Hiiii sorry my vids are kinda few and far between these days, I feel like I’ve mentioned it in the past but I suffer from multiple chronic illnesses and things are currently not so great so I’ll vid in little bits when I’m feeling up to it but that’s becoming a rare occurrence right now unfortunately. Sorry to anyone who noticed I was absent, but it’s ok if you didn’t lmao. But ya if I go another few months without uploading I apologize!
Thank god I started watching Ted Lasso back in April cause this show has been the one thing these past few months that has given me joy and really lifted my spirits during this difficult time. I urge you to watch it if you haven’t already, omg it’s perfect. It completely fills the void that The Good Place and Schitt’s Creek left in my heart last year. It’s just this incredibly funny show but at its core handles so many serious issues and highlights beautiful life lessons and just gahh it’s incredible. Also I played soccer my entire childhood up til I was like 20.. it’s the only sport I ever played in my life, and really the only one I enjoy watching/know the rules of haha, so that’s an added bonus for me, I love that the show revolves around this soccer (aka football) team. WE’RE RICHMOND TIL WE DIEEEE.
Anyway moving on to this video and these two.. I meant this to be a ship edit.. cause I ship these two... so. fucking. hard. It’s a slow burn happening before our eyes... all the foundation is there, IT'S ALL THERE, and it blows me away that apparently some people hate the idea of them together? Like they don’t want them to ruin their friendship?? DO YOU HATE LOVE AND JOY AND HAPPINESS?! omg I don’t get people.. like I saw one reason people don’t want them to go there is that they don’t see enough platonic male/female friendships on tv? Literally what... Rebecca/Higgins, Keeley/Ted, Rebecca/Roy, Keeley/Nate.. just to name a few lol? Or another reason I read is that it’s “too obvious” of a trope? Wtf.. I personally have never seen a love story happen between two middle aged divorcees before.. seriously like there’s the parents on teen shows but they’re generally already established and we don’t see their story play out from the beginning. I think it’d be so compelling and different to see two forty somethings fall in love, especially these two, they literally have led such parallel lives, they just make so much sense, Jason Sudeikis has said they’re soulmates... I mean it’s gonna happen... RIGHT?? Lmao sometimes I do question it and get scared the show won’t go there.. and especially now I’m freaking out with this Rebecca/Sam bantr storyline.. like ew.. worst possible choice lol I really thought she was gonna be talking to Beard or Nate. BUT SAM?? THE BOY IS 20 OR 21. Rebecca's age isn’t specified but if we’re going off of Hannah Waddingham the actresses age I assume she’s supposed to be anywhere from 40-46 I guess?! I can’t do a 25 year age gap and a power imbalance like that guys ugh gross no. I know it won’t last forever and hope to god this is somehow a stepping stone to her realizing her feelings for Ted, and in the mean time obviously Ted needs to work on his issues in therapy.. BUT CAN WE GET SOMETHING LIKE A REALIZATION OF FEELINGS OR A LOOK OR SOMETHING BY THE SEASON FINALE PLEASE IM BEGGING? Fuck I’m probably gonna get let down lol.. I’m really in so deep with these two I don’t even know how this happened.. I love Roy and Keeley so much too, but there’s just something about Ted and Rebecca, just ahh how she initially only hired him as a ploy in her evil scheme, then him with his optimism and charm forced his way into her heart, and how they constantly save each other and just get each other.. IT'S SOULMATISM AND ROMCOMMUNISM AT ITS FINEST OK.
So I had been making this video for a while and was gonna wait til the season finale to finish it but realized I’m scared for what the rest of the season is gonna bring and I already had plenty of footage to make a whole video with so I figured I’d make this now before the shitstorm to come lmao.. I'm scared. But I'm so ready for the ride though, these writers are amazing I have faith... BELIEVE points to sign

I think I know now why I like season 1 than 2. Their interactions in season 1 was amazing. Season 2 the writers focused on the Sam+Rebecca storyline which truly didnt sit well with me. If they want to get back the magic of this show they should focus again on Ted+Rebecca interactions. The Christmas episode was super well done. Love this video!

