- I've never seen an ideological pill tier list. How many pills are there? What does each pill mean? What makes a good Ideology? Are any of these even real?

@@fahrenheit9646 i agree, people around me who (in my opinion) have right-leaning beliefs, but are scared to refer to them as such, due to possible retaliation (not from strangers but from close friends). its not like they're full on confederate flag conservative, they just have some views that could be considered "right" wing and are scared to express them due to this stigma, I'm not even close to right wing myself, but its upsetting to see an entire side of the political spectrum be stereotype and subjugated to being the "Boomer/Incel loser ideology" rather than a valid ideology with valid things to say.
@@endr0891the funny thing is though if you actually break things down that's kind of the true left rn, is people that once identified more left but as things have gotten so crazy, all of a sudden leaning more towards right and or red pill beliefs, is all of a sudden more based when faced with your old set of ideas that have long since strayed from what you believe due to entropy, etc.
The left especially the far left is actually more in line with like religious fascism. Which is very much seen as right wing or conservative.
A lot of the split too was over equality of opportunity vs equality of outcome. Which one is so unachievable it's crazy to even ponder whereas equality of opportunity is one that used to be very important to the left and Democrats because it was a realistic and obtainable goal. But now you say you believe in equality of opportunity not outcome and people immediately see you as right or far right or whatever crazy shit. Even though that's an inherently liberal belief.
That's why I continue to shun labels and call myself a far centrist/libertarian
Which even then sometimes people think libertarian is like far liberal so idk man. Labels really just ain't helpful in our current times. I wish we'd abandon them completely cause thats where most of our disagreement stems from. If we all just discussed what we want instead of doing so through an ideological lens than we'd do so much better at actually communicating

I would say the ones I most align with are the political red pill, the purple pill, the bread pill, the clear pill and the white pill. I'm going to swallow them altogether and see what happens.

Great point on eco-fascism being kinda sus. I really don’t see it as an actual thing anyone signs up to join or labels themselves, but yea u have fascists that apply those ideas. I don’t think anyone made it up, it’s just academics labeling everything even if they have one example.
Also the ADL and ACLU have been relentless with the stuff they’ve been calling far right these days. Stuff they’ve even been about is suddenly far right to them.
Moldbug is super interesting btw. I wouldn’t call it a dog whistle but I think it’s a fascinating take compared to what any other single person has written recently. Like you can def say he’s off his rocker a bit, but I think at the very least, he’s an individualist free thinker
Please consider entertaining the idea that the reason our logical mind opposes conspiracies is grounded in a fundamental misunderstanding of how the human psyche function. We assume everyone else is like us, to some degree, in terms of consciousness. But we operate along a very wide spectrum of awareness; there are *profound* variations among the human population. Same applies to (capacity to exercise) freewill.
On a less esoteric level, there's also the mundane matter of intense compartmentalization ("need to know" basis; security clearances) within such institutions/agencies/"secret societies"/fraternal orders...and of the power of implicit and explicit threats re non disclosure (eg, look into the mass amounts of CP found on DOD/Pentagon computers: who says the employees put it there themselves? Good luck proving it wasn't theirs, should that need to be invoked...)
You'd be surprised what secrets most people are capable of keeping. Shocked, even. 🤫

