i cant label my style because one day its birkenstocks and ripped shorts and soft Ts then the next its midi skirts and crop tops then the next its all black and white lbds and pumps then the next its off the shoulder gypsy shirts and sandals like UGH i try combining all the styles i like but it just ends up looking like shit
omg me too! I find my style changing especially color wise I think its because im maturing. I used to love like patterns and zebra print stuff but now its more simple.
I guess my style is very elegant boho, I'm a hippy at heart and maxi dresses are my best friend. But I also love rocker/punk pieces and when I go out somewhere nice I dress more classical. So I'm a big mix & max haha which is what we all really are! I love that your putting across the idea that we don't need to box ourselves into any one style, I think that's a particularly important message for young woman :)
sorry to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the login password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
Could you make a video how to dress with small boobs? I'm 173cm high and skiny and i have long slim legs and waist that everyone complement it so i like wear bondage dresses or pencil skirts, but i don't know how to wear my upper half of a bady to look good
Since you like wearing form fitted skirts try pairing them with looser puffy shirts tucked in. Also wear not necessarily low-cut but something with an open neckline and long statement necklaces hope this helps :)
Scarves really help amp up the looks and the chest. But if you were wearing a basic top, go for crew neck or v-necks they are usually flattering. But deep scoop-neck is a no-no. You will see.
My style is like relaxed and basic. Black, white, grey, and denim, usually loose. Sometimes boyish, but with a variety of classic timeless pieces and outdoorsy pieces mixed in.
+Esther Bjerga It's nice that you found a way to balance it. Everytime I try to add a more masculine piece to my outfit (like a shirt, even if it has a feminine cut), I already feel too masculine. =P
+jagger1943 yeah, it's hard to find the perfect balance. I take some inspiration from Audrey Hepburn when it comes to looking boyish but still feminine, she was a master at it.
Evelina, I have to apologize. When I first came upon your page, I thought you were another skinny, stuck up, superficial blonde "girl", and that was my insecure, defensive, judgmental side in ME coming out. We women can be the meanest, judgmental people. But I am working very hard to over come this instant judgments I put on people, when I myself feel judged all the time. You are a beautiful, caring, sincere, woman and I think you are wonderful! I apologize for my snap judgments, sincerely I do. :) You are a beautiful soul, keep on keeping on! Love from the Northwest!
I wear big sweaters and button downs when I feel down but when I feel good I wear dresses... I don't think I'd be able to stick to a style tbh because I wear my mood
Something that goes thump in the night wearing nothing but air under rose-colored light. A porcelain doll with stars on their skin; An easy-bake oven with gods looking in An afternoon summer with firefly mists, Or a lost little lamb with blood on their fists. I would be a neon screen- floating amidst the void, With milk and honey in their hair And lavender flowers everywhere.
...I have very few clothes. I mean, this is not a typical girl statement. I actually DON'T- I keep rotating the same clothes over and over. And half of them aren't even "Stylish". *sigh* I am fashionable but I have no money...
Creepy Yet Cute Lol see how these youtubers apparently have a million clothes but the most organized closets ever? How?! It's not even like I can't afford clothes. I just live with my parents and my mom... -.- oh well
Agreed! "Defining" your style reminds me of high school where everyone was labeled (skaters, punks, goths/freaks, gangsters, nerds, preps, jocks). How do you define your style? You don't. It's not necessary.
For everyone with the money dilemma, I suggest you try looking around your local thrift store. I know a lot of thrift stores are crap, but I really enjoy shopping at mine. I have quite a "fancyish" style and half my closet is from the thrift shop.
My personal style is my mood because if I feel tired I use maybe some sweatpants or baggy jeans or long sweater if I feel more in the mood I wear skinny jeans with a pretty blouse and an imitation of leather jacket something pretty and I even straighten my hair if I have time lol
I have a very weird style its mainly like film/TV shows/band/slogan tshirts with skinny jeans and either military boots or Converse (fake ones) or my new love of Nike SB's. I do love a good leather jacket though and I like clothes with buttons/badges/sown on words on them. I got a Letterman jacket as an Xmas gift and my moms friend sewed on and I
My style had always been very classic and neutral, especially during the winter, though I have found myself lately the past few years wearing more print flowy maxi shirts and dresses in the warmer months. I have decided to jazz it up and go more Boho lately, and it had been surprisingly easily. I already had the neutral colors and some prints, I also had many scarves, I just added more print scarves, more fringe shawls, brimmed hats, and jewelry, especially pendants, bangles, and even ankle bracelets. Scarves and jewelry off eBay sell for a song. It can be a little difficult getting Boho look that is professional for work, I tone it down a bit there, but it has been more freeing and fun in general, letting my naturally curly hair dry as it wishes instead of straightening, the huge, cheap, Boho bags instead of designer handbags as much. Fun to switch it up.
