Backpacking Bisti / De-Na-Zin & Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness - Part 1 of 2

Let's go on a backpacking adventure into the 4 corners area of the southwest and visit a very bizarre place called the Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness. (Pronounced: BIST-EYE ) Better known as the "Bisti Badlands" Wilderness. This BLM wilderness is a perfect place to snap photos and video of hoo-doos, spires, strange formations, petrified wood & logs and fossils.

It really is an amazing place to visit! I would like to go back as well and explore more in depth of this area. Part 2 of this trip will be in the Valley of Dreams area where the famous Alien Throne is. 👽

That really is some bizarre country to explore. It is hard to take in how many features are kept within the wilderness area. It is another world within New Mexico.

This area is one of the strangest places I've ever been backpacking to. There is so much to see in the Valley of Dreams that I want to go back and spend two nights just exploring this unique area.
