By coincidence, I binge-watched all of LOTR on Netflix a couple of weeks before this came out and Serkis's Gollum/Smeagol/May is absolutely on point perfect compared to his original performance. He says that just as much effort goes into acting in a mocap suit as in a costume, if not more, because you don't have the luxury of being in costume on a fully realised set, and instead you're clad in a silly-looking suit surrounded only by cameras. Others point out that there are entire teams working behind the scenes to translate raw data from a performance capture into believable scenes, and so they too deserve recognition. Either way, what needs to happen is the Academy needs to start taking performance capture more seriously, instead of brushing it off as CGI nonsense.

The thing is, it was clear from the start that things were gonna end up like this. This is due to the fact that the UK is geographically in Europe, and therefore most of the trade is gonna happen in Europe. If you put up barriers, it's imperative that it will affect trade with the EU. Therefore, for the economy to not suffer a heart attack, UK would have never completely left, it would just make it seem it had left the EU, so most of the voters would have been fooled by such move.