I like skater skirts, vans, converse, tie dyes and black stuffs. I have black hair (Asian) so it kind of match my hair (and eyes). Mahogany Lox is my inspiration but I usually get so confuse so I end up wearing tshirt and jeans.... and that ain't pretty
what would my style be? I love wearing black and try to wear as much black as I can. my nails are always black. I do have a pink strip in my long brown hair tho! haha and I also really like wearing navy green. love combat boots. just plain black ones. I love studs! I always wear a bracelet that is black leather with gold studs on it.
i think i would define my style as trendy. i love checking out magazines and getting some of my ideas from there, but honestly you are a big inspiration for me! i love you so much and you are truly amazing. thank you for everything, evelina
My style right now is in the soul- searching mode (: I just moved from Brandon, FL to Atlanta, GA and I'm working on making a new, better me. Having your channels to watch now is just what I needed so now I'm still on the lookout for my style. Thank- you Evelina and Daniel for the videos, I'm officially a berry now
I love a few different styles and idk what my exact one is... all I know is I want to feel confident and sexy in my clothes... I like some parts of the 'emo' style, i like more 'girly' clothes... idk
My style is kind of festival inspired. The cool, funky pieces make me feel really artsy and inspired. I love the bright colors and soft patterns, but I also love darker edgier pieces. Leather boots and black tights are my winter go-to. My style depends on two things honestly 1) What's clean 2) my mood and the occasion
Hey Evelina! I JUST discovered your channel ( I know.. where have I been!?) and I absolutely LOVE your videos! I recently have been coming into my own personal style. I'm a sophomore in college, turning 20 soon, and I have had a difficult time finding what I like, as well as looking my age! (I come off extremely young! ) But overall I think you're right! It doesn't matter what age you are, you should where whatever makes you feel proud and comfortable! As of right now I would describe my style as 'Boho-Chic.' Kinda whimsical, flowered head bands, 'peasant' shirts, loose printed pants, and lace; mixed with pastels and neutrals, classic pieces with trendy jewelry. Its been fun mixing and matching these two somewhat opposing styles and making them one !
Thank You Evelina! You do give a good advice. I am 35, from North Europe (so different enough) and I still find many of Your tips valid. And it is beautiful that You are authentic not fake. You make a good role model for youth. Cheers to You and Your followers who have made a great choice! :)
yesss just yes. ♥ This video is a win! Thank you Evelina. My style depends on where I go, school is comfortable tom-girlish, but at church its feminine formal, and with my friends its dressy-casual. I could never put just one label on my style! Lately I've been more into a tad of retro, but one thing it all has in common is modest and affordable. Goodwill is my best friend! Unique pieces at great prices!
i just came across your videos on july 29 at 2am and managed to watch every one on every channel... um i am obsessed with you and think you are the definition of perfection and so inspiring! thank you for your videos! xoxo gina
No one can tell someone else what suits them you have to know yourself and what you like and don't like. That involves trying different things and deciding what you like and feels good to you.
I dont want to label my style and I love how u say that we can dress how we want. U are an inspiration. I love your tips and advice. I love your style ad u keep doing u
My style is soft grunge because I love wearing those Baggie pants, crop tee, tank top, I like the sweatshirts and the shoes and how you can make style your clothes however you want!😊
i don't know what category is my style, and i don't have any branded clothes or bag/purse but i love fashion i love outfit that express my feel and i like to keep an inspiration for other outfit
i would be this one pair of black lace up riding boots i have. they go with almost EVERYthing i wear and they're so comfortable. i put them on when i don't feel like tying laces or wearing heels or if i'm in a hurry. the way i walk destroyed the heels and has turned them into a hazard on slick floors but i don't care hehe. thanks for this video evelina. you're so much fun to watch :)
I NEED help! I'm 24 and very alternative , punk, goth... but I'm also a mom now of a 1 year old girl..... when I first had my little ball of sunshine I tried to change to much to fast... I got rid of all my clothes and went out shopping for a "mom " wardrobe... and I came back with clothes I found made me feel really uncomfortable.... so then I slipped into this supper frumpy stage... sweats and baggy tank tops..... now I'm trying again and I'm buying alternative stuff again that I'm realizing is more for teenagers..... I'm tired of being looked at like a kid with a kid cause that's not how it is at all .... I'm an adult now and I need to figure out how to evolve my style with out loosing me in the process... please help! currently I have brown and blue hair, and tattoos and I wear baggy stuff cause I'm still getting use to having my body back and its still changing and weights being loss. and yea..
