What happened with the sun event is the what I call the F4 effect. When landing at night you have bad visibility so if you go into 3rd person view and as soon as you get the "sun" glitch hit F4 again and now from the cock-pit view you can now see much better.
@@Rimmer666 when you’re flying in the dark and you can’t see, you will notice a sudden brighter appearance when you hit the F4 button / 3rd person view (for a very brief moment). When that happens quickly hit F4 again (as it will go dark quickly again) to be in your cockpit and the brightness stays. It makes it easier to fly at night.
@@Rimmer666 so when you are done performing a quantum jump to a jump point on a planet/moon the vision in the shade is really bad and you cannot see the ground very well. If you hit F4 to go to 3rd person view your screen will brighten momentarily and if in that moment you hit F4 again, to go back to 1st person, the brightness will stay and you can see much better.
I was doing various mission types with a friend who just started lately and we found 2 Janalite spots (20 nuggets) in one cave and next to it an abandoned Corsair fully upgraded with lots of FPS gear and a bunch of ores in the bay. Quite a find I didn't expect in the "Missing Person" contract!
I used to live on my C1 until one-day it disappeared under the planet surface with a ROC and some 5000 pieces of hadanite aboard. Won't be doing that again.
Never sign out on the planet. Always sign out in space. Reason being is CIG currently does not track planetary coordinates. At least they cant do it well, which is why we still do not have planetary coordinates. They only track space coordinates. The planet rotates so when you sign out, the game keeps your last Space Coordinate but the planet still rotates. So when you log back in , you can essentially log back in at a location that was not your last location. So always bed log in space, not on planets and you should be good. Also do not log out around space stations either because they are in the planets local space and rotate with the planet as well. bed log away from planets local space in general leaving the planets gravitational pull.
Excellent video as usual! Could you do us noobs a bit of a favor and go over the options and techniques you use to disable turrets? I have a new alt account with just a Nomad, and I'm wondering if I can crack the turrets with three size 3 guns on the Nomad? Would you recommend using Deadbolts? I think this is needed training for a lot of us, given how many blown up ships surround bunkers lol.
Very difficult with a nomad, best bet is to buy a cheap bike or the mule is great because it can hold a empty box in the back. Turrets won't shoot land vehicles. I have shot down the Turrets with a cutlass but you have to be on point. One mistake and you die. The big ships have it very easy for sure
frfr, it took me about 6 days of active looking last year to find that one mask, I still have the like 1000 bear masks I found looking for that Vanduul mask.
Im getting absolutely melted when I try to fly my cutty black to the bunkers. The turrets shred my ship within a few bullets and my NDB-30 repeaters are doing diddly squat. Missiles dont seem to lock on either. Any tips here?
Theyre fine for ehat they are. A buggy mess sometimes but that the nature of the game. Good for sometimes finding heavy weapons like launchers and rail guns is what I mainly farm them for plus rep. Not great for money considering the risks.
If the ship is a abandoned it will have an alphanumeric code instead of the player's name. If you're not sure you can scan it and if it's not abandoned it will show you who's the owner but the ships' names should be enough. Edit: but be careful not to tow it by mistake, even just locking it with a tractor beam while trying to get the boxes out could result in a fine.
Good video, as usual. How do you avoid getting a crime stat when going after the turrets at a Nine Tails bunker? Are you taking a mercenary mission for that location?

@@roel2377 yes but on some ships you need to look around for a secondary interaction. For example on the cutlass you need to look at your left shoulder

What do you mean by the sun glitch?

The ones that are dead are laying on the floor. the ones running away are on their feet, running away. Hope that helps x
I don't think you get the bug...
The players will think the servers glitched out and lost all their items
Crossfield i tend to use in my Mole, it is bit faster than the default, but the cooldown is way shorter, and fuel burn is not horrible.
People disappear all the time in StarCitizen. People blame Bigfoot, but actually it’s the lifts eating them.
I found 1M of weevel eggs in the back of a cutlass at Brio's while the pilot was walking to the terminal...best find so far 😂🎉
🤣🤣🤣 I agree lol
How are weevil eggs that much i only sold them for like 35k each last night only 4

How do you turn on the light for your ship?
L key
can u still find Halloween masks or has this event ended?
the event has ended but every now and then they do pop up in a box I think
how do you tell if a ship is abandoned or not? I get crime stat 1 all the time which cost 20k to clear and I dont know what I did to get it.

Don't get a crime stat for killing the turret
You get a crime stat when you use missiles.
Did you put the items in the box in case the ship is destroyed?
Not really, just easier to have a box around
There is a bug where you sometimes die as you land at a bunker... so annoying.
I would love to understand how you manage to not live on a station, As I just moved to a station from the planet. Which has been very good.
I go there to sell and things but I log out on my ship so when I want to game I can get going instantly because I spawn on my ship