One trip to the Corbett Report's website and browsing some provided sources here and there makes this sort of thing self-evident. We've been gaslit so hard into assuming these possibilities are "crazy" and "tinfoil hat-y" that even well-rounded and allegedly neutral thinkers miss a huge part of the show. It's interesting.
@@mikeexits It's really a trip--to look back at it all with the wisdom of hindsight, huh? I ended up (casually) studying the psychology of how & why people are resistant to a more rational approach to "conspiracy theories." Most of it comes down to *denial* jumping in to white knight for the fragile ego, because we've been trained to associate CTs with severe mental illness +/or lack of education.
Also, the ego HATES realizing it had been fooled/deceived/gullible: the shame it triggers can cause visceral reactions that prevent people from investigating further (I used to feel a rush of acute fear + dread; in hindsight, my subconscious mind signaling "going down this road is going to _hurt")_ . But we can't overcome what we refuse to acknowledge. That's why highly educated people tend to be most resistant to entertaining CTs: the ego gets wrapped up in the belief that it is intellectually superior, and having to admit it had been duped in ways far less educated minds had been (precisely because of the absence of ego) is a painful reckoning. Pride and the fall (which means into _solve et coagula_ the alchemical concept of breaking something down into its constituent parts to be reassembled into something new & improved...aka "We are all a little broken; the cracks are where the light (of truth) shines in").
It takes impressive dedication to a worldview to refuse to concede there might just be fire where there's so much smoke after so many assertions denounced as conspiracy theories (ie, baseless conjecture) have been validated by mainstream sources +/or objective reality/lived experience. I mean, the US government is all but openly admitting knowledge of "alien life" and confirming UFOs exist: the mother of all crazy CTs lol. (It will never not annoy me when people who mock such matters act as if they'd known all along once it's made public knowledge; they're invariably the worst sort of people).
Overall, I warn people that (most of) the answers we seek are available...but we have to choose between maintaining our ego (self concept + worldview/ identity + reality schema) and knowing objective truths. Of course, denial is always a limited time offer; a mirage. It's also true that the more we engage denial, the more blinded to truth we become (effectively programming the psyche to invert our capacity for intuitive discernment).

I have a morbid curiosity in it but I definitely don’t identify as anything. There’s aspects of ideologies I find applicable (like I mention with the clear pill and aspects of the red pill) but to pin yourself as anything is ridiculous nowadays, The worlds way too fast

On that dog pill tip I read a book that came out in the 70s when I was a kid. Found it in the back of my mom’s night table. It was some book exploring the “new sexuality” and “male fantasy”. I forget the author but it was basically a bunch of letters written to this woman and her thoughts on them. There was an entire chapter about bestiality. Apparently a ton of dudes get fucked or fuck animals and are really into it. There were several and I mean several, stories from guys whose favorite sexual experience was with their childhood dogs. So maybe the dog pill is a bit of projection.

One correction id make, you keep saying the pill things are only used to define right wing politcs so therefore theyre all kinda right wing.
While i dont disagree with this, its important to keep in mind that these are all people that were once left leaning. Or at least believed and identified with one ideology and then made a big shift upon a big change in perspective or perhaps even several changes.
So while most of the pill ideologies are skewed that way, most of these people were displaced from their previous ideologies and are now on the fence between new ones.
Noone that grew up conservative is gonna say theyre red pill, most of these people were once left but starting looking for new ideas once femenism became so toxic.
So anyone using pretty much any of the pills as an identity, these are people whos beliefs are pretty fluid at the moment. They have a few core morals or perspectives that drive most of their belief, and are trying to find their community within that. I think thats important context to keep in mind.
Like a lot of the red pill gym bros and that kinda stuff, these are mostly people that would be pretty normal or based if politics werent already so volatile. and particularly towards them.
Trying to find good ideology as a young white man right now is no small task. Personally id say i lean more white pill, which personally i define as looking at all this info, left right, whatever else in between, and understanding the pit falls, but being optimistic that we as a people can think our way through it.
The more im online the more nihilistic i get in my experience. Theres a lot of chronically negative opinions online. But actually bein gin tye reao wprld and communicating with people fixes that. Most people have a spirit of comradery and working together when in person, even when holding radically different beliefs.
Like ive had full on ideological debates at work before but because we respected eachother it was easy to share eachothers perspectives cause we know were not gonna tear eachother down, and that ultimately we were both just wanting to come out of it with our ideas more robust than they were going into the conversation, and dropping the ones that arent.
Most people agree on more than they disagree about. Our biggest argument is honestly the labels themselves. Past that we're talking about hows and whys not what and whos

I'm politically grey-pilled (believing that the Confederate States are, even with their flaws like slavery, the closest thing America has had to a good system in the last 200 years), and I thought I was both red-pilled and white-pilled relationally. Now I see the relational purple pill is closest to my ideology.
I'm also orange-pilled (urbanist, or at least anti-whatever-the-post-war-American-suburb-is).
