I love the idea of Jude Law just being a generic force user. Like, he's around the age where he either was a youngling (in which how would he have lived) or he just grew up in a time where he would be killed for it, so he just learned on his own.
Before episode 9 came out I was hoping that it was leading up to the emergence of many new force users. The time after the fall of the Empire is the first time in thousands of years that force sensitive children are neither indoctrinated by the Jedi nor acquired by the Sith. I'm not sure what Palpatine was doing with the children who exhibited force sensitivity during the time of the empire, but I"m sure it wasn't good. For thirty years force sensitive children have just been left to develop on their own.
Hey Thor, I've been wanting to ask. How do you feel about Ahsoka as a character right now? She had an amazing journey in TCW, but ever since Dave Filoni brought her back by using time travel, which is a very bizarre and idiotic choice, and it doesn't fit in the SW universe at all, He became way too attached to his fictional character to the point where he literally shoehorned her in every event that she didn't belong, was brought back three times, and her being alive during the original trilogy created more plot holes. Do you think Ahsoka has become so overused to the point where she gets boring really fast? I really liked her in TCW, but after watching her boring show on Disney Plus, and as time went by, I've honestly grown really tired of seeing her in pretty much every SW show, and she should've died in Rebels Season 2 at the hands of Darth Vader. Worst of all, Ahsoka was utterly butchered in her own show. She knew the whole time the Orb could lead to Thrawns return and the entire Galaxy will be drenched in blood of countless innocent people. And instead of destroying the Orb when she literally had the chance to do so in order to prevent Thrawn's return, to prevent another full scale war, and honoring Ezra's sacrifice, she foolishly gave it to Sabine who is so immature, which led her to give the Orb to Baylan Skoll. And because of that, Thrawn has now returned, and everybody is doomed. Many have blamed Sabine for putting the Galaxy at risk and all the blood will be on her hands, which I very much agree, but Ahsoka is just as guilty and responsible. Way to go, Disney and Way to go, Dave Filoni. Another beloved character who is officially ruined. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
Definitely. Also, Rosario Dawson was heavily miscast and shows as much emotion as Plank from Ed, Edd, n Eddy. Ahsoka should've been killed off in Rebels. Filoni either can't kill his characters off or keeps them around way too long before killing them off. Cad Bane is another example. Cad was supposed to be killed by Boba in an unfinished Clone Wars arc right before ROTS, officially passing the torch to Boba, which belonged to Jango before Cad. Instead, he brought Cad back in TBOBF, 28 years after ROTS, not only hurting Boba's iconic Bounty Hunter legacy, but also killing Cad off in a dumb, generic, and anti-climatic way. He did that to shove Cad into The Bad Batch only to make him look like a chump against Fennec. That way he also has more Cad Bane content to write between ROTS and ANH, while Boba Fett still hardly has any content in between that time despite being the top Bounty Hunter in the Galaxy. There's been tons of speculation and rumors that Filoni has always been a Boba hater, which is really starting to prove true. He only cares about his characters and not the OG's. They 100% need to give Boba's character to someone else who actually enjoys and respects the character. The fact that they brought Daniel Logan back in The Bad Batch only to voice some random clone cadet but not Boba, while the whole series was revolved around Boba's sister Omega, was really pathetic. Disney continues to disrespect the legacy OG characters, and it's become very tiresome.
@SecondBreakfastAndThreeH-zo3jp Not to mention, Ahsoka is quite talented when it comes to Lightsaber fights. She's quick, agile, and acrobatic. Rosario Dawson is too slow to perform any of this.
@@dereklopez9060 You do realize they can make her quick right? I mean it's not like they don't have the ability to do that to actors when it comes to action scenes. Even then Ahsoka is in her early 40's so she's likely not going to be as fast this time around unlike when she was a teenager.
I loved the Goonies as a child, I can easily enjoy this. YES, I have to turn my brain off for obvious solutions like the navigational logs of the ship to get the location of their home planet but other then that, it looks good, Jude is a great actor and the children, well, they behave like children. I liked the owl character.
I turned my brain off when I was a child in 1977 because it was obvious to me that Star Wars was fantasy and had absolutely NOTHING to do with science fiction. But I've never actually met anyone in person or online that feels the same way that I do. To me Star Wars is swords and sorcery. Sword fights and wizards. In space. When most people see womething set in space they associate science fiction but I don't and I thank George Lucas for opening my mind up to that case. I kinda feel sorry for everyone else who doesn't quite get it. I do believe many people don't enjoy Star Wars because it actually IS bad science fiction. Duh.
