Just love listening when Bob talks...you not only hear the honesty in his voice but you can feel it and immediately connect or relate to whatever topic he is discussing.

Bob is a smart man. He was talking about price increase. I'm just a side liner, and I'm going to have to go up on the price of my honey next year. I have been putting it off for a couple of years. My supplies have increased so much, and it's hard to get supplies sometimes.

You didn’t see this, but just on some bottles his cost has gone up 20%.

Nathan, this is your strong suit. A lot of people romanticize turning a hobby into a business. This has truly opened my eyes. From the thickness of concrete floors to cash flow has made realize you have to go all in if you want to be a commercial producer. This has made me more comfortable and secure in my choice to be a hobby beekeeper.

That is awesome Marcus! The best compliment you could give me is to tell me I helped you make an informed decision. Thank you.

Been loving this series and getting a greater understanding of all that goes into an operation like Bob's. He is like a bee hive himself with all his sources bringing the "nectar/honey" and him packing it into "cells/jars". Amazing all around. Not only does he know his bees but the industry as well. Hats off to both of you!

Hello! I just wanted to stop in and say how nice it was to talk with you at the Hive Life Conference. I wish you all the best in beekeeping and hope to see you again next year. Bob Binnie is such a great guy and I'm so glad he's generous with his experience and knowledge.

Yeah, fighting bureaucracy is a big part of it this days.
With fishing, olive oil, esential oils destilery, vineyard and honey bees all under one... there is no way l could do it without someone to do it for me. You need to be a calm cool guy like Bob to do it right

Im very please with this series of videos. Thank you Bob for being very open with your knowledge and experiences with out that this series would be very little value or may even lead someone into trouble.

Bob Bennie Honey Emperor. That's crazy. To hear him talk you would never think he was that big. Great video.

Bob strikes me as one that never wishes to retire. See that alot of that in the bee life . Like they have these goals but retirement not one of them. Growing up with auto workers for parents that looked forward to retirement every single day that's how I grew up thinking it worked. Course now days there's no big retirement plan at most these union jobs ..

Curious to know bob and other Beekeeper/packer’s exit strategy? Sell the whole business with the book of business as is or parcel it out to several individual buyers. He’s built a impressive business.

That’s a good question. It takes a special person to run that business.
