Silly nonsense. When lohan took over we were struggling and everyone was terrified of Limerick. People were making claims about where we were headed and referencing offalys journey. Now the discussion is whether clare or kilkenny are the second best side in the country. His team have gone at limerick head on and stood up. That's only the tip of the iceberg. A few years ago clare underage managers were left begging for sliothars , and other kit. Private individuals had to source money to give a tiny meal to the under 20 hurlers after their training sessions because the chairman Secretary and treasurer wouldn't. Now from our under 14s up are fully kitted out in their proper gear and getting respected and more importantly their coach's are getting respected by a completely new county board. There are fantastic people doing great work but bd in no doubt, that man there was the spark that lit the fire.
@@adrianmacgrath5814 yes quit true Brian has made a few errors but overall big improvement many forget that we have to beat Limerick to achieve silver wear not many have done this, they have won 5 Munster & 4 AI and still no sign of fall off there investment in under age is staggering would like see John Conlon go back to forwards if he is playing next year
@@tonyflanagan8265 To be fair to Brian Lohan he is doing the best he can Clare where unlucky in the semi final last year against Kilkenny they give them a run for there money if Clare had another one or two good forwards they would have defeated the KK cats.Clare in my view are the team that could catch Limerick and beat them well in 2024.
