’s and will probably buy two more of the smaller ones. We had a class A and towed a Honda CRV. Wife does not want to tow but, I do. What do you tow and how has that worked out? Are those 6 Volt AGM’s under your step and do I have to worry about the original charger working for the AGM’s? Thanks, Ken and Teddy
Yes, you just need to order bracket, see link above, took a few minutes to figure out how it attaches and you can use your other door as a guide, bracket will clip on to strut. We have a set up for a tow of a two door Jeep and we have towed it a couple times. But to be honest we are actually trying to learn to camp without towing since this RV is pretty easy to move around. I think if we go to like the Sierra Mountains or areas where we might not want to drive the motorhome up to go hiking that we might tow the jeep. Yes you can just switch out your 212 V batteries and go with the six full AGM. You don’t really need to change anything else as it is compatible. I do have the Xantrex inverter and when reading the control panel that I put in I did have to switch that to read AGM. This is our seventh Motorhome/trailer, and we are doing a lot to this one to make it our own instead of always changing them out! But we’ve learned a lot along the way!
