Still have it? I have a pet gator we have had for years. It's not a cayman, but he still comes home and uses our yard as his own. He is getting big now, 8 foot or so, he eats the neighbors chickens anytime they get near the water. Can't do nada lmao, my boy protected and I have cameras.

Love the colors of that baby! Considered one but leaning towards a tegu. Lost my monitor several months ago after loving him for many years. Was my best friend and even my certified ESA. Dogs are okay but not my cup of tea.

Caimans aren’t crocodiles they’re a different species but are actually more similar to alligators

Right, they're part of the Alligator family. They are a crocodilian, but aren't a crocodile. Crocodilians consist of alligators, crocodiles, and gharials. All caiman are alligators, along with the american alligator and chinese alligator. There is specific morphology and genetics that put them in specific families.
