Love seeing the age gap. Preteen kids and seniors all playing together and having a great time. We need more of that these days.
now more than ever!
i guess im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?
I somehow lost the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Jad Barrett instablaster ;)
@Reuben Armani i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm.
I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Reuben Armani It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much you really help me out !
This need to happen every year. Image what it would be like to have the wolrd playing to the same beat in harmony. Music is love
Music is balance, Music is life.
With not a care about age, etc., these 2,000 timekeepers gathered to share their passion for rhythm.
How anyone can get this many people synchronized is a miracle !
Just goes to show what humanity can accomplish if we work together. 😎🤙
It’s like a giant drum orchestra. Cesar from Golden Earring was the conductor, and there were several sub-conductors to help keep specific groups of people in check.
Is it weird that this makes me extremely emotional? 😅 This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen!
it's primal, down to the deep roots. hit me in a similar way. welcome to "weird"ness.
same with me watch Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall - 400 musicians rock flashmob - CityRocks cover (official)
No, my band, orchestra, jazz etc. teacher was a percussionist...I developed a deep love for percussion...it's primal.
I miss my teacher.
God bless you Michael Wells 🎶🙏
No not at all, I was actually smiling the whole way through & was like WOW that was truly a special thing to watch
Drums and vibrations go way way back deep into our dna
Vibrations actually heal done correctly x 🤘
It’s amazing what goes on around the world and if not for UA-cam you wouldn’t see it 👍👍👍👍
Victor, very well said!!!
Victor I concur 👍👏👏👍
So true
@aaron anderson soooooo"VERY STUPID I THINK THEY SHOULD WATCH DINAGYANG" ALSO HERE IN UA-cam, DINAGYANG FESTIVAL ARE ALSO USING DRUMMS, AND IT IS CELEBRATED ON THE PHILIPPINES IN ILOILO CITY EVERY FOURTH WEEK OF JANUARY YOU WILL NOT BE FELLLING BORRING IF YOULL SEE DINAGYANG FESTIVAL.
@@robertod.sangalanjr.2343 No offense, I think that DINAGYANG is a great Festival but it is much more ethnic, traditional from the Philippines than this, I was there years ago and I could only participate as a spectator. Both are interesting in their surroundings. However, particularly I would like to participate in a "FOUR HORIZONS", without acrimony, and it is because I feel more identified, I have been a drummer for more than 30 years, that is, since I was very, very young.
In the end, sharing with people you hardly know and who have similar love for percussion is really wonderful and musically enriching. Have you done something similar ..? feel every drum beat in the chest, heart and head live is an unique feel
As a percussions player ( g7 though g12) watching this made me emotional. A lot of people think percussion is the easiest position in band when in fact it’s one of the most challenging and important part. As a percussionists you not only have to know your music but that of the entire band. As a percussionist it’s your job to give rhythm balance and structure for others to follow. A lot of times a percussionist will have to improvise
I have always loved the sound of drums, of all sorts ! Never learned to do it. That was my younger sister. But there's something primal about it, tribal maybe. It certainly brought THIS tribe together-and beautifully!
riddim
the ego on some people lmfao...
try playing the saxophone one day.
@@agnidas5816 I can only play guitar and even I know that the percussionist is the one to lead the band, so yeah it's important. But about difficulty for me personally both drums and sax seems difficult lol.
"A lot of people think percussion is the easiest position in band" no one thinks that. Everyone knows bass is the easiest position in a band.
This is what it is all about. Coming together no matter the age and having a wonderful time. Love this.
It is priceless to see their smiles and their happiness! This is going to be the most memorable day for those children who participate on this event!
From very young children to the older folks, it seemed to be special for all involved. Great to see.
What a bunch of happy drummers, they all had a smile on their faces.
This is one of the most beautiful and amazing things I have ever seen... so many people doing something like this in unison touched my soul.
That is absolutely the coolest thing I’ve seen....wish I could’ve been there....everyone of those drummers had a smile on their face.....you’ll never see guitar players having this much fun ! 🤘🏻
Hammer geil krass
Why disparage guitar players? Completely different.