@@ichigen511 It's not bad science fiction, it's a different genre: Space opera. I grew up in the days of "hard" science fiction literature, but I recognized that Star Wars reached backwards to Flash Gordan and John Carter of Mars. And that was okay...space opera was clearly identified back then as a different genre. Dune is also space opera.
I think they briefly explained the navigational logs issue. SM-33 immediately lost memory of where they'd been the moment they exited the barrier. If he lost that memory, it was probably wiped from the ship's astrogational system as well...a property of the barrier.
Thank you for answering my question, Thor! And to bring peace to all those who don't like the sequels, I don't either. I'm an OT and PT lover. ❤ ROTJ was the perfect ending.
A wild theory just crossed my mind: what if “Jod” is actually Petro from TCW? Petro has links to Hondo Ohnaka and his pirates, what if he survived Order 66 and the Empire by joining up with Hondo? The Bad Batch has shown that Gungi survived Order 66.
Hey Thor, sorry I have a two parter. 1) do you think that the kids referring to Jude laws potential force abilities being as a a string was meant to be a dig at The Thread? 2) do you think that the planet that the owl lady was near was Iego (capital i, not an L) that Anakin mentions in TPM and the owl species is what got lost in translation and became the angels that Anakin talks about in TPM?
I think the biggest problem with Disney Star Wars is everything needs to be connected, the success of the legends era was people throwing crazy random ideas out there with no constraints. But at the same time Disney Star Wars has some of the worst writers out there in Hollywood so it wouldn’t help even if they did do what I said.

Doesn't actually matter since nothing Disney makes is canonical.
Impossible! The Empire is using different "Money" to what the Republic did, so if the Sith was behind At-Atten (the Planet from Skeleton Crew) then they would have been using Imperial credits not #RepublicCredits.
I was always under the impression Palpatine wouldn't necessarily need a planet like At Attin to "print" his credits since he had vast amounts of money to rely on left by his master, Darth Plagueis, who was a very high ranking member of the banking clan and therefore filthy, filthy rich. (Altho Plagueis is ofcourse canon, this detail was mentioned in the James Luceno book) In addition, Palpatine teamed up with none other than Count Dooku, who after leaving the Jedi Order, went back to his home planet to live as the Count of Serenno, which meant having access to his family riches.
That's what I thought the 'rey trilogy' would involve. She decides to NOT start a new academy and then force users just pop up every where. The norms start to not like force users, the senate is split on force users - one side wants rey to start it up but want to control her and the academy, the other side wants to create a virus that attacks midichlorians and put and end to force users since they seem to cause a lot of trouble. in reality a minority of the anti-force users in the senate just want to keep force users for themselves so they have more power. There is the group of force users that want to be left alone , some that think they are superior and should rule... So yeah, x-men in space, etc etc.
IMO, id rather skeleton crew be a more self contained story. Sure it can connect... but in an entire galaxy, I dont want everything to connect to one master plan. Not everything need be a rule of 2 conniving masterclass.
Just considering the world of At Atan, filled to the brim with analysts, and that they've been doing their great work for so long (without depleting natural resources), AND the world that we live in - I think the mystery of At Atan is more likely to reveal that credits are analogous to bitcoin, and the great work is all the number crunching done to create more credits
I have a tinfoil hat theory that theyre some CIS holdover. The beurocracy there being some sort of tactical droid secret long term strategy. Similar to in rebels where they hadnt shut down as they thought the signal was trickery.
I think to deal with the credit is just that they've been isolated from the galaxy for so long that their "regular" credits are valuable antic to the rest of the galaxy, not that it's a planet that specifically produces it (it makes no sense to have your regular currency to be made with an extremely rare material)
Uh, having them be made of an extremely rare material is the entire point or currency right up until you start trading *representations* of that rare material because the stuff is too heavy to lug around.
