Damn I really didn’t think I’d be back vidding this couple so soon again after my last video. Though to be fair when I posted that they hadn’t yet announced that this would be the last season so I honestly didn’t expect that these two would reunite so soon (if at all tbh). So as I wrote in my last video description, I had stopped caring about these two as much as I previously had, cause during seasons 4 and 5 I just felt their relationship was so mishandled. (Feel free to read my novel of feelings about why in my last vid of them haha I’m not gonna repeat it all here) So ya once America left I ended up not keeping up with the show anymore. I’m sorry I just wasn’t invested anymore, the writing of these two as a couple just really let me down and it made me kinda fall out of love with the show as a whole unfortunately.
But then when it was announced this would be the last season... damn they really didn’t give them much notice to wrap up I feel bad.. I was like ok I’ll catch up in time for the series finale. So even though I had been kinda let down and felt disconnected from these two as a couple, the finale FINALLY changed that and gave me my passion back for them!! I thought the finale as a whole, especially for how little time they had to probably think about it, was just a perfect way to close out the show and say goodbye to every character. AND THESE TWO! FINALLY they made me feel something again! I hadn’t felt that buzz for them since season three from before they became a couple. Their scenes in the finale reminded me of the old them, and I’m so glad the writers gave them this ending, one worthy of how epically they started out. Though part of me was also kinda annoyed, because THIS is what I had been missing for two whole seasons of them dating. Like when Amy put her hand on Jonahs back in the parking lot to comfort him, it was honestly a little foreign to me cause we’d hardly ever seen these two be affectionate or touchy like that (besides kisses) before!! Whyyy we couldn’t have had a touch here or there while they were together I’ll never understand. And how they finally expressed their feelings! We finally heard Jonah vocalize that he had only ever stayed at Cloud Nine because of Amy, and Amy affirming that Jonah makes her life better. Ugh it was perfect (though again my cynical side is like why couldn’t they have ever expressed their feelings or said cute couply things while they were together haha) As a vidder who likes to fill their videos with quotes, it’s hard with these two cause they don’t have very many meaningful ones. Literally their only “I love you” is impossible for me to edit in a video.. TRUST ME I’VE TRIED lmao I’ve tried to cut it so many ways. It just doesn’t work.. unless the feel of the video is an upbeat/fun one I guess. I wish they had had more than just that one I love you. Oh well we already know my frustrations about all this so I’ll stop lol sorry. At least the writers closed out the show by letting them reunite and having that moment of verbalizing their feelings finally! Also omg all the parallels to the pilot in the finale were great too. The glow stars on the ceiling of their sons’ room.. chef’s kiss. So ya even though my love for them wavered a bit there in the middle, they really brought it home in the end and reminded me of why they had at one point been one of my biggest otps. Glad these two got the happy ending they deserved.
I’m not even entirely sure this song works for these two 100%, except for the bridge which is perfect for them. I was also so drawn to the lyric “my sense of wonder is just a little tired” and thought it described Amy’s feelings of hopelessness and her stagnant way of life perfectly.. before Jonah came and showed her all of life’s moments of beauty... hopefully that comes across in the video :)

I'm SO glad you vidded them again after the series finale! I was very excited to potentially see video of them from you! This is so stunning and you captured everything so beautifully. I agree it was a great series finale and they really wrapped up everything well. I was worried too that they wouldn't have enough time finish everything but they managed to pretty well. Their story really came full circle in a way. So so stunning hun, I love it!

Your description is literally everything I’ve felt summed up perfectly. It was a shame to wait three years for them to finally get together only to be let down by the writing of their romantic relationship. But when I tell you this finale had me in tears, not just tears but sobs, because it was I think everything I’d been waiting to see for six years. We finally get that moment of vulnerability from Amy and it feels so satisfying almost. And Jonah killed me in All Sales Final. I like how they didn’t have him immediately run back to her, it wouldn’t have felt as organic as it did if they would’ve done that. The ending montage absolutely wrecked me, I was crying because I was seeing the stories of these characters I’ve loved for six years be wrapped up so beautifully. It was the perfect finale considering how little time they had to tie up all loose ends. It’s a show I truly, truly love with all my heart and I’m about to cry writing this even ahaha

AAAAH OMG OLIVIA THIS IS SO GOOD!!! I was so wondering what you thought of the finale and I was really hoping to see you edit them... I was so happy to see this edit in my subscriptions earlier ashsksks. And as always this is so freaking good!!! I really really loved how the show ended and how these two had their happy ending and I totally agree with what you wrote about how they had such great scenes in those last two episodes. I love this song and it really is perfect for them--not just the bridge and lyric you mentioned but I also liked "the moon has never looked the same" for the stars on the ceiling scene. ❤️ I love all of the parallels you found in those audio clips and the diff shots from the finale vs the pilot; also, the parallels of her walking on the checkout conveyer belt and them sitting on it together; ALSO the audio "my life is so much better" over the golfing moment was GENIUS! I'm sorry for fangirling but this is seriously a work of art! 🔥🔥🔥 (I really did cry lol) It's a gorgeous summary of their relationship. This edit can't be topped imo.

I remember thinking your circles video would just be how these two ended. I tried so hard to want Jonah to find a girl this season and I wanted to like her so he would get a friggin happy ending but of course, his relationship with lawyer girl was stale and boring and little chemistry. When I saw Amy was back for the finale, I was hoping for this ending. It was beautiful. I agree with everything you said in the description! THIS Amy and Jonah has been missing. Wtf was the writing while they were together? It was awful and they would’ve been better off still flirting and playing the will they won’t they game because their writing while they were together was so awkward? Anyways, this ending was beautiful and I cried. The fact that they have a kid together, the stars on the ceiling, the little glimpse of them married 😍😍😍 it almost makes up for all the shit this show put us through. Lmao almost.

Where could you find season 6 it’s not on Netflix?
This show isn’t a Netflix original, it aired on nbc weekly and just had the series finale! So I dunno it may be a while for them to put the final season up on Netflix, I downloaded my episodes using torrents, but I’m sure you could find the show just to watch online somewhere for free.. try searching “superstore season 6 online free” there’s usually a bunch of sites that have it. Or “superstore 123 movies” that’s a site I use often for free tv.. there’s a bunch of adds you have to click out of but it generally works!
