If you have an otherwise perfectly fine high-quality garden hose (one that doesn't kink easily like cheap Walmart models) but a broken connector, or a stuck sprayer, it's super easy to fix. All you need is a correct size (either 5/8" or 3/4") garden hose repair kit. In this video I'll show you how to do it.
I appreciate you showing the mistake you made is the wrong size connector.... because is what I fear. Your recovery and explanation is very helpful!
A tip, dip rubber hose end in warm or hot water for a few seconds before inserting the fitting will be a breeze, no need force
fantastic tip! Thanks for sharing
Thanh you so mụch for the tip. We just replaced the stuck broken nozzle this morning after struggling to try to undo it. Very grateful for UA-cam too.
You could add a quick connect as well.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I’ve been trying to remove the nozzle for an hour and it won’t budge! But after seeing ur video I’m confident I can fix it thank you!
Thanks dude... I was about to make a big mistake right at the "Oh crap, it doesn't fit.." moment.
Haha.. Best laugh I've had all day. 😊
Best nozzle I’ve ever owned.
I think I can now fix my leaky connection.
The expandable hose popped (3rd one exchanged), but want to keep the nozzle stuck in hose.
Thanks for showing.
good job!!!! that was very clear and logical! appreciate it Fan!
I like how you purposely showed every possible mistake an amateur could make when putting a fitting onto a hose. Well done... if someone messes it up, they obviously weren’t paying attention.
Not on purpose though. Haha. but certainly helpful.
yeah even have his hose setup and hanging off of electrical wiring very nice job
I used to used & trust those clamp style ones but I found that the compression fitting ones work better and they never leak, you could get some cheap plastic ones at Walmart and they work really good, I will never go back to the hose clamp style ones
The only thing I would add is a quick disconnect fitting so you can quickly change nozzles.
Thanks, just the info I needed.
Thanks very much for the education. Very helpful and informative. Now I believe I can do it and not have to buy a new hose.
Thanks! Looks like I will just cut it, instead of wasting one year trying to detach old nozzle.
Wonderful, thank u so much
Thank you
Thank you. If you don’t mind, I would like to know the name of the ground cover that is in back of the hose - not the grass - the one at the end of this video
You mean the green plants in the background? They are Chinese Chive amzn.to/2YWxqpE
It would be easier to slide the clamp on the hose before putting the connector on.
what a big yard
He tightened the new sprayer way too tight on new hose fitting.
Has anyone noticed that the people repairing their water hoses speak English as a second language? I think it's because they are super intelligent, and they don't come from a "throw-a-way" society.
@G 300d
That makes sense... what about the low volume?
I wish I had seen this video before I threw away a good quality 75' hose which I cannot find a replacement with the same equality.
sound!
OMG how long have you been live in the U S ? you never use gardant hose at all in your life and you don't have any ply to use it? i rather buy a ply than buy a connecting hose.
that a male or female he just replaced?
Wait what? Cut the hose? 😵
SON OF A BITCH !!!!
IS THAT A MALE OR FEMALE PART ??????
I feel sorry for this guy ! There are definatly better videos on how to do this.