@@nadogrl correct question - i often feel reminded of little children in the kindergarten, arguing fiercely about the question who´s mother is the most beautiful woman in the world...
i´m a hobby drummer and in this context i have one special memory from my early days of drumming in the 70s - we sometimes would play on tiny open airs with other hobby bands - one time i was suddenly facing a very serious looking man, wearing a long dark leather coat, flanked by two other guys in the same outfit and they were heading straight at me - felt exactly like high noon!
anyway, he came up to me and said: "i heard you´re good - well, we´ll see about that!" turned around and left me...
hmmm, what the f....antasy??? i managed to handle it quite well: when we met by the "stage" (usually some farmer´s trailer), i suggested to put our drumsets side by side on that stage - we did that and he wanted to battle it out - but somehow i simply wouldn´t let him, i kept smiling at him, making fun and at the end he couldn´t help smiling himself and it slowly turned into a fun session without loser or winner... :-)
we didn´t become friends exactly, but also not enemies, which i find really nice and i´m quite proud of that... :-)
Ohhh, HELL YEAH!!! They rocked da house!!!!
I'm primarily a guitarist but I do percussion too. I notice no discernable difference in enjoyment between the two. They're mostly very different. Sure, there's rhythm guitar that follows the same lines as percussion but going ham on guitar and going ham on drums gives me the same amount of enjoyment. Some of the most memorable times I felt completely at peace was playing guitar and I had a perma grin the whole time.
Unfortunately, I was forced out after some dude with a fancy college degree showed back up. I'd been leading music for over 15 years (half my life at the time) and all it took was his fancy college piece of paper for everyone to forget what I'd contributed and mostly never got paid to do for so long. And I haven't touched any of my guitars since 2017. It was devastating. He put me on djembe and ordered me around like I was trash right before I was totally forgotten about. I played it so much trying so hard to impress him just so I could stay around that my hands were one solid bruise. Wasn't enough and into the trash bin I went.
I miss it. Haven't felt peace, assurance, and pure joy ever since. But it's better not to be where you're not wanted or appreciated anyway. Took me years to get ok with that.
I still stand by teaching myself guitar and not putting myself into a box by making it a college driven career. If I'd gone to college for it, all the creativity would have been drained out of me. I can read chords but not music but I also play, or at least, played by ear and added whatever flare was needed when it was needed. Those times will still be forever special to me.
Just wonderful to watch these people come together, having fun. This is a welcome change, and should go viral. Gifted people, we are being blessed, so moved my soul. ♥️♥️🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yes!! And we thanks so much!! Godbless. Amen 🙌🙏💕💕😇
It's this kind of thing that brings a happy tear to my eyes. People being together making amazing things happen for good.
And having their children participate!
The entire drum crowd and spectators were having a great time. I love the energy.
I am totally blown away with the dedication, time, effort and, of course, money put into this drumming extravaganza and as a bongo player for close to 70 years I absolutely LOVED every moment of it for music and rhythm is the glue that brings everyone together. 😊
Awesome 😎😎 bring it all together at the end , Nimbin bong go players your awesome
Drumming!!!!!!.......The heartbeat of the world.♥️♥️♥️
Wonderful dialog between all 2.000drumers & drums!!! Wonderful concert-manifestation!!!
WoW this is incredible, powerful, amazing. a country without a shortage of Drummers lol, this is so cool on so many levels, you can see how truly happy everyone is. it's true, music is the universal language of all peoples all over the world. Wonderful.
Wat een optreden.Wat een vreugde voor zoveel mensen ,van jong tot oud.We komen dit soort pret in Nederland te kort.Kom op en organiseer maar raak.We worden er vrolijker van.
Spectacular!!! I can only imagine how invigorating the vibration was during concert 🤍🙏🤍
Totally, totally awesome, never seen or heard something like this before. Young, old, men, women and children all participating and having a wonderful time. We need more of this in this world, thank you for sharing. God Bless everyone around the whole wide world. Peace to this world is coming, real soon.
Amazing! Seeing the age of the participants from children to adults. Men and women all keep pace and everything sounds fantastic. Watch nonstop again and again.
Eargasm!!!...Wouuu!!!
