The GROM VLine VL2 system for the integration of CarPlay and Android Auto to the factory car stereo is available here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-hon3.html
We are in Dallas Metro area, and we can do the install for you. If you are not close to Dallas, TX, you can contact any local stereo shop in your area. They should be able to do the install for you. We recommend doing the installation on the weekdays. This way the shop can call us if they will have any questions. For 2015 Acura MDX you need HON3VL2 model of VLine system, available here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-hon3.html The stereo must have the dual screen to be compatible.
Check your Bluetooth connection and ensure you are connected via Bluetooth to VLine for media and not to the factory car stereo. Ensure that the stereo itself is the USB iPod mode.
Also is there a more detail tutorial on how to use it? Where do i plug my usb wire? Would it be in the center council. Do we press anything to launch it? What does the 2nd half of the screen display or is just there for audio input? Is the price firm? I think 600 bucks is bit excessive same goes for the navtool too much money. Thanks.

Are there any instructions on removing the DVD player to access the screws under the radio unit
What's the impact on cabin filter changing?
Does it produce audio over the active source or must you be in aux?
There is no impact on the cabin filter changing. The audio is CD quality, you need to be in AUX (VLine) mode for the audio to play.
@@gromaudio Thank you for the detailed response.
looks interesting changing the cabin air filter

The 8mm bolts aren’t loosening for me. It may be me but I’m going to try a socket grip
Hi we’re you able to get to the 8mm bolts? Do you have a DVD player? How did you do it please?
@@inprogress8750 To get to those bolts, you have to remove the DVD player as well.
How do you remove the dvd player?
Would an Acura 2017 RDX have the same connectors as a 2015 Acura TLX?
Yes they have the same connectors. Check here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-hon3.html
More like disassembly and voila, here is the finished product.
Where is the part where the Vline2 is actually integrated into the factory headunit?
This is also provided in the product manual, how to connect VLine system into the factory screen and at the back of the car stereo.
Also is there a more detail tutorial on how to use it? Where do i plug my usb wire? Would it be in the center council. Do we press anything to launch it? It is similar.
Is there a DIY guide for full installation in Acura MDX ?

You should mention that the 8mm bolts are nearly impossible to get out if you have a DVD player equipped MDX. 🤦🏻♂️
Thank you for the comment, we did not experience such issue.
I got the same issue, the DVD player blocked the 8mm bolts, may I know how did you solve it?
@@leehaola I had to use a ratcheting wrench that has a flex joint right before the ratchet portion.
@@travis3567 thanks for your advice! You don’t need to remove the DVD player? That’s a good news! I will buy a tool and try again.
@leo how did you do it please. I need to do mine. It has the DVD player
Too bad it’s so overpriced
