Thanks for watching @TheWindowseat77! Glad i could provide some insight ahead of your trip in a few weeks time. Look forward to seeing another one of your quality reviews too and what your take on AAX is!
Apologies about the premiere mishap I have no idea why the premiere abruptly ended early hopefully no issues with the video - it seems to play fine in full on the channel so please do continue watching it from where the premiere cut off!
Thanks everyone who has tuned in to my Air Asia X review thus far I'ts been great to see so many people see it already in such a short period of time. If you have enjoyed the video really appreciate if you consider subsribing to the channel and hit that bell button so you won't miss the next one! www.youtube.com/@AussieJetSetter/UCECWTQ40_l4oc6VFtl92rKA>?sub_confirmation=1 Also if you haven't already last Sunday I also released a regular Air Asia Flight review between KL and Colombo Sri Lanka so be sure to consider checking out that one here! ua-cam.com/video/e3k7p59Jvc4/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. I haven’t flown Malindo before so not the best authority to comment but in my opinion Air Asia X is really good for a low cost airlines ( especially if you pay the slight surcharge for the twin seating at the back)
Thanks for watching Josh - yes the daytime departures out of Perth heading towards South East Asia and the north of the state always provides what is I consider most scenic takeoff out of Perth past the CBD and along the Swan River before turning right and up along the Perth coast! Temperatures are pretty pleasant now being early spring still a bit cool at night but usually low twenties in day :)
Thanks for watching mate, I generally agree with that both fly through flights that I took with AA/AAX last year featured quick and easy check in and no issues with my main bag going through to final destination. I did not encounter any flight with them where they weighed my carry on but I certainly wouldn’t bank on them never not doing this though especially on some of there busiest most frequent routes!
Deatest Benyamin Ismail and board members. Hope you will have your destination to Rome before 2035. In Rome 2035 is a Jubilee Year of Hope. 35million pilgrims expected to visit the city during that year. Hope Air Asia X will carry a significant number of those visiting from Asia. Thank you.
Hey, I was wondering if the back of the airplane is noisy or not? I'm considering booking the couple seat there for my next flight. Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks!
Thanks for watching. I didn’t notice the noise too much. It’s Defs a relatively comfortable place to sit on plane really good for couples too I would imagine. Only thing that may be a minor annoyance is the foot traffic of the crew returning to galley and people going to lavatory but I value the 2 seat configuration more over that!
Great trip report , Yeah , I found airasia is Quite comfortable cheap travel to KL with big airplane , especially without the always everyday long delay of Malaysia airlines MH 126 , however unfortunately KLIA2 airport which is occupied wholly by airasia is quite old tired compared to KLIA1 or changi .
Thanks for watching yeah it’s a pretty solid experience overall relative to my expectations for a budget carrier it gets the job done! I agree on KLIA2 it’s a pretty unremarkable terminal compared to the main building but I guess that’s to be expected being a LCC terminal.
Thanks for watching @Freedomflight747 yes indeed it was a solid all round experience for a budget carrier - yes the lounge is fantastic surely one of best PP lounges going around I do agree though the walk up rate which has recently gone up quite steeply is expensive glad I got in for free!
Yeah certianly wouldn’t mind trying them and Certianly considered them for this trip although there prices didn’t really add up for this trip for example they were nearly $200 more for a flight from Taipei to Perth which could be achieved with Air Asia X or Batik Air significantly cheaper. Also when I last went to Singapore in May I got great value Qantas fares for just $299 (SIA were offering a similar special) one way which was heard to put off! The way skyrocketing euro airfares are going though Maybe I should give them a try to Berlin or Athens!
Yes Perth to Europe, mega pricey. I'm off to Zurich soon, the cost is over $3K. All we can do is keep an eye on those special deals , like the one you nabbed for Singapore.
Please, I urge everyone not to fly with this airline when traveling to Bali or anywhere in Asia. Prior to booking, carefully examine their reviews. On 05/09/2024, during my flight, I encountered issues with their agent attempting to charge me $200 for a bag that was 9KG overweight. After requesting to speak with a supervisor, the price suddenly dropped to $80. Upon arriving in Bali, I noticed significant damage to one of my bags, with personal items missing from the only bag secured with a TSA lock. During the inspection, they mishandled my belongings, resulting in a broken African tribal necklace. Despite contacting the airline for assistance, their response, received all the way from Australia, was dismissive, stating that wear and tear costs are not covered, holding me accountable for the damages. This experience has deeply disappointed me as it tainted my first trip to Bali.
Thanks for watching Anderson, sorry to here you had quite a different experience to what I had - i haven’t reviewed the Air Asia Indonesia flight up to Bali yet though . I don’t know what the offical excess baggage fees are with AA but it’s pretty common it’s going be very steep. I’m not sure if the superior was just trying to meet you half way or you were way over quoted in the first place. That’s concerning to hear something was taken. I thought with TSA locks the authorities have to leave a letter or something so you are aware that you bags have been breached.
Thanks mate for watching sorry to hear that as that’s not a good way to start a trip! . Sure sometimes they’re business like and busy but I don’t ever recall security being rude at either of those airports thankfully.
@@bunny12331 thanks mate. Great to hear you enjoyed it ! stay tuned btw for my Kununurra to Perth Virgin Australia Boeing 737-700 flight review out today at 5pm Perth time :)
Fantastic review mate! I'm taking this route in a couple of weeks too so it was good to see your experience on how AirAsia X is post Covid!
Thanks for watching @TheWindowseat77! Glad i could provide some insight ahead of your trip in a few weeks time. Look forward to seeing another one of your quality reviews too and what your take on AAX is!
Airasia delivers wht u paid for n their cabin crews are profesional..really good value
Thanks for watching Defs agree with your assessment based on this flight with them :)

i am wondering if airasia X a330's seat is better over malind air's as their both seats have same seat pitch of 32 inches on this leg.
Thanks for watching. I haven’t flown Malindo before so not the best authority to comment but in my opinion Air Asia X is really good for a low cost airlines ( especially if you pay the slight surcharge for the twin seating at the back)
Great video!
Thanks so much for watching Rod, thrilled you enjoyed it!
What seat were you in? Because I chose seat 47K and I want to make sure it is good.😊
Hi thanks for watching. Just pulled up the itinerary booking email and can confirm I was in 49K on this particular aircraft. Hope that helps!
Great video mate I really enjoy and the views of the sunset and what is the temperature in perth

The check in and boarding journey seems seamless. Do they check your hand carry luggage weight?

Do they give blanket for night time fight flight?
No blankets I’m afraid on Air Asia X! I believe you can however buy one from the onboard merch menu however!
Thank you. Is there any port charger to charge laptop?
Awesome report - I find Air Asia to be better than Scoot and Jetstar. The lounge looked awesome I can't believe it is that expensive to enter though!!

Give Scoot a try next time , I prefer them over AA

Are the security still rude pricks?? Always the case when Im at the airport....wanna be police on power trips
Thanks mate for watching sorry to hear that as that’s not a good way to start a trip! . Sure sometimes they’re business like and busy but I don’t ever recall security being rude at either of those airports thankfully.
So the exact same as 10 years ago 😢
Thanks for watching! Yeah I agree I think that is a fairly fair assessment!
Sorry to say mate, you just talk way to much.
Great video!