Beautiful people.....💓💓💓💓💓
Babies play drums now! Think these guys are good...just wait! This drumming is tame...I high school - college style. I'd like to hear a 2,000 drum jam...a real non scripted jam. Kitchen style... spontaneous. every one in the at their level of ability. Lets throw in Tempe, bongo, and other aborigine drums. Love the dancers! Nice touch.
That's one of the happiest hours I have ever spent! Thank You for all of the wonderful musicians that did this wonderful event! I want more!
SUPER FANTASTIC!!!! As a Taiko drummer I wish I was there too!!! Brought up such joy and all kinds of positive emotions!!!! Well Done for bringing this wonderful fusion of drums and people together!!!
💖😍🌟👍
💖😍🌟👍
I only see happy people. I don't understand why there are so many thump down here! This is an amazing show!
Probably because they aren't happy. LOL Totally agree with you. Amazing.
Some people go out and enjoy life, more love seeing videos of that, and a few poor sods, are in their dark little basement of their sad and cynical world, trying to feel better about themselves, by giving a thumbs down to anything that sparks happiness, joy and fun.
@@carabiner7999Earlier I saw a video on The Dodo of an emaciated 15lb pup that was in the gutter & it was thought to be dead. Miraculously he survived. Of all the places some 'worse than a troll' *thing* that goes by LordCobi was being as disgustingly awful as the so called "preshidunce" of the hacked & whacked up states.
I don't know if you have any interest in learning how far back the KGB/GRU has gone, much less the lengths they go to spread disinformation, around the globe.
ua-cam.com/video/tR_6dibpDfo/v-deo.html
You are either a miserable, self-loathing individual, evil or have a few screws loose. I think some reported him, LordCobi, as you see him being called a pos but not his comment. I don't want to call others names but dang, I had a tough time writing about it w/o doing it.
Back to this great event! As I have said often times, if it weren't for UA-cam, I'd never know of this event! I guess that's why it's so bothersome to see such negatives in comments. While listening, I was curious to see what others were thinking & saw a couple of others being grateful for UA-cam.
Peace be with you. 🍃🕊🍃
Ignore that.
That must have been some afternoon. I bet they are still living it - I mean all those amateur drummers - kids/grandads. FABULOUS!
all happy people, that makes me smile too. happy times before corona came into our lives...
Just love those drums!
As a bass player who can never find a drummer, this would be heaven for me.
wow... 35 minutes in and i hadn't even looked at how long this was, or how much longer it was. i was just enjoying it too much.
Love, love, love all these drummers making amazing music!!! And I also love all of the beautiful smiling faces your drumming brings about! Much love and respect from TEXAS and from a long line of drummers ! ❤️❤️❤️
I find it pretty incredible that all these drummers can stay syncronized.
Louanna Spivey if *anyone* is able to quickly pick up & maintain a rhythm, it's a drummer 😊 after all, it's the drummer of any band that establishes the heartbeat of any song they play. I consider the drums to be the backbone of most music.
I played precision when I was in middle school; after watching this I kinda regret not sticking with it. I love seeing the age ranges of the drummers. Thanks.
Wow....ein tolles Spectacel...
Danke schön für das Video...,wäre gern dabei gewesen! Einfach Klasse !!!
,😀👍👏🎶🥁❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I'm sitting here with goosebumps up and down my arms and on my neck, you guys are freaking awesome. It's legit like rolling thunder, a wall of sound and it blows me away.
So awesome to see people together in a very large mass having so much fun and working together in sync
Just beautiful and joyous! Shows how amazing us humans can be when we come together!
Thank you drummers for all your smiles!!! young and older. That was GRAND!!!!!! I wish I was there!!!! 💛
Resently saw something similar, but on a much smaller scale, in Huntington Beach Califirnia. I was moved to tears. Can only imagine the emotion 2000 drummers would evoke! God is good people!
Oooh my friend lives in HB and I visited once. Wish that was on when I went x
Drumming sound is primal, deeply emotional.
2000 in the Netherlands . We are dropping the ball here in the US. How much fun are ALL of these people are having. Look at the talent . Everyday people doing their thing together. A kids dream realized .
2000+! 4 groups (4 horizons, north, south, east and west ) of 500 participants + performers on stage! Sorry, you dropped the ball again...