@@CantankerousDave we're talking about a civilisation that spans across the galaxy (a good chunk of a it a least) and has access to advanced technology, why would they bother to make their credits in something extremely rare? Nowadays the value of money isn't in the material but in what it represents, make sense to assume it's the same idea for them, even during the Old Republic. To touch briefly on the use of gold in earlier times of our world, yes it was rare, but also the main reason it was so valuable was because it didn't rarely have other use than being pretty and rare.
In terms of Jude Law's character, I see only two options for him. One: he is not force sensitive, but he has mastered the art of trickery in his years as a pirate and uses that to his advantage in stealing from others. Two: he is an untrained and undiscovered Force sensitive individual, who upon learning the value of compassion from these children, and perhaps upon discovering some kind of secret plan involving the empire and At Attin, then joins the larger fight against the imperial remnant and possibly joins and studies with Ahsoka or Luke, and eventually embodies the wise Jedi master role that he seemed destined to play when he portrayed a young Dumbledore in the Harry Potter prequels. Either way, I just hope that the writers have a solid plan in mind if they're going to keep expanding the 'Mandoverse' characters and storylines.
Hey Thor... I agree that Jod is probably untrained... at least untrained by a Jedi or Sith. In the EU, there were tutors that the Jedi would recommend to families that did not allow the Order to take their children. Also, if you remember, at the very beginning of Rebels, Ezra was using Force Speed and Force jump when we first meet him. Kannan had a hard time keeping up with him in the first chase... He was a thief, and developed those abilities as part of his profession. So, I suppose that it's even Canon for Force-sensitives' ability to develop some powers on their own.
Hi Thor About the question if we will get the OT heros together again. That was one of the reason Jon Favreau started working on this Mandoverse era. He thought that not seeing Han, Luke and Leia together as the heros we remembered them as, was the biggest mistake of the sequels. This was before Kathleen threw Dave in as to assist Jon. So Jon probably had some Heir to the Empire version in mind. He planned for series connecting into movies. First we got Luke and fans got excited. But Kathleen didn't, cause that version of Luke Jon gave us made her legacy look even worse. So she put Dave in charge of Jon's project in secret after that fantastic ending of s2. Since then it's been a mess, and it somehow felt like Dave and Kathleen had the same kind of relation as she had with Rian. Then we got BoBF, Grogu back with Din and s3 of Mando. We also got Ahsoka. My feeling Is that we will get some sort of Heir to the Empire but with Dave's characters. The only thing that can change that is Favreau's movie, if he gets to be in charge of that. I actually don't think Kathleen greenlit that one. It came as a surprise when it was presented. Hopefully Jon gets to restore what is left of his original plans. Your thoughts?
Hey Thor, I'm still so surprised how intriguing the mystery of At-Attin is. I have been excited for this show for awhile just because it's for kids and mindless fun--it's what makes Rebels so strong with the Ghost crew. But with all Disney projects... I was cautiously optimistic (even still given how we know how shows can tail off). Somehow I think the directors like Watts and Dallas-Howard amongst others have crafted the perfect recipe for Star Wars lovers and new fans while having a compelling story. To think this show had little optimism from Disney during production in comparison to The Acolyte where they were reportedly planning multiple seasons? I'm excited to see where the rest of this show goes. Throughly enjoy your videos on this channel and Thor+. Take care
That's absolutely my thought. I don't think there's any way in the galaxy Palpatine would have let knowledge of Jedi exist or, for that matter, not very obviously stick his finger into their lives. If he were that clever, he wouldn't have been clenching his fist and, as Leia said, forcing planets to slip through his fingers.
I'm just hoping Skeleton Crew doesn't tie in too heavily into the Mandoverse/Filoniverse/Sequel trilogy. This show is pretty good so far, and I'd hate for it to turn into another pawn used to set all these other events, which honestly just aren't all that interesting or well-handled. Let this show breathe and be its own thing.
Hey Thor, one of the theories about At Attin is that its a source of a rare element used to make Old Republic Credits. If Republic Credits are made of some special metal, why didn't Waatu or anyone else on Tattoine accept them as currency? Wouldn't they be even more valuable?
I hope it was just the prequel republic. I would think that if it were much older, the pirates (not being historians) wouldn't have immediately recognized the currency as "old Republic." It would have to be something still in circulation within their own memories.
Thanks for reading my comment Thor! It's always fun debating Star Wars and I don't think I'll ever tire of it. Love your content. You really do bring a great perspective to things. I do think I could do a little better making my comments not seem as harsh but it's always coming from a place of love for the thing I grew up watching and reading every chance I could get. Star Wars has and always will be that thing that makes me the most happy. Marvel is great, but it just isn't Star Wars.
