Hi! Would I be able to incorporate this with my fathers world Prek Vollage of Discovery? I have two kids 3&4 and I’ve noticed they want MORE to do during class time. Also I would need to print double of everything. Do u know of any place where I can order them to get printed so i don’t waste so much ink? Thank you! It looks amazing 😍
Thank you! I’m not familiar with the set up for Voyage of Discovery, but it most likely teaches the alphabet in a different sequence than the one I created in the curriculum. I set it up to introduce decoding more easily and to help avoid confusion with more challenging letters.
Having said that, I think that any type of exposure to beginning reading skills in the early years can be helpful as long as your children are eager to learn and don’t feel overwhelmed with extra formal lessons.
You may consider just using NCR with your older child for now or only use it a few days a week. Another option would be to get the add-ons with just the flash cards, booklist, and rhyme and coloring pages. These could then be introduced using the sequence in MFW.
I just added some limited printed options in my shop. ☺️
