More than Words was my entry into 'niche'. It completely blew my mind, and nothing has been the same since.
Love this list! Penhaligon’s Uncompromising Sohan is my favorite Oud/rose combo currently. Very sexy with a certain something that separates it from the crowd.

when you talk 'oud,' you're talking my language! with the exclusion of multiple oud/rose perfumes that we have in common, i'd very much like to make mention of several favorites of mine: "Oud & Rose" by Cartier (by the amazing nose Mathilde Laurent - 9 ouds currently in this series with number 10 to be announced and launched within a few weeks from now), "Oud After Dark" by Amouroud, and "Dead Of Night" by StrangeloveNYC. thank you, Joao, for another terrific video.

OMG Oud Palao is one of my FAVORITES. And of course Rose D’Arabie I adore. There is something fantastic about the rose in it.
That was the perfect timing. I'm really longing for oud fragrances lately. I enjoy Oud bouquet, the Bewitching Yasmine, the Uncompromising Sohan and Oud rosewood. Mr Bojnokopff's purple oud and Cacique are too other oud fragrances that I really enjoy and these ones smell really natural to me (without being too expensive or too skanky / animalic)

Ohhh damnnn look at the list...testing oud/agar wood scents for over 4 years now def love Indian oud and Thai oud its more sweeter smelling and not as barnyard/skanky..such a heavenly scent..having the rose nacree du desert 2015 edition oh the rose note is so great such a beautiful scent. Wish I could find another bottle

I really dislike Satin Mood for some reason but I adore Silk Mood.
For me Santal Royale smells a LOT of sandalwood- or the aspect of it I love anyway and anchored with oud. And not like dill as in Santal 33 or Santal Musc. And speaking of sandalwood- have you tried Santal Wood by Theodoros Kalotinis? So incredible. It’s very classy. It was a bit difficult for me at first but now I’m smitten and wearing it today. I think you would love it!! Lastly I wanted to tell you I picked up that Rassasi Indonesia oud because of you. When I was choosing my scent today I sprayed a little on one hand and that one is also making me very happy right now!! Can’t wait to wear that again soon. One more thing- have you tried Malesia?

Hello my friend. I love you video and just curious for one question. Have you ever tried the Penhaligon Cairo? If yes then how would you compare the Cairo to the Sohan? Are they similar? Or different?

you should try Rose Wood by Arabian Oud The main fragrance notes are Wood, Rose, Water Scent mixed with Vanilla, Cedar and Musk
I like this combination, nice list. E. Zegna-Indonesian Oud is missing I think.

Best rose ouds you can find either in Middle East brands or Boadicea at the moment. Nemer/Dasman/Carbon Sapphire to name few, get one of those and you don’t need anything else anymore 😛

1000% Boadicea does rose oud in so many different ways the best house by far IMHO also Torc/Almas amazing. Santa royal is to die for!
My love for Dasman may be never-ending. Nemer and Carbon Sapphire are fantastic too.

Have you tried any rose/outs by Roja Parfums? There is Aoud, Amber Aoud and also United Arab Emirates. If you tried them, you might change this list a bit I think. Thanks for your video. Cheers from Australia.

Santal royale is ok, but Oud essential is much darker and superior. It is my signature scent.
What about monotheme rose oud? It is cheap and similar in quality to many expensive niche perfumes

Rare, very precious and unknown in the niche perfume world Oud Rose by Eeric Buterbaugh. but Also an amazing one from Michel DURRIEZ W/OOD ROSE

Just get the 7,5ml. That will last you plenty if you save it for special occasions
Try arabian oud rosewood its heavenly. A cheap version of IT is afnan gold.
Have you tried kilian Pearl oud? It leans more on the oud
No, never had the opportunity to try that one
i've sampled (i think) all the Kilian 'oud' perfumes (now all discontinued), but i thought that they all smelled very watered-down... with the two exceptions that i own: "Love - Special Blend 2020," which is not extremely different from the original, and "Straight to Heaven - Oud & Musk - Special Blend 2021" which is amazing and i adore.

Have you ever smelled Habit Rouge EDP, preferably the version before they went to the red cap? I think it would fit this category- rose/oud.
The oud and rose are definitely blended in with lots of other notes- citrus, florals, woods leather and resins- but it’s a beautiful creation

Great fragrance, but I prefer Oud Palao
Saffron absolutely destroys so many of these leather-rose-oud fragrances for me. The note turns into a crunchy, bitter and sour metallic note that overrides all the others in a blend if it's not handled with great care. But that's just MY skin and MY taste; some people might crave that metallic tang. Still hunting for my perfect dark rose-oud masterpiece. Thanks for this video and your channel is great, much enjoyment.

Oud Palao - amazing? Rose? Tobbaco leaves? Changes? Tried Sample before and today - linear smell, doesnt change on me untill the end.. just Strong dark sweet honey scent and oud somewhere 10 km away says - Hello, I'm also here. Thats it. Thats it :) which rose who can smell, I'm surpriced. For me nothing amazing here :)
