I got the same turbo comp 1 firepunk and efi live 5 inch exhaust and s and b intake and mine doesn’t whistle out the exhaust like that at all you can just hear it from the intake on the engine
Probably because you have a 5inch, they made the exhaust sound more deep and louder while the 4inch is raspier and you can hear the turbo a little more
Steven Skoleski no I do not have the turbo anymore. It blew up twice on me. And dealing with tater was just a giant hassle. I also no longer have the truck.
ghostgr43 damn man I’m hearing a lot of bad things from tater lately. From seals letting go to wheels self destructing to shit customer service. Definitely won’t be going tater anymore. I’m thinking a bd iron horn kit will be suffice. Thanks for letting me know!
@@gusthebus2542 I’ve done a lot of research from fb, to cumminsforums and even UA-cam and a lot of the problems are pretty much the same, either seals letting go or wheels grenade inside the turbo. They all seem to blow up with low miles too. It really sucks because they sound so damn good
What kinda EGTs are you seeing for daily driving ? Right now Ive got my turbo halfway built , 60 67. Stock compressor aftermarket exhaust housing and wheel. I’m seeing 600°-700° on the freeway at 70MPH @ 2100-2200 RPM. Just trying to figure out whether or not I should build my compressor side to a 63mm
C Henny no I never was able to due to most place around me don't have a torque apparatus and the one diesel shop here isn't very reputable. I will say though that it has kept up with a 350whp sti.
+jeickholt17 it came out to about 1250 or so. I'd go tater. fleece cheetah makes some badass turbos but theirs seem to spool worse than stock when this one spools just the same if not faster.

I would like to stay at the same heat or lower if possible obviously I just trying to figure it out

maxes out at 45psi and spools around 1200-1300 rpm

I have not but there are people that have. they say it's a little laggy but not by much.
