I am trying to do more damage but having trouble figuring out how when I am just getting trained down by warriors etc. Been trying to mind control the other dps when I get some space more but in general Just trying to figure out what I should be doing in 2s. And maybe what comps you think are the best to climb with disc. trying to get that 1800 set but been stuck in the 1600s.

I drop twilight equilibrium & the penance+ smite increase damage and pick up the penance bolt talent and I too have 1 point in Abysal rev & radiance talent. I just smite & solace between goes & then press mind blast for damage with expiation on goes. I don't think it's the maximum PVE healing but I think this way of playing for me is easier to play also with the 4 set I feel like I don't want to drop my raidnece point.
Can you explain how youre spreading purge of the wicked with penance for a noob? I see you just cast purge of the wicked then cast penance, i wasnt aware that penance can spread PoW. Whats the radius on the spread? Thx
Penance spreads it. Peep the tooltip of Penance ;). Tbh it sounds silly, but if you're newer to a spec. Take the the time to read ever spell and talent fully. You can learn alot of little tricks!
Hey love the videos man they've helped me start to grasp the class and its role. I have a question regarding crafted pieces. I see a lot of priests going with the crafted ocular lenses now. Do you know why that is? I cant find an answer on this anywhere but i see a lot of top disc players running it

How good do you think disc is in the meta right now ? I haven't heard that disc is bad, but just that it gets outshine by most healers since the nerf expcet h pal and h priest. I came back 2 weeks ago and am sitting at around 1800-1900 in 2' ,3's and shuffle. I think its decent in this season considering how the mmr was fuck in 3s and shuffle. But i feel like i have to put more work to be efficient like resto druid or mistweaver.
Into resto Druid teams I always stand near them and purge early on hots being applied never if they’re below half You’re forcing them to use more mana and by hugging them as long as they don’t have bash you can meld and line and clone and always prevent them from getting a drink off. I’m only 2600 xp in 3s but this is what has worked for me historically.
@@messermoreaux1139 Only 2600* is like top 0.1 if not less than that brother lol. My peak is 2500 shuffle and 2350 in regular bracket. I usually never try to push higher than 2100 and just play those brackets once in a while after I get past that. I think i can get glad if I find a dedicated team. I play a lot of double wizards ( I mostly only played that in shadowland has Holy priest). I notice that I manage too out mana most healers due to the pressure we have. The healer I've the most issue with are R druids. I purge when I can, but they can just sit invis and drink.
@@MMARKERS Good to know. It felt like the mana issue was from my dps not stopping the drinking from the druid. Considering am a meta slave player double wizards lol, they can stop it easily and they can also give me free windows where I can drink when they have their burst.
I think shadow covenant + embrace shadow is way better than borrowed time. i would take that any day over it. and 1 point on each of PaS and AR only. or 2 points in only one of them. or burrowed time + shadow covenant + embrace shadow and no points on PaS and AR. its has way more value than 8-15% dot dmg or 10% atonment heal on shadow spells. or 4 sec haste on shield. But sure, harsh discipline is kinda the go to talent here when using covenant.
Shadow cov is too mana intensive in 3s esp how i play. I oom too quick. Also borrowed time is 5% per pt for whatever reason not 4 like the the tooltip. 10% haste up 50+% of the game feels better for me. Esp since disc plays mastery. The gcds really come in handy. This is my personal preference build. Its been insane atonement healing. (Recently moved pts in blaze to abysall reverie) doing close to 40% healing even in 3s now with it. Maybe not the best build but super enjoyable for me
Forgot to mention: Still running about 75% mastery gear. Mastery inc atonement as well. Don't have to run haste to get use of atonement!

Melee cleave/moshpit is a really good comp for discs ive noticed.
Blood for the blood god
Skulls for the Skull Throne
Comment for the Algorithm
Damage for the atonement

What’s your thoughts on Expiation over Harsh Disc?
I see a mix from top Disc’s but, Harsh Disc seems to be more favoured. Was played in AWC too.
Personally like expiation for the atonement. But if you dont cast MB or Death no point. Im in the minority for sure

Its a single stat crafted piece. So can get the most mastery possible. Tbh i just made them too but for vers lol. Love my damage :)

@messermoreaux1139 dont need to. You can have only 2 embellishments, but can have as many crafted pieces as you'd like
