Hi Kyra, loved your video. Oh I have a few that I want to add to my physical collection now from your predictions. I prefer physical books too. I’ve bought so many books this month already 🤣🥰.
The cozy fantasy I am most interested in getting to this year is A Dark and Secret Magic by Wallis Kinney. Heather from the channel Bookables listed it as one of her top books of the year this past year. 20:53
Yay! Book twin haha. That’s great to know. I mix reading and listening sometimes to get more reading done and relax so I’m always on the lookout for great audiobooks 🥰
If you like grimdark fantasy and vampires, you NEED to read Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff. It was my favorite read of 2023, and its sequel Empire of the Damned was my favorite (tied with Beartown by Frederick Backman) read in 2024, and I read 71 books.
I loved the Poppy War series but I did not like Babel at all. Didn't click with the plot, and reading the footnotes was so tedious lol. Hopefully you'll enjoy it more than I did though! The Poppy War books are very good though, and I also enjoyed Yellowface by RF Kuang too. Project Hail Mary was a 5 star book for me, I totally think you'll love it! I read it while I was on a plane, and my husband even started reading parts of it when he was sitting next to me 🤣
I’m really glad you enjoyed Project Hail Mary! I can’t wait to read it. I’ve heard so many great things about it. I have heard Babel is a hit or a miss. I am a bit of a history nerd so the footnotes probably won’t bother me but we will see haha 😊
Listen to the lie is definitely a 5 star ⭐️ great video ❤

Great selection. Your Spring reads are to die for good. Looking forward to some.
Thank you so much! I’m really excited about some of those too 😊
Loved the Audiobook of The Girl Who Drank the Moon! So many of yours are on my list!!

I love your sweater!
Thank you! I got it as a gift. I think it's on Amazon 🥰
I read The Spellshop last year and I really enjoyed it. Gonna check into some of your suggestions-thanks for sharing!
I'm so glad you liked it. I’m really excited to get into it 😊 I hope you find some you like! 😊
