dave's has one of the best bang for buck combos of any actually decent hot chicken place I've been to. Their fries have been perfect every time i went and they don't mess around about that hot actually being hot

You need to try Lupes Mexican Eatery in Dana Point and order, The On Dana Point Burrito, sub out the carne asada with Al Pastor, add nacho cheese, and exclude the taquito dorado (recently added to the recipe and sucks). And need to try the salsas!!
So many fast/fast casual options in my area and I still choose Dave's an unhealthy amount of the time. Taste and consistency are all on point, from the chicken to the sauce to the bread to the fries to the kale slaw.