If it is, I won't be watching it, ever. Which would be a shame, I was planning to buy it on DVD. But if it relates anything to the sequels, at all, even in an Easter egg, I won't be giving them money for it, never mind time as well.
I highly doubt it's setting up anything in the sequel Trilogy or the empire controlling it behind the scenes. Why would Palpatine allow any positive sentiments of the Jedi on a planet he controlled?
Am I the only one wondering why the group won’t check the ships log on where it went to/came from to find out how to get back to their planet? I don’t think that this was addressed and we know that this definitely is possible in SW
The show is alright. Disney has done too much damage to the franchise though. It's really hard to stay invested or care much at all about any of these releases after how they've treated Luke, Boba, Obi-Wan, Han, Lando, Thrawn, and other legacy characters. Kennedy only cares about her views and agendas while Filoni only cares about his characters while ghosting and flipping off the OG's. Unless Star Wars is sold to HBO or another competent company, it's hard for me to care much about it anymore. They've done so much damage in just 12 years since buying it from George Lucas.
It's a lot of Marvel involvement into Disney combined with Kennedy who created an elite group of women and is in war with the company. You see how the company can't help itself constantly creating the idea of equality and has to trigger their agenda in everything as if it even matters since if you did care about it, you be hurt by constantly be reminded.
I agree with joe, ignore all the garbage but when something good comes out? Might as well give it a chance. If they tie it to the sequels drop it but so far this show is awesome and you’re robbing yourself if you don’t just cave and watch it lol
When they said the credits were from the “old republic” I wondered if it was the actual Old Republic or if it meant the older republic before the New Republic. It would be cool if they meant the Old Republic
Hi Thor I do think At Attin was isolated even longer back in time. Even if this with the hyperlane accident sounds as a nice point in time for this. It feels like it has been isolated longer. But the sith being involved sound plausible. Can it be since Bane started his rule of two and disappeared from the Jedi radar. One reason is that for a place to become a legend or a myth is longer then 200 years. Especially since you have alien species that becomes older then that and should have remembered the planet.
Hey Thor, I can't be the only one who feels like there is some Fallout Vault vibe about the planet. It is either a massive social experiment or their great work has long ago become redundant and the bureaucracy just kept going. Everyone has a non-descript job like analyst. Either they are overanalyzing something or they completely lost the plot and just kept going. Either way, this show is weird. 4 locations so far and none were Tatooine!
Hey Thor, One of the future projects that has piqued my interest is James Mangold's Dawn of the Jedi movie. I think it's about time that Star Wars as a whole moves away from the Skywalker saga and starts fresh in a different period. I remember you saying a few times that you were not the biggest fan of the Dawn of the Jedi comics by Dark Horse. Can you go into more detail on this, please?
It honestly feels like the mandoverse is going to be a sequel period for those who hated the sequels. At least, that certainly makes the most sense. Sure. Some of us wouldn’t come back or accept that, but it’d be the most logical way to stem the bleeding. Some of us will come back for that at least. As much I don’t like the sequels, I’m certainly waiting to see if they happens.
I think that it is very clear that Skeleton Crew is doing it's best to not be linked to any other aspect of Disney Wars. It has no reason to be connected, gains nothing from it, and would be hurt by some connection to another show or movie. So far, 3 episodes in, Skeleton Crew has felt like a show that would have come about after Return of the Jedi, and it is the ONLY Disney Wars show that feels like Star Wars. I hope the writers commit to ending the story as soon as possible, and that they continue to distance the show from other Disney Wars works so Skeleton Crew can keep being a proper tale within the Galaxy of Star Wars.
That is interesting, I just wondered if “Jod” was actually Petro from TCW, but he grew up as part of Hondo’s crew throughout the Imperial era before starting his own crew
I can see a parallel coming between At Attin’s Great Work & the Jedi’s own indoctrination of children. Jod might be a former youngling who left before Order 66
Hey Thor. During the signing with he and Disney, George not only offered up his sequels treatments. He also talked about the treasure trove of the Expanded Universe. In all honesty, Disney and Kathleen Kennedy don’t have George Lucas’s innovative mind. So his sequels would not have happened. However they entirely dropped the ball by not using the EU. The saga is about the father (Anakin), the children (Luke and Leia), and the grandchildren (Jaina, Jacen, Anakin Solo and Ben Skywalker). Money on the table.
