- Join Stacey and Craig as we have a lovely day at Aberaeron, in West Wales.
I adored this pretty little place. It was so colourful. My kind of place.
We were actually meant to be going somewhere else, but sadly there was an incident on the route to the other town so we quickly changed route and headed to Aberaeron. Had we been able to do our research, we'd have probably waited until the work had been completed before visiting as it did spoil the views slightly. But it just means that we will have to go back and visit again in the future.
We also stopped off at Newquay on our way home. This was a really quick stop-off as it was extremely busy there. Again, it's somewhere that we definitely want to go back to soon and explore it properly.

What a lovely place this is, we enjoyed walking around with You & Craig, some great shops too, we would of had to go in the fudge shop too it reminded me of the ones in Scarborough, which now makes me want a trip to the Seaside 😜 All the house colours were so ice but if I lived there I would want a Black One 😂 its my favourite colour & it would have to be #13 🤔 & on a hill 🫢 with a beach like that with so many pebbles I would forever be trying to find the perfect skimmer, I think my record is 14 from back when I was 23 🫢 Thanks for sharing another lovely day out with us, I think the Ducks were Duck Surfing in the rapids, I believe when they can’t find a board they use another duck as the Board 😂 it was a very sad Lovers Bridge, I alway carry a spare lock with me just incase we come across one, i could of been the 3rd on their 😂 Hope your all having a fun week, Take Care ❤🫶x

@@thereesfamilyadventures I was quite young when I got the 14 Skims & back then my counting wasn’t always accurate 🤔🤪 Going out to Play 🤣 I may be finished after an hour early access on Sik 😱😂 I’m going to have all my Medical details in my coat pocket should you need them 😳😜 Hope your having a fun weekend, its back to work from tonight for me 🫢🫶x

@@thereesfamilyadventures by the time we have all had our Camera checks we probably will only get one or 2 rides 😜, just depends if they make us go around the queue or if we can just switch seats so every body gets a go at front & back & anywhere in between 🫢 When I went with Thomas & Charlie one go was enough for me 🤪 Charlie did manage Twice around but looks iffy for a few hours 😂 Have a nice Sunday ❤️🫶x
Hi to you all, good to see you back. Hope you are all feeling better. It does look very pretty. Love all the different coloured houses. Some wonderful shops. Love the blue dress but was expensive. Would be an amazing place to live. Good to see the spring flowers. The river walk looked relaxing but muddy. Newquay looks nice. A good place for a holiday. Hope your week is going well. Thanks both. It was a very pretty place. I loved all of the colours, and not a chain store in sight! Just little independent shops. Definitely a good place for a holiday. Hopefully one day we'll be going to the holiday park there. Having a good week thanks. Hope you are too xx
What a lovely town (never heard of this before 😢) seems to be a hidden gem to be honest 👌🏻🏴
Loved mouching around the small shops and along the beach front (lush that 👍)as was that one scoop ice cream 🍦 😮

That brought back memories, I went to university many years ago at nearby Lampeter and we used to have days out to Aberaeron. I remember a lovely spring day spent strolling from pub to pub around the town and I got my first (and only!) tattoo at Rat's tatoo parlour which I think has changed it's name now.

I feel sheltered I’ve never seen a fudge stick in an Ice cream before, ice cream is getting so expensive for what it is also chips just don’t get it, lovely shops when you visit these towns/places it really makes me what to visit them they look so good, love the colourful houses xx
I couldn't get over the price of the ice cream! Just one scoop too!! I dread to think how much the chips would have been. I loved the shops. There wasn't a chain store in sight, just small independent shops. I'd love to live somewhere like that where everything is so colourful xx

Hi Amy. Thanks for letting me know. It was a very last minute decision to visit here, so we hadn't done any research about it. Beautiful place to live though. I think I said that I'd like to live there quite a few times when I was there haha. I definitely want to come back to explore it properly. Are there any areas that you'd recommend seeing there?
