OK, decided to try this again. One thing I am not sure about though, as follows: return of Mooer to the backside of the interface - what does this mean, o the back of my AudioBox USB, I have two speaker outputs - do you mean one of these?
Let's try again. Before making any connection make sure all of your outputs only provides the same, mono, Plug-in sound. No direct monitoring too. Also make your source and captured sounds as close as they can. Don't forger the tone capture feature is mostly an eq-match tool. It won't change the main characteristics of the processor sound. Now; Guitar goes to the "Processor Input" "Processor Send" goes to the "Audio Interface Input" "Processor Return" goes to the "Audio Interface Output" Connect your hearing device (headphone, reference monitors etc) to the "Processor Output" Then you can start the capturing procedure. I hope it helps!
@@WrathVault Thanks for coming back to me, seems either I am not understanding something. My steps as below: 1. Guitar into Mooer input. 2. Mooer FX (mono) send out to Interface input. 3. Speaker out (back of Interface) to Mooer FX (mono) return input. No sound. not even from headphones. even having trouble activating the tone capture it seems. I think maybe, the Presonus AudioBox doesn't support it, or the cabling method doesn't work with the AudioBox.
Hi again, I have awful distortion when i Record with Mooer GE300. Even i select mesa boogie, sound comes good only when i connect to my amplifier (i am using my AMP as a speaker) I couldnt find a solution. If you dont mind, could you make a video of a metal Song cover recording with Mooer? So i can also Compare results. I have Focusrite Solo + Line6 Spider 4 + Ibanez S670 with Seymour Duncan pickups
Hi, i have scarlett solo new gen. On the back, it says "line outputs" L & R. Shall i connect both of them to MOOER GE300's input section L&R? And one mono output from GE300's to instrument input of Scarlett. What do you think? Thank you for deep explanation.
As far as I remember I stated this situation in the video but let me explain briefly; Your guitar signal is mono, and a plugin usually has a mono signal if you have no stereo effects like reverb, delay, phaser, etc, or panned different cabs. So your left and right signals are identical if you don't have those. Consider this and check the routing section of the video. I think you will get something nice if you can match the plugin and mooer fine.
In theory, you can't since there are lots of post-process components in the sound of the end product which should directly affect the response of the amplifier/processor/plugin but you can always go nuts with this type of stuff. If the result satisfies you then it's good to go!
Unfortunately, I didn't keep the files since the video is about explaining the routing method instead of creating the most similar profile. But you can get my 5150 profile files from this video. The download link should be in the comments. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach me out on Instagram! ua-cam.com/video/TPqT8H07K1A/v-deo.html&ab_channel=WrathVault
As far as I remember this video is about the procedure instead of creating the exact copy. You can achieve better with proper pre-adjustments before capturing.
There are slight differences but it can be easily better. I didn’t spend time to match the source to the target and tried to capture a Fortin Cali plugin with the digital copy of Randall Satan.
Good to know man. Thanks. Wanna try and capture Archetype Gojira and Toneforge Disruptor.
The Mooer capture sounds just very slightly muffled like a slight loose of high end/presence that possible could be tweaked.
I have an Audiobox USB interface. I have two jack outputs? However, will give this a try, thanks you for your efforts.
Dude, if you will keep your vst mono then both left and right eill be equivelant, you can use just one of them. Also, thanks!
@@WrathVault nope didnt work

This sunday there will be a similar video with Mooer Prime P2. I think it will be helpful!

could you do this technique with like different piece of audio like use metallica and justice for all for example and try to capture that??

@@WrathVault yeah i didn't think about that lmfao but yeah thanks for the answer anyways
Time for string change
Thanks for noticing, I will explain the same procedure with fresh string next time bro!
I swear you are an army all by yourself. I hope no stone touches your feet.
Best direct translation ever, thanks bro❤️
where do you leave the send and return on signal chain?
You don’t need an additional adjustment. Just send you plugin to the main output and connect your cables as shown in the video.