The funny thing is Lucas idea of Maul syndicates and the remnants attacking the reconstructing New Republic would’ve been perfect for the 30 year gap. But Disney doesn’t have a visionary leader now they’re doing a bootleg heir to the empire.
What if all of the worlds that supposedly destroyed, were not actually? What if all of them were kept hidden by the Sith even before Palpatine, secretly funding the Sith Grand Plan? We know in legends Darth Plagueis’ public persona was a financier and head of Damask Holdings, a perfect way to control these hidden treasure worlds don’t you think?
I mean I can't believe anyone can be shocked that a peiuce of star wars media takes place in the star wars canon... Like even the EU which very much was never cannon as per the lisncing agreement with Goerge lucas so it could even exsit takes place in what the Athurors wanted to be cannon or in canon... In fact it's odd for an IP as old as star wars to not have any alternate cannon stuff.... So yeah the skelton crew takes place in cannon... like both clone ars shows and all those old OG trilogy cartoons... Like I canb't believe someone can hate the squal trilogy so much to forget that all star wars media takes place in the same universe unless it's made to be what if... but evebn then you can say it's just a holonets program. like alt history is on earth right now... So yeah I don't think anything before dDisney buying star wars had people wondering idf it was in the star wars galxey? So it's odd it started just because Sta wars was sold...
Whatever they do from this point on... this franchise is _permanently_ wounded due to VII, VIII & IX. And for as long as they're dancing story lines around in this era, (that lead to that car wreck dead-end known as the sequel travesty)... they'll always be hindered. Better off just abandon this entire timeline and bounce back 1000s of years! 😏
All roads lead to the sequel trilogy no matter how hard we want to wish that dreadful trilogy away. Disney will not drop the sequels because it is Kathleen Kennedys brain child and will refuse to leave until she knows her legacy is cemented permanently with the sequels. All the shows have some connection to the sequels whether we want them or not. Disney will not let us forget easily who owns Star Wars and what they feel is better for the franchise.
Her legacy is already cemented as the person who killed the most lucrative IP in history. Those movies are objectively awful, and there’s nothing that will ever change that. She made millions of die hard fans apathetic. And isn’t attracting new ones. Failed catastrophically, she has.
Star Wars is not the largest franchise on the planet, that honor goes to Pokémon at $98.9 billion. Mickey Mouse and Friends #2 at $61.2 billion. Winnie the Pooh #3 at $48.5 billion. Finally Star Wars #4 at $46.7 billion. You have to take into account that’s what it made when George Lucas owned it; ever since Disney bought it, it’s failed to make back their investment and is still in the red and that money pit is getting deeper.
I really hope this show is not a setup for the sequel trilogy. I dont mind it being connected to the old republic or even with current events of star wars but please i hope they stop trying to connect it to the main plot of the movies. I hope they just let this be its own story. If they really want a show or movie to bridge the gap between the movies then they should write one that will be outright meant to be that.
Wasn’t the original capital of the Republic, NOT corsucant but BAD ATIN so is ad atin perhaps in reality the old Republic old original capital. perhaps the capital from which it was born?? And the great work is trying to rebuild the Republic someday🤷♀️ If you look back to something about the old concepts for the original, it was bad atin or something
OMG you have lost it. Just make a show about kids on a pirate ship. Stop with the, "Well, what are we to make of the main character's dark hair. Is he secretly a sith lord in hiding? Is Fern is the great grandmother of Leia's half sister's great aunt?" " Give it a Fing rest already. Just make a show about kids on a pirate ship.
I don't think KK is smart enough to let good or even decent writers/creators influence the bigger story. Skelton Crew is on an island. A small island that is a part of the larger archipelago that is Andor, Rogue One and the first 2 seasons of Mando.
I hope this isn’t true but I could definitely see palpatine paying for his shit by endless money printing causing inflation and economic suffering which caused people to join the rebellion.
