73 is still young! I don't think you really start aging until you reach 100 yrs. Just take extra care of your health and enjoy!!!

I lived in Idaho back in 1979 thur 84. It's by far the best state if you like hunting and fishing or just being in the great outdoors. I kick myself for ever leaving. I ended up in crappy California. I hate it here but due to family issues I'm Kind of stuck. Hopefully some day I will make it back and never leave again. I'm 65 so I hope this won't take to long. Lol Please pray for me. Thank You
I have friends who lived in their trailer for years after retirement. They’d winter in AZ then travel or park on their kids property in Idaho. They eventually decided they needed a brick and mortar house and found a fixer upper at the base of the sawtooth mountains. Their sunset views are amazing from their front room picture window. Idaho has a lot of stunning beauty. Thanks for posting
Cathy, we missed each other I was also there traveling along the Salmon river and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Been thru the area many times and it never loses its luster. I at 78 can never get enough of being out in nature. A week ago we passed each other going up Beaver Mountain I was coming down. Saw your video a few days later. Nothing more beautiful than the Sawtooth Mt. Stay healthy my friend maybe one day we will meet.

When I came back from Viet Nam, I spent considerable time backpacking in the Sawtooths, trying to get my head right. And now that I am much older, I have asked my son to spread my ashes when I pass at a spot just a few mile west of Stanley. Thank you for showing some of this areas great beauty!

Yep, the Stanley basin and Sawtooth range is pretty special. You could spend months up there and not see it all.
You know a good drink for sure! Heading that way this week to spend a week!
Our old stomping grounds 🤍 We were stationed with the Air Force in Idaho 2003-05. Sawtooths were three hours north of Base and we were there a bunch! You can see why :)
