I got the black ones, you’re right they do feel a little stiff when you first wear them. I took the laces off and re-laced them to feel more loose and I think that helps. I wear these to my valet job and they’re comfortable
I have the white and red ones and I did the exact same thing. I'm still in the breaking them in phase but I could not do it if I had left the laces the way they came from the factory. And I used the lace protectors and love the way they look
I bought the olive color way and I also had the discomfort across the top of my foot but only on my left foot. I bought the wheat color way as well and I have no discomfort at all. 🤷♂️

I have 3 freaking pairs of these shoes. Absolutely love the design. I got the white black and red leather one, the original olive colorway which I skated and destroyed, and I just got this crazy "lemon wash" colorway that is absolutely sick in person
I have thin feet and I'm still breaking mine in something I'm not used to having thin feet and buying pretty much everything Nike. People have said they take some time great looking shoe, i have the nba anniversary edition love the colourway.
My issues aren't across the top of my foot my little toe on my bigger foot is my problem they will wear in i don't even have average width feet, c i think narrow for a man.
i deconstructed it and the pain you feel is where the tongue meets the toe box. its just extra padding glued in. lots of gluing on the mesh to the midsole as well. love the colors. they mesh lets your foot get wet soon as it drizzles. all my stitching is coming out and then thats whats holdind it all together, soon as your stitching goes on this shoe it starts to fall apart all over
ive been skating the ishod for about a month. I am not a hard skater but i did skate a little in it. the black band around the midsole isalready breaking away from the sole. the stitching started coming out quickly
I had the same problem. I just re laced them and made them more loose, and they feel great now.
When you relaced them did you use the hidden laces underneath?
Just too tight even if you skip 1st holes
As someone who hasn't skated for a long time rubber grip tape that's genius. Didn't apply to me my friends skated normally true to form i have to be different i choose the snakeboard which btw they are making again been thinking of reliving my youth. What's the worst that can happen realise I'm too old. Oh well.
Did you ever figure out the toe pain first 10 minutes wearing them? I’ve had them for a couple months now and they never broke in. Just hurt both my toes in the same spot every time
I’ve skated 3 pairs of them and I hate the fit. The insole is trash. Fix the sole/insole Nike wtf

I got the black and white ones last week only and havent skate it. Same issue on the left foot discomfort on top. I better relace the shoe just like the comment ive read.
If you don’t mind the color, you can always get them at a lower price
great lookin shoe but I’m always on a budget so spending an extra $20-30 ain’t worth it
How do they fit compared to Nike sb blazer mids? Are they more narrow and uncomfortable? I personally find the Nike sb blazers comfortable.
I personally have never skated the blazers so I can’t really compare them. But these fit pretty snug and for me they squeezed the top of the foot.
just everday ollies and moderate skating. these dudes having shoes that only last a few months is crzy. back in the 80s 90s shoes lasted a lot longer. i am 46. its dope looking but damn they hurt. all nikes hurt. but they have doper gear than adidas. they are sick though. i hope they change em up and make them a dash better

How comfortable is it in daily use?
There was minor discomfort on the top of my foot. But I loved skating in them. I don't think I'd walk around in them for casual use though.

It's his first signature shoe. You are correct that he has coloways of dunks but those are dunks. This shoe is the Ishod Wair.
Even if ya sling your shoes I’d they white at least clean em some what 😂