Disney has responded to the very righteous and correct hatred for their dog sh*t "sequel" trilogy by flipping the bird at the longtime fans and doubling down on their catastrophic and undeniably expensive failures. As long as the Demon Harpy Gorgon who currently holds the IP hostage is in charge, the possibility of a connection or segue into her little pet horror show exists, and, of course, the institutional hatred for Luke Skywalker at the Filthy Mouse Hole will remain. (Ok, that was a long sentence) So, yeah, Skeleton Crew could be headed there, but let's hope not. I have yet to watch any of it, but I might. That will change if they start sequel-izing it. It's interesting that DisLucasFilm has been rumoured to be unhappy with this show, which I would take as a good sign. Fingers crossed...
Of course it will be used to set up and/or explain the sequel trilogy. Disney cannot help themselves and will do anything to salvage their garbage trilogy, even if it's small tie-ins. The good news is, a significant portion of the once great fan base is now apathetic towards Disney Star Wars, so let it burn, nobody cares.
It always sounds so boring when people complain about the sequels not putting the previous heroes together for a big hero moment. They each had hero moments. There aren't the lead protagonists of the sequels. This requirement that they all share a scene together is so strange to me.
It's because a true passing-of-the-torch respects the past and looks to the future. Respecting the past would mean letting Han, Luke and Leia be the heroes they were at the end of the OT. That's not what happened. The sequels destroyed the past so they could make something new. I can't speak for anyone else, but I expected a passing of the torch in the sequels simply because the original actors were getting old. I did NOT expect the destruction of Han and Luke (and Leia to a lesser extent).
You could make the best, most compelling story ever to set up the sequels. And it wouldn’t matter because they are objectively terrible. Like, would you want to write a setup story for Pluto Nash? No. The film was awful and no one cares. Just like the sequels.
Hey Thor, who cares? I mean sincerely. If it's just for content fodder, because there are so many SW channels, including yourself, that's still not a majority of people. Not enough people care about this anymore. The numbers show it.

Indeed ❤
Same here.
I really liked this episode and was quite surprised how much fun it was.
A wild theory just crossed my mind: what if “Jod” is actually Petro from TCW? Petro has links to Hondo Ohnaka and his pirates, what if he survived Order 66 and the Empire by joining up with Hondo? The Bad Batch has shown that Gungi survived Order 66.
wrong accent, wrong facial structure, very likely perished in order 66
jod is probably a rando former padawan or knight
I like this idea but I’m not sure it really fits. I don’t think he was the one who joined hando I think it was the little girl
I think we might’ve actually seen one the “angels” in the clone wars if I’ve not mistaken. That’d be a cool theory tho
@@SimplyJohn155you Are not mistaken Anakin meet them when he goes to that planet looking for the antidote to the Blue Shadow Virus
This was filmed around the same time as Acolyte so they likely didn't know about The Thread
Hey Thor
Thank you for answering my question
Of course the show is leading to the Sequels. That is why the main ship is the same class as the one the Knights of Ren used.
What's funny is this show is aimed at kids yet it's watched by adults who complain it's not their vision of star wars.
That's what happens when you gatekeep a franchise for 10 years.
Take care
Why would Palpatine let a positive image of the Jedi flourish on a planet his Empire controlled?
Let this show breathe and be its own thing.
david lowery is one of my favorite directors. this show is fantastic
I hope that the Skeleton Crew show isn't setting up the Sequel Trilogy in any way. That would ruin it completely.
Stopped caring about Starwars a while ago
But this show is starting to sound interesting
@@GrievousReborn
Why would I care? Palpatine died at the end of Return of the Jedi. He can't care. Why should I?
Am I the only one wondering why the group won’t check the ships log on where it went to/came from to find out how to get back to their planet? I don’t think that this was addressed and we know that this definitely is possible in SW
My assumption is that maybe it's been damaged since this ship is super, super old, but who knows
Come on, Thor! I thought you wanted more people to watch the show! This video will almost certainly have the opposite effect!!
Filoni isn’t the problem.
Ah man... forget all that and just let this show open your heart. A good SW show is too rare to waste time hating.
The final nail in the coffin was the acolyte
it's not arguing, it's debating. people need to learn the difference between the two.
E V E R Y T H I N G in Disney's Star Wars point to the infamous Sequel Trilogy.
I really do like the thought of an animated series based on the vision of Lucas for what would have came after the OT.
Hey Thor,
I can't be the only one who feels like there is some Fallout Vault vibe about the planet.