@@paulwassenaar8351 my point was there are a lot of people having a lot of fun TOGETHER.
MOST DOING WHAT THEY ENJOY.PLAYING DRUMS. all ages
Look at the rainbow.
We here in the US could take a lesson from these peoples but as of yet 12-26-20
We have NOT. Great job by everyone here in this video.
I agree the Netherlands really invests in cultural events like this. Great governance in that sense
I love how if it's a drum it's here: marching drums, drum sets, tomtoms, taiko drums, you name it it's here. I so wish I could have been there!
Best video I have seen In a very long time. We the people! What a good time for these folks. Thank you
Young, old, male, female, from all places music is a basic binding element for virtually everyone. And drums is considered the first instrument played by humans. To see this is utterly FANTASTIC!!! There should be more festivals like this in all genres of music and all art forms. I'm sure we won't be so quick to beat each other on the head,we'd be too busy beating our drums instead.🥁
I love to see people making music together. The best they can do! Great Performance, thank you!!!
It feels as though the waves smashing on the beach were happy to be imitated; and looks and sounds it was great spirit and so much fun. Thank you for sharing.
I so respect every drummer & dancer! It's Magic! Thank you from US
This is amazing seeing children and mothers and fathers and adults. Mother's and sons, daughters and father's
How nice it would be, if people will find same speech for love and peace all around the world, like those drummers...
I will leave a comment here so when someone likes it I will come back to watch the video 😌
Awesome video bro

Now that’s what I call a drum circle. 🔥 🥁 🥁 🔥
epic! drums resonates deeply within & 2,000 of them gathering together ... all ages & cultures makes me feel so optimistic for mankind! i can only hope they do it again and again ... powerful, lifting & inspiring. this should show all that the power of music will bring people together ... we need Unity.

That's historical for all mankind on Earth
As someone who is part of a drum circle, I keep hoping to participate in something like this. A previous commenter said it… MUSIC IS LOVE so send it out there!!!!🙌🎉❤
The World needs More Fun Family Exciting Drummers Touring!
Hard to imagine how they organized this very large number of talented persons to play with a common tune. Good job guys!
Have you seen the 1000 musicians in France concert? Check it out on UA-cam.
Cesar Zuiderwijk has done it before, many years ago, in Rotterdam, with 1000 participants.
If the world's best drummer asks you to come to the beach, you hurry over.
Wow! Awesome to hear all those drum voices all in one place. Pretty cool to see moms, dads, granny’s, grandpas, even little kiddos out there drumming a heartbeat! Would have been cool to visit the Netherlands just for that.
You can try to organize it in your country. This is medicine
OH MY GOSH!!! Holy Cow this was freaking AMAZING!!! To have that many people playing and following that conductor, the drums sounding like waves crashing in the ocean, the diversity of the players, this made my heart race with excitement and joy!!! One of the best things I have seen and am sooo jealous I wasn't there to see and hear this first hand!!!!!
The drumming is amazing.👌👍✌️
what a pleasure watch people having the time of their life in such a special environment and creating such a friendly atmosphere.
it confirms my thinking that music is over all to by played and enjoyed by musicians, and just after that to be listened by the rest of us!
thank you so much for sharing.
MUCH RESPECT GOLDEN EARING. That is one of my all time favorite songs and it still sounds great after all these years.
Absolutely AMAZIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!! FABULOUS! GREAT! LOVELYYYYY!

This is one of the most amazing things I’ve watched on UA-cam, I’ve been playing the drums for close to 30yrs now & my god I wish I could be part of something like this before I pass on. Something like this NEEDS to be done in Australia 🇦🇺
So do it ! Pull it together yourself !

Now that's a JAM SESSION!!
I love how it sounds like waves crashing on the beach itself
Thought I was the only one..I felt that too..it was beautiful!
I was there, came in a little later. I live close by and even when I was still at home, you could hear the drums like a wave of sound. It was awesome.
Bravo to the months of rehearsals went behind this one day show! Amazingly excuted. Thank you youtube for keepin us sane wid such videos in times of pandemic🙏🏻

What about 2000 tuna players? Now that would be a bass section!
