Powerwolf is one of those bands that grabs you by the balls right from the get go and refuses to let go. Symphonic is a VERY apt descriptor when trying to describe their brand of metal to the casual or new listener. There really isn't a bad song on this entire album this masterpiece comes from! This is possibly my favorite powerwolf song in their entire catalog....and that's saying something! Welcome to the PACK!!!!
I think you might like Demons are a girls best friend also. I saw them live, and where better than I had expected to be honest. And I fell a little bit in love with Falk during their performance, the keyboard player. We here in EU have lots of great bands!;)

Ill throw in Venom of Venus Dead or Alive, Demon's are a girls best friend and Where the wild wolfs have gone. Fire and forgive also on playlist. Plenty of others to mention. Also check out the Monumental Mass videos. The stage set up alone worth the effort. Truly great band. 👍

Since you liked this, you'll like basically every Powerwolf song. They're not all exactly the same but they definitely have a style they stick to (at least on the main releases) One thing you may find interesting, they do whole CDs of other bands covering their songs, and some of those are also really good

But, from Dan, I found Sabaton and Nightwish and from them I found Powerwolf. Quite a journey of new (to me) music.
The llast Powerwolf album sounds more symphonic indeed. I mean, Joost van den Broek (Epica, Ayreon, anyone?) recorded the album and added some magic to it. You should definitely go for a live version, preferably from Germany 😉 Seen them live quite a few times abd nothing beats a German crowd when it comes to Powerwolf
Since I discovered them like 2 years ago I've yet to find a song of theirs I've not liked. Solid Power Metal with symphonic elements band. Love them. And yeah, this is them. This is their vibe. They were in my top 5 pands on Wrapped Spotify.

I like Beast of Gévaudan as well. Mainly because they got heat that their French pronunciation sucked in the English version. So they just released the song completely in French. 😂My French isn't that good, so I don't know how good the French version actually is, but the cheek of it 🤣🤭