My style is skinny jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, small chain necklace, and I normally put my hair in a side fish tale braid and I put in a bow/flower at the base or end of the braid. I also sometimes put on a thin silver bracelet with an infinity sign on it. And if I were a shoes I would be a soft pink Sneaker!
I think my style currently is casual and comfy. Maybe also a hint of dressy. This video helped a lot, and I think that evelina is probably the best fashion youtuber out there. She is so inspirational. Oh, and if I were to be described in a pair of shoes it would be: a floral pair of flats, with a bow on top! :)
Evelina, I have a little bit of a problem. I've been a tomboy for most of my life and it kind of defines me so I don't want to change it but after getting a pixie cut people are always mistaking me for a guy. Is there a way to dress femininely while still keeping my tomboy style?
Oh girl ur problem is quite hard if i were in ur place i would like not chang anything but give it a femenin touch to it like ok i dont mean it like wear dress and skirts with like 5 inches high heels and blah blah but like lets say u have a cute pair of shoes u really like try findung like similar shoes but with a small heel that will stand out and say im a girl! And etc... But well i hope i helped u in a way how...
If you like jewelry that will really help. Or if you feel comfortable you can show off some skin like a LITTLE cleavage. Maybe sneaker wedges if you're feeling adventurous lol.
I really like the "tomboy" style and the bcbg style so mixed the two of them. You can find inspiration with " feminine tomboy" on tumblr or blog. It's really working for me. my basic look is a white shirt with a colored wool sweater, a boyfriend jean and high hells. You should look at " victoria tornegren", i know she's so damn "feminine" but the thing about her, is that she knows how to mixed her "rock style". Because i don't thing our style it"s just one thing. Maybe be she can inspire you. Hope i help, bye :)
I really really love the latter half of your video. The fact that you said that we shouldn't care too much about what others think and that there will always be critics, I really -- idk, it really hit me? I've heard it so much before but wow, that realization though. Thank you. Definitely subscribing. (And your accent!
I dress girly with floral or baby doll dresses, yet I can be a bit preppy with my knee-high socks. I always wear my Vans, no matter if I'm wearing a dress or overalls. I love button ups, over-sized t-shirts and sweaters, high-waisted shorts, round sunglasses and the occasional necklace I wear as a headpiece. A vast majority of the clothing I own is from the 1970s and 1990s. I may be inspired by old trends, just like most of fashion is now, but my style is me. There is no label to describe it.
My style just varies from my mood, where I am going, the weather, and other stuff like that. But I usually go for my black high top Adidas, a pait of high waisted medium wash shorts with studs, a cute crop top, some type of beanie or snapback and a statement necklace, ring, or bracelet. Or I go for a more Indie/Girly/Bohemian/California Girl look. And I love a bright or peach cloloured lipstick to tie it all together
These are nice reflections. I especially enjoyed listening to your perspective on not having to categorize your look in just one common label or group. My style is very feminine, classic (a little too much) and whatever that takes the least time to put together. I guess I want a style that doesn`t consist of too much distractions, but rather one that makes one single piece or garment stand out. Maybe minimalism, with an edge:) At least it sound easy when I think of it....
i personally prefer feminine classics. pencil skirts with flats or heels, blouses and jakets. i almost never go to the girly-girly side or the sporty one. i feel like a boss when i dress like one :)
This is the first video that I see of yours and I must say...I loved it! It really inspired me... What really stuck to me was what you said about fashion being vain and superficial but additionally being the very thing that gives a woman confidence and power. I probably knew that in some way, but actually hearing it out loud, allowed me to make better sense of it! Thank you for making this video! :)
I don't have a specific style. I do love maxi dresses and skirts. Like most people, I love jeans. I have a lot of black and white clothes because they are easy to match. I do experiment with color sometimes but not like...super bright neon colors (although, I do have a hot pink sleeveless dress. I did go through an aqua and coral phase. As for shoes, I'm more of a classic type. I don't like all the rhinestones and studs and stuff like that. I tend to stick to neutral colors like black. I've actually been looking for a pair of nice nude pumps lately.
I usually wear converse, and skinny jeans. I wear big sweaters with flowers and texts, and I like flanel shirts, and knitted jackets. What do you call that style?
