- We made quite a few changes to our homeschool in the last year (and keep making more, lol)! Today I want to share with you how those things have been going for the last 5 months - what's been working and what hasn't! I pray that this video helps to spark ideas in you to better your homeschool and family life!

Yes! I'm super thankful for him! The kids of course love it too 🥰
I always love it when my husband wants to be more involved with homeschooling. I think it’s good for the kids too because I feel like everyone has a different way of teaching.

We’re definitely eclectic lol I like that way. There are even days when I do morning basket and then the kids do unschooling the rest of the day. That’s awesome that your husband will help with homeschooling! I love it when my husband steps in to even do reading aloud. It’s so helpful.

I love the idea of making a list of the thing the kids can do, could you share it with me? My husband is also jumping in on homeschooling or kids yay 👏🏼 thank you for all your great ideas!
😂 I hate it when my kids say they’re bored too!! I’m trying to limit their electronics time and find more creative ways for them to spend their time.
Me too! It's hard when the weather isn't nice, but there's still so much they can do! I'm always like, "why did you ask for all of these toys if you're not going to play with them...?" 😅 Plus there are board games, play-doh, painting, hide and seek, drawing, reading...
Yes… totally relate the constantly tweaking the schedule…

We are enjoying the Tuttle Twins (the original series) this year :) it’s nice to hear about the history book.

The Ron Paul curriculum sounds really cool. I might try more online things next year and see how they do.
We really like it and it's been such a relief to have some video curriculums!!
I've heard a lot of good things about unschooling but I'm not sure if I understand correctly either but I always feel like my kids would just want to watch beanie boo videos all day lol!! I try to incorporate interests as well. I think I'm more eclectic as well! We aren't full on traditional homeschoolers but I like the structure and stability for LA & Math especially.
I'm totally with you! I don't feel like I could do without a curriculum for LA & Math!
It’s so wonderful that your husband and you are working together on this! We are homeschooling for the first time this year and my husband and I work as a team & have found it so rewarding 🤗 We both work out of the house, but he has a lot of flexibility with his schedule. we have come up with a very creative schedule to make it work for us! 😂 He does lot of the teaching and I do the organizing, grading and record keeping. We Re using the Abeka curriculum for everything. We live in PA so we have to have a portfolio and evaluation when homeschooling.

Have you ever read Sage Homeschooling? It is a wonderful book about natural learning and unschooling.

I feel like depending on the week and depending on the day, I am a complete mix of all of the homeschool mom styles😂 We have the Tuttle Twins series but I didn’t know about the History book! It looks great! Thanks for sharing!😊

I’m always reminding my kids that God have them each other to be best friends, forever. So, go play😂 Not that I ever push them away from spending time with me but, sometimes mom and dad have to get things done! Lol

Our youngest just turned 4 and our oldest just turned 10 in October. All sorts of mixed feelings about it❤
Oh no way!! That's so cool! I totally get that! My sisters and some of my friends are having babies now, so I'm soaking up some baby snuggles with them!! ❤️
