GREAT VIDEO & CARDS, Jackie! I LOVE the DSP from the Sale-a-Bration~all are wonderful n’ fun to use! And FREE w/a $50 order! So GREAT! I like the Stamp Sets that you used, and appreciate the tip to “check out stamps in card kits”, too! :-))) It was also helpful to see you “attach labels” (I don’t usually do that either! But good to know!) and the SHAMMY tip! I don’t stamp as often as you so I’m glad to know that it’s a good idea to let it air dry before storing to prevent mold, etc. :-)))) Once again, TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-))))))
Thanks again for all the tips and ideas! I make cards for nursing home residents and need quick , easy but pretty cards and these fit the bill perfectly! Thanks so much.
Great quick ideas to use up papers. I got 6 x 6 cards & cut papers diagonal & stuck them in different corners & I was surprised how quick and easy they were to make. I can put embellishments on them when I need too.
I received that paper and wasn’t too impressed with it. LOVE how you used it in much smaller pieces. Now why didn’t I think of that? Guess that’s why I watch you Thanks for sharing
Your tips today we're exactly what I needed to know. Thank you and keep making your beautiful cards. Just got that DSP and that stamp set.....I will be making those cards
I'm going to "try" to cut down one of my 12x12 dsp packs cuz your video inspired me to use it up. I usually make my cardstock base 8.50" x 5.5", score 4.25". So what size should I cut down a pack of dsp? I'm thinking cut down dsp to 4" x 5.25" to layer onto the card front. Your thoughts?
Love using the shammy, but it got stained and looked bad, even though it WAS clean. Now, when I use a stamp, I will "stamp off" on scrap paper several times to get most of the ink off, then I use the shammy on the stamp.
Ok you say when you fold a card you put the raised line inward, but with say, paper pumpkin the colored sides of the base would be on the inside, and white on the outer side.im confused at which one todo.
Love these cards, and I need birthday cards and quick. These are simple with an impact.. and I LOVE that you show he inside too,a COMPLETED card. I always want to over do and takes a long time to do cards. Less is more. THANK YOU!!! 👍
Regular basic white is about 180 gsm or 90lb. The coloured cardstock from SU is about 200 gsm/100lb. And thick basic white I believe is 250 gsm/125 lb. A cardbase should be at least 200 gsm/100 lb.
Simple? Yes! Beautiful? Yes!! Thank you.

What weight is "thick" cardstock
Regular basic white is about 180 gsm or 90lb. The coloured cardstock from SU is about 200 gsm/100lb. And thick basic white I believe is 250 gsm/125 lb. A cardbase should be at least 200 gsm/100 lb.
Thanks so much for the weight advice.
When my shimmy gets dry and hard, I fill a bowl or pot with warm water and let my shammy soak. Uses less water.
Low these cards!