truly I love this with my whole heart. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS. i have been obsessing over this ship since season two began, and there’s literally almost no one making videos of them??? so when I say this is like water in the desert I truly mean that. just like you said, it’s insane that so many people don’t want this/don’t see this coming. because IT IS. all the hints and foreshadowing is right there in the show; all you have to do is pay attention. they’re soulmates. they’re endgame. I genuinely refuse to believe anything else. I hope you make more videos of them in the future because I’ll adore every single one❤️

I read recently that Jason told an interviewer the he believed Ted and Rebecca were soulmates!
I do expect some surprises, which the cast have also alluded to. Have a feeling about Roy and Pheobie's teacher, for instance, while Keeley might get back with the 'new and improved' Jamie! lol
I think Rupert is gonna get stuffed at some point, and it'll be interesting to see if Nate gets turned around again! Not sure where they might go with Sam, but he's gonna be a key storyline I think.
I've never in my life been touched by a TV show like, and once I got Apple TV, I couldn't help but binge watch the first two seasons! Can't wait for season 3, and keep checking when the season premiere will be coming out!

don't mind me, just rewatching the masterpiece that gave me the final push to start ted lasso and realized i've never commented? so i HAD to rectify that... i just love this video so so much.. like insanely much... you have no idea. it will always be the no1 tedbecca video in my eyes. i'm trying hard to come to terms with s3 (and s2 if i'm being honest) and how much they wasted t/r and their entire dynamic and the best remedy is honestly watching this on repeat so that's what i'll be doing for the foreseeable future

We really should have stopped trusting these writers towards the end of season 2, I totally agree with you, the way they separated these two was so dumb… IF THEY WERE JUST PLATONIC SOULMATES LET THEM AT LEAST BE FRIENDS AND HAVE INTERACTIONS?! But also ya certain storylines in s2, namely the sam/rebecca “relationship” was so badly mishandled imo, but I kept telling myself “ok maybe they’ll rectify this next season”… lmao NOPE. And I can’t even get into some of the awful writing choices from season 3, we’ll be here all day and I’m sorry for already spamming too much haha. So ya just in retrospect that god awful finale should have probably been expected.. but man these two will always be such a wasted potential and I’ll be forever bitter. This is so good!! There aren't enough videos of these two, and even though we didn't get many scenes of them in s2 their presence was there the whole time. I love how you captured how much they care about each other and how rebecca warmed up to him. It's such a wonderful song choice for them and your editing is👌👌
Ugh ya.. season two has been a struggle with their distance.. but I have to keep reminding myself it was obviously intentional for the dark forest and it’ll all work out in the end. But I agree I did love how we saw their stories interwoven and paralleled so beautifully even when they didn’t have scenes together!! Thank you so much I really appreciate it! 💙

YES YES YES I knew I could count on you to edit the show and most especially THEM. I definitely ship them so much as well, I could already see something in season 1 but thought they would need time to heal after their divorces to get together but this season with all the little moments we got (especially in episode 6) I ship them even more. They'd be perfect together and like you said it's not often we get that kind of storylines with adults who already had relationships and even children and stuff... I learned not long ago that the show's only gonna be 3 seasons in total so I WISH we get something by the end of this season, a hint that it's gonna happen so that they can explore those feelings and have them be together before the end of the show... but anyway I loved this edit SO. FREAKING. MUCH. It's so good and the song fits so well and the text is absolutely perfect, I love how you use that yellow from the show and the "Believe" sign. And all the parallels and beautiful transitions, it's just so so so so good. Thank you so much for this masterpiece!!!

It’s a computer program called Sony Vegas pro 13.. mine’s an old program, they’ve made newer versions I think they’re up to Vegas pro 18 by now.. but they all work basically the same!

Well I guess you didn’t read my description cause I’m obviously not in agreement with you on that lol sorry! I view their relationship as such a strong connection that goes well beyond platonic, and I feel the show is constantly showing us how their lives are connected in this soulmate type way.. even decades before meeting each other and on separate continents.. and I personally think they have so much chemistry and would love to see them together as a couple. But obviously we won’t know where the show is explicitly heading with their relationship til next season probably.. so we’ll have to wait and see who is right on this lmao.. but for sure, for now I do love their friendship so much! But I just personally see so much more potential in them, they deserve to be loved by each other in my opinion ;) But to each their own of course!