All that I can say about my style is high waisted jeans, platforms shoes, burgundy/grey/black tops in general, straight hair and black mascara, bright accessories (nails, cellphone, and nude/orange lips) and neon coloured bomber. And I'm starting like nude beige shirts.
Most of my outfits I wear, vintage, edgy, casual, and girly. I've been told my style is somewhat 'eclectic' (I'm not sure if I spelled correctly, so please forgive me if that's the wrong word) but I'm not satisfied, any suggestions?
I checked out your blog and basically your white bag posted on 16th April I have one and it's kind of the same except mine is red and leather. it can transform into a low back pack and/or a shoulder bag I thought I only had it but now that you do I'm not afraid to take it out and use it. THANX I LOV UR VIDS
I agree that fashion is important too! I'm not the type of person who's on to make up and follow trends and stuff , but you have to wear clothes anyhow, so why not wear what you like and makes you feel nice, as long as your not obsessing over brand names and trends and stuff :)
mine is kinda grunge-ish, or emo. then i really like pastels too. most of my inspiration comes from people like gerard way, patrick stump, dan howell and then alexa poletti, marzia, and you.
i cant label my style because one day its birkenstocks and ripped shorts and soft Ts then the next its midi skirts and crop tops then the next its all black and white lbds and pumps then the next its off the shoulder gypsy shirts and sandals like UGH i try combining all the styles i like but it just ends up looking like shit
Eclectic
OMG i am soooooo like that
+kris rider Saaammmeee!!!!
Meeeee
I would say casual/very laid back and simple, I don't like overdoing it :) I mostly wear white black and gray
SAME
omg me too! I find my style changing especially color wise I think its because im maturing. I used to love like patterns and zebra print stuff but now its more simple.
I'm currently trying to get my style like this! I only really have a lot of graphic tees and bright shoes, Sounds weird but I'm kind of over it! X
i also wear mostly black ,white and grey
I guess my style is very elegant boho, I'm a hippy at heart and maxi dresses are my best friend. But I also love rocker/punk pieces and when I go out somewhere nice I dress more classical. So I'm a big mix & max haha which is what we all really are! I love that your putting across the idea that we don't need to box ourselves into any one style, I think that's a particularly important message for young woman :)
I love maxi dresses too!
sorry to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..?
I'm not holding a coffee or tea but I am holding my cat!!
My style is like relaxed and basic. Black, white, grey, and denim, usually loose. Sometimes boyish, but with a variety of classic timeless pieces and outdoorsy pieces mixed in.
I like wearing "boy clothes" while still being feminine.
A porcelain doll with stars on their skin;
An easy-bake oven with gods looking in
An afternoon summer with firefly mists,
Or a lost little lamb with blood on their fists.
I would be a neon screen-
floating amidst the void,
With milk and honey in their hair
And lavender flowers everywhere.
Gorgeous poem :O -Mellie
Wow, did you write that? Thats one heck of a poem, you should really write more and get them published
...I have very few clothes. I mean, this is not a typical girl statement. I actually DON'T- I keep rotating the same clothes over and over. And half of them aren't even "Stylish". *sigh*
I am fashionable but I have no money...
I know how you feel😭😭😭
Isabella Cruz Soul sisters :( Lmao
same here girl buuuuttttt *whispers* you can up cycle clothes to look stylish (based on your own taste of course)...
Oh my god, yes :( I also struggle with this. Full-time student budget says no to variety.
You don't. It's not necessary.
agreed
For everyone with the money dilemma, I suggest you try looking around your local thrift store. I know a lot of thrift stores are crap, but I really enjoy shopping at mine. I have quite a "fancyish" style and half my closet is from the thrift shop.
I prefer second hand stores because pants are so much cheaper and I don't usually like modern styles
It totally depends on my mood over all I like a free style nothing constrictive or fuzzy I like neutral colors and a sleek look :)
I think the best way to describe my style is eclectic, I love mixing vintage/bohemian pieces with pretty much everything.
Loved it! Especially the part about people pleasing and fashion not going together
My personal style is my mood because if I feel tired I use maybe some sweatpants or baggy jeans or long sweater if I feel more in the mood I wear skinny jeans with a pretty blouse and an imitation of leather jacket something pretty and I even straighten my hair if I have time lol
what style am i ?
i like wearing black, white, maroon and lots of dark colors, skinny jeans, flannels, pocket tees, vans, band shirts and shorts.
hahaha sammmmmeeeee
that's like me, that is hard to put into one category. but i would say edgy
I would say you're pretty edgy, but like she said don't put yourself in a box :)
same ahah
Clean grunge with a masculine edge.
