Asking about his favorite aircraft and getting a story about the US leaving planes at the border with Canada so they can be towed by horse back into Canada and put into service. This is a bit of history that very few people know about. Scott is a diamond in the rough and cant wait to hear more from him. Thanks for this interview Sofi.
Prior to America joining the war, the story of the Americans leaving planes on the border with Canada then turning away while the Canadians would pull them across the border then ship them to Britain... true story. Roosevelt, Churchill, and King all working together.
Hi Sofi, next time you're this side of the pond, please go to Duxford and the RAF Museum in London. Probably need a day at each. Always love your videos.
This is one of many places I want to visit once I am lucky enough to retire in a few more years. Volunteering at a collection like this seems a really fun way to spend time after retirement too.
Absolutely low key museum...and when I was there soo so many very historical and important aircraft! Just GO there....amazing place! And I've not been there for like 18-20 years now? A lot of stuff I've worked on is probably there now....
I think I have seen this setting, the Bf109 in the background, before. I do not remember the exhaust manifolds that seem to be on the red cart to the left of the speaker though.
I was just wondering why I haven't seen more of those videos recently. Hopefully these will be more often this summer :) By the way, still working on the Technic Sherman project I told you about on the (i think?) Cobi TOG II stream.
Sofi ,cool on the aircraft, alot of history there too !!! They did a big part to win WWII. Very good interview and good to see you sitting and interviewing Sofi , I think you are a natural at doing that . Big Wave and Smile to you Sofi . Take care ...😊
How lucky you are to get to sit down with a living Encyclopedia of aircraft knowledge. Have you been keeping track of the Mr. Hews channel? The FV4005 is finished! IG has the latest images.
Been there a couple times and worth seeing but does not compare to PIMA. There are several others it does not compare to as well. I have been to roughly 40 aircraft museums and used to volunteer to one in California for years. She is spending her time in the right place.
@@Sofilein It was just a quizzical comment. I respect his knowledge of aircraft, I also appreciate him sharing it and you making entertaining videos of it!
If you ever find yourself in the Chicago area, out in the west burbs in Wheaton, IL is Cantigny Park & Museum. It's not Bovington but museum home of the Big Red One and pretty cool. Hope you get to visit!
My favorite tank girl is branching out into airplane. Okay, I'll follow along.

I immediately loved the BF-109 backdrop. One of my favorite planes. This is a good series.🤗

Excellent. Haven't been out there in years. Need to make time to go back.

Fascinating!
Always an outstanding video and presentation.
Again, Thank you Sofilein, for your work and the interview...The best interviews and information come from people, not "sources"
Another very interesting video. Thanks and keep up the good work and stay healthy.

I really like your museum videos. Keep up the good work.
Before the 'other tank game' comes, any chance of playing some Gunner, HEAT, PC!?
How lucky you are to get to sit down with a living Encyclopedia of aircraft knowledge.

Yeah! I follow him on IG it's a cool project
Consummate creator, great interview. Thanks for your effort Sof.
Thanks for the Plane Talk update. Will you go to Hill AFB now that the new wing is open ?
Sofie, if your going to start doing aircraft may I suggest Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinnville, OR

What plane is in the background?
@@skipmaloney2126 Thank you.
Might have missed it, but where is it at?
Tucson AZ!
He's interesting and ok but he's no Hilary Doyle! Maybe I'm just a little jealous he gets to spend time with Sofilein...
Hilary is in a league of his own but in our next videos I think you'll really enjoy his presentation style! he's a plane encyclopedia really