I'm on the same plane of thought as you. I think at this point the Great Work is just "make work."
Hey Thor,
One of the future projects that has piqued my interest is James Mangold's Dawn of the Jedi movie.
Hey Thor, do you think Jude Law's character could be one of the kids rescued with Omega in the end of The Bad Batch?
Interesting
That is interesting, I just wondered if “Jod” was actually Petro from TCW, but he grew up as part of Hondo’s crew throughout the Imperial era before starting his own crew
That doesn't even make sense.
I can see a parallel coming between At Attin’s Great Work & the Jedi’s own indoctrination of children. Jod might be a former youngling who left before Order 66
What about the disappearance of Kamino? Maybe he was one of the kids making fun of Obi Wan.
You’re taking that quote out of context because he had a different take on the grandchildren aspect that had nothing to do with the EU.
@ the rest of the quote was…
“It’s in the novels and everything.”
Here’s the sad truth…no one is giving any of this any real thought…they’re just making anything, calling it Star Wars, and not caring about legacy….
Yeah! Sorry Dis. I won't be renewing until Andor Season 2 comes out.
As soon as Disney figures out that no one’s cares about the sequel trilogy will be the the day that Star Wars content will get better.
Can't see any link to the sequels in Skeleton crew none at all in the first 3 episodes so far
Army of accountants??? Kind of makes sense. The Emperor might not have set it up but if he found it he could manipulate them to be his bank.
A computer, hitchhhiker's guide to galaxy the planet was removed for a galactic highway. A thought -planet.
No it's not
I mean I can't believe anyone can be shocked that a peiuce of star wars media takes place in the star wars canon...
Of course it is, its Disney Star Wars, where else would it be going?
I hope not. but Disney/Lucasfilm remains oblivious to the fact that there are many people who want nothing to do with the ST.
Stupid theory. Palpatine wasn’t around in the days of the Old Republic.
Tried to watch it twice.. fell asleep both times during ep 2
Hey, Thor. I hear ya but I mean tcw and rebels were called kids shows yet here we all are so I'm not discount anything on that premise
I love to argue... But do you know HeroQuest!? Cause if not, then your opinion just really doesn't matter!!
Its obvious that the planet is way older so it can't have anything to do with the empire
If you don't want to have children perhaps she will.
He was seduced by the dark side. That's how you were born Luke. By the powers of the force.
She doesn't love her child. That's why she need to control her.
Anything to do with the sequels and I nope out.
Nobody care about pokemon any longer. Mickey mouse is cultural in a different way that you can see him in multiple franchises.
@@robertagren9360pokemon is still very big.
Disney isn't smart enough to see such connections.
I don't get how so many people hate what Disney did, yet continue to give them money.
Wow, I was already uninterested but this? Setting up to that dumpsterfire? Now I'm even less incline to ever give the show a shot.
Just go away, you're creepy and not funny.

so is ad atin perhaps in reality the old Republic old original capital. perhaps the capital from which it was born??
And the great work is trying to rebuild the Republic someday🤷♀️
If you look back to something about the old concepts for the original, it was bad atin or something
Aye but we got lesbian space moms… all I wanted in star wars
Hoping SC fails spectacularly and we can get the ball rolling on some lucasfilm changes
That’s a brain dead take to have to hope a good show so far has to fail.
(Ok, that was a long sentence)
So, yeah, Skeleton Crew could be headed there, but let's hope not. I have yet to watch any of it, but I might. That will change if they start sequel-izing it. It's interesting that DisLucasFilm has been rumoured to be unhappy with this show, which I would take as a good sign.
Fingers crossed...
Unfortunately, all roads lead to the sequels
I hope not, but I fear so.
Of course it will be used to set up and/or explain the sequel trilogy. Disney cannot help themselves and will do anything to salvage their garbage trilogy, even if it's small tie-ins. The good news is, a significant portion of the once great fan base is now apathetic towards Disney Star Wars, so let it burn, nobody cares.
good lore'd - it could be this is all retcon for the terrible rotten awful sequels. dang
Lol i haven’t watched any of the show
It always sounds so boring when people complain about the sequels not putting the previous heroes together for a big hero moment.
That disney starwars isn't very good.
I hope not
Doesn't seem connected to the sequels yet. But if it does, then I'll stop watching it.