I have a very weird style

Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn
I think this is one of my fav videos you have done. Why? Because you keep telling people it is about what they love! Very important message.
i just came across your videos on july 29 at 2am and managed to watch every one on every channel... um i am obsessed with you and think you are the definition of perfection and so inspiring! thank you for your videos! xoxo gina

right now mine's mostly sweaters and jeans xD but I'm going shopping this week and I hope to find cute but simple pieces :-D
You are one of the most inspiring beauty gurus on youtube. Thank you
I am so glad to find ur channel...i think its very very sensible, fashionable and trendy...loving it...and watching almost every video u posted

Hipster-Chic. It's bright and bold, with a bit of random and laid back designs.
My style is skinny jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, small chain necklace, and I normally put my hair in a side fish tale braid and I put in a bow/flower at the base or end of the braid. I also sometimes put on a thin silver bracelet with an infinity sign on it.
And if I were a shoes I would be a soft pink Sneaker!
how have I not seen any of your videos before? I'm obsessed now!
You should do a video on how to start a fashion blog!
Love these style tips! We admire all different styles and fashion personalities!
im a mix of almost everything because i love to try every single style n.n but it always has to have a kawaii girly touch and sometimes edgy also
Evelina,
I have a little bit of a problem.
Try combat boots and feminine pants instead :)
I would try changing the color pallette to more feminine colors, and wear high healed sneakers instead. Maybe some earrings or a little makeup.
I really really love the latter half of your video. The fact that you said that we shouldn't care too much about what others think and that there will always be critics, I really -- idk, it really hit me? I've heard it so much before but wow, that realization though. Thank you. Definitely subscribing. (And your accent!
This video was so inspiring, it really helped me out! Keep up the good work, you're a true inspiration!
one of the best fashion videos ive watched. thanks evelina!
Maybe minimalism, with an edge:) At least it sound easy when I think of it....
could you do a video on winter/christmassy trends or about being confident with your own style x
My style of definitely classic. Like clean chic classic. Certain days though I'm a little bohemian but mostly classic with a pop of nice accessories
@ Heidi Tammaru: a slip would cover your unmentionables. You can get half slips or whole slips, depending on what you need. Hope that helps.
i personally prefer feminine classics. pencil skirts with flats or heels, blouses and jakets. i almost never go to the girly-girly side or the sporty one. i feel like a boss when i dress like one :)
I had Black bracelet like that that rapped around twice, gold buttons and a built un watch and infinity sign... Soo cute them lost it
You look like Stephanie from fuller house!! You're so pretty!!
what I like to wear:
-black, white, golden, denim, jeans, leather, brown, checked, vintage wild sporty, grungy, and classy stuff.
I usually wear converse, and skinny jeans. I wear big sweaters with flowers and texts, and I like flanel shirts, and knitted jackets. What do you call that style?
My style is a casual preppy one. I have been very inspired by tumblr!
hi Evelina and many greetings from Cyprus! I would like to ask you, what photo camera do you use in your photo shoots?
Can't wait hearing from you! x
Very well spoken, loved this.
All that I can say about my style is high waisted jeans, platforms shoes, burgundy/grey/black tops in general, straight hair and black mascara, bright accessories (nails, cellphone, and nude/orange lips) and neon coloured bomber. And I'm starting like nude beige shirts.
This video was so inspiring for me I LOVE YOU EVELINA
AND NOW I AM INSPIRED BY YOU!
i have a simple boho chic style in the spring and summer and a rocker/ glam style in the fall and winter.
'I do a lot of research... some of it I find in my head' hahaha
Most of my outfits I wear, vintage, edgy, casual, and girly. I've been told my style is somewhat 'eclectic' (I'm not sure if I spelled correctly, so please forgive me if that's the wrong word) but I'm not satisfied, any suggestions?
I like the point of document the fashion style by fashion dairy. It really makes difference and the change is dramatic.
Um, probbably i'm girly but also i'm boho chic but at the same time like classy/preppy/polished. I will define my style as unpredictable☺️
I agree that fashion is important too! I'm not the type of person who's on to make up and follow trends and stuff , but you have to wear clothes anyhow, so why not wear what you like and makes you feel nice, as long as your not obsessing over brand names and trends and stuff :)
oh my god I LOVE your fashion blog
Classic and elegant, with a touch of vintage
I love the blue sandals from zara, I also have them
mine is kinda grunge-ish, or emo. then i really like pastels too. most of my inspiration comes from people like gerard way, patrick stump, dan howell and then alexa poletti, marzia, and you.
